Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery

Very respectful and handled the difficult time well.

I went to visit my mom and dad on Memorial Day My dad was in the army for 20 years This is a nice cemetery It's very big They do have a newer area but the cemetery is an older. My dad died in 1971. My dad keeps his lawn cut so his yard looks good... Who am I kidding My dad never cut the grass He had one of us do it but I Will give him a pass He worked 14-hour days.

It's lovely and in a very quiet beautiful place. There are different Gardens with nice spiritual names describing the different areas to find your loved ones. I Love that it's family owned .The staff is the way businesses used to be trustworthy, friendly ,
They only allow Bronze flat headstones. Actually it looks very nice and makes it easy to keep the grounds tidy even though it doesn't leave as many choices.
I like that it's ok to leave anything you want between October 1 thru April 1 then only flowers in the vases built into headstones. It's a very nice place in a very nice location.
It's the only cemetery that has its own lake and Every garden has its own special feature. There are many benches within the park also. It has a very calm peaceful but positive sunny feel . I'm happy with my choice.

I also did not have the best experience with Rosedale I am sorry to say. I will say that the office people there are nice. I stopped in because I heard that a family that grew up with might have been buried there but I was not sure. With help from the office staff they were able to find the names in the computer so I now knew that they were in fact there. They showed me on a map in the office where to look and gave me a map with X marks the spot on it. So out I went to find my loved ones. No luck after a bunch of time so back to the office. They still claimed that were they were so at this point I believed that the markers had been buried like so many in the cemetery have. That my loved ones were in unmarked graves. I have to say I was very upset by this but workers said they would find and uncover the markers. After leaving my phone number and waiting about a week I got a call that it was done. I went back to the same place and could not find my love ones. No new grave markers had been uncovered in the area they had pointed out. This had been about two weeks now. So back to the office again. I reintroduced myself and again had to go through all about what I was doing and even had to spell the last name of the family I was looking for. Hard to believe right? They then pointed out a different place in the cemetery. The first point was in the front and now they directed me to the back of the place. After a while I did find my loved ones there. Just can't believe what I was put thought. In the end I did find them but WOW. I hope that no one else has to go through what I did.

Poorly maintained.....markers are all flush to the ground which is understandable for mowing but many are covered by weeds. A little weed whipping would help.

very unhappy with the lack of upkeep . tree branches all over from a storm several weeks ago, last summer very little lawn care with way too many weeds no leaf cleanup last fall . the roads are falling apart. never used to be like this years ago.very sorry my family members buried there.

Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery - has very poor business practices. Jim told me (in person) there were no fees for my Mom's grave. When I got the bill from the mortuary - he charged the mortuary $150 for "winter burial" -- making up several (lame) excuses why and blaming the mortuary for his miscommunication. Make sure to ask Jim if there are any hidden fees and get it in writing or I'm sure he will add a fee onto your mortuary bill . Very, very poor business practice. I would have given them 0 stars - but it makes you put up at least one!

Saw my grandpa come around the corner swinging from a bulldozer a few years ago, and now go and see this right before the storm.
