Goodwill Store

I have been going to the Goodwill in Standale since it opened. I enjoy going there. The managers are very nice and knowledgeable. The workers are very nice and willing to help. Many a time I have asked what they think of a shirt, skirt, and even pictures for my walls. A few days ago I was there shopping and found a very nice tray with a bird on it. I was done shopping. I was towards the back of the store and the young lady that was on register was handed up front from the back . I told her I was ready to check out and she said she would met me at the register. She walked up to her register a little faster than me. As I was going up to the register a lady walked in the door and quickly to the register. I was a few steps from her with the cart in front of me. The young lady at the register politely explained to her that I was next in line. The lady in a not so friendly voice said she was there first. Then she wanted to know how the register worker know I was next. Before the worker could explain that she and I walked from that back to the front after me saying I was ready to go to check me out, the lady forcefully stated that she wanted to talk to a Manger. Myself and the worker both said to her that the worker would be happy to help her. I explained to the lady that I had plenty of time and she could go ahead. I had one thing so I didn't mind waiting. The worker started to help her and the lady said no and she wanted the manager and she could help me. The worker called for the manager and checked me out. It took maybe 2 minutes to check me out. I am sorry that I did not stay to tell my side of what happened. I shop many Goodwill stores all over Michigan and still my GO TO STORE is the Goodwill in Standale.

Great items. Staff is really nice to me. I prefer this one compared to my other one I used to go to. Nice selection of clothes. Cute holiday things…I got a brand new coat for cheap that looks nice. If I was rich, I would still shop at GW. 😉 They have a bit of everything.

I really like this Goodwill. They have a mixture of new and old things. My daughter and I were able to get a few named brand clothes from here. Pretty cool.

Goodwill? More like GREATwill! This place was fantastic. I've been to a lot of locations and this one a little North of Grand Rapids blew me out of the park. Great prices, great staff, and we found everything we were looking for and more. Also the bathrooms were amazing. We will be returning to this location again!

You can always find a treasure at Any Goodwill store...the stores in Grand Rapids let you collect reward points for $ off your purchase or you get a discount.

This Goodwill is amazing! Compared to some of the other ones, like Allendale and Coopersville.. it blows them out of the water. There isn't a bunch of grubby stuff here with rips, stains, etc. I mean you still have to be careful but it's laid out so much better and their sections for everything are huge. You won't leave empty-handed here.

Love to shop at Goodwill. I shop there multiple times a week (multiple locations). You never know what you may find. But, if you find a treasure you better grab it or it will be gone next time you are there! That is why you should shop often. The storea are always clean and have friendly employees. When you are a regular they know you and call you by name. After spending (in grand rapids stores only..but ottawa county or Lansing area stores have other specials) $100 you get $5 in free merchandise! And this keeps going and going..you also get other coupons in email or text. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I used to not like to shop but I do now. They have named brand clothes some with tags still attached. Hope you enjoy them as much as me!

Great customer service and a wide selection of clothing for the whole family at a price I can afford. Also lots if unique housewares and used furniture at incredibly low prices. So low, I am able to donate every time I go in...and I'm sure every dollar helps our community.

Bathrooms are accessible with good parking. Goodwill is very organized and the staff are very nice. They pretty much have everything you need and are very safe during these times. I highly recommend.

I love shopping here. Almost always find what I'm looking for. This store is always clean, all the associates are friendly. I like the fact that everything is sized sure there are things out of place but someone probably changes their mind and just sticks it somewhere.

Clean. Large selection of new items as well. Friendly employees and very organized. One of the best second hand stores I've ever been too.

Lake MI is one of my favorite goodwills. It's a bit out of my way but I make a special trip about once a month because they have the best stuff.
