Gray Laundromat & Beaches Tanning Salon

I have not used the Beaches Tanning Salon so I can't review that at this time. I have used the laundromat quite a few times in the past. I can say that the place is clean and we'll maintained. I mostly use the laundromat for my big bulky items that I can't do in my washer at home. I take all my comforters here to get cleaned. All the attendents that have dealt with have been very nice and helpful. When I wash the comforters, I like that the attendents lend a hand and suggest how much soap and which machine is best for the size of the comforter. I was told to use the largest machine despite she said another machine could do it. She said it's best to use their largest machine to allow the comforter to get a better tumble and more room to be flipped around. She also made suggestions of how many little boxes of soap it would take. They have a vending machine with single use soaps, conditioners and dryer sheets there. The machines only take quarters and they have a bill changer and little tubs to put all your quarters in. There are chairs and a TV to watch while you wait. There are some baskets with wheels to use moving your laundry. There are tables for folding with rack to hang clothes. If you are looking to go tanning, you go in the same entrance for the laundromat and go all the way down past the dryers and thru another door to the tanning salon. Each time I go there seems to be quite a few people coming in and out checking there laundry however I didn't have any trouble getting a washer or dryer to do my comforters. The attendents made suggestions on how long it might take to dry my loads and an idea on how many quarters it might take. There is a subway a few doors down in the same building to get something to eat while you do your laundry. I do recommend the laundromat as I didn't use the tanning salon.

An excellent 'get out of the house and do something productive' destination. Drop in to Beaches, when the sun is around less than you like.

So clean and bright. If you need to use a laundromat, I highly recommend driving here. Attendant is knowledgeable and very helpful.

I go to the tanning here which it's amazing it's a really clean cute little spot they have loud music && there's usually no wait time because they 3 stand up booths && one lay down bed.

We are RVers and have been to many Laundromats across the United States. This place, while clean, is the worst place for people like us. VERY PRICEY! To add insult to this, the washers do not spin your clothes very dry, definitely below standards. Of course, this means you will have to spend more on the dryers, which barely get hot! Wash price is $4 to $7.25, $.50 more if you want warm wash, $1.00 more for hot wash! So a large washer warm is $7.75, and again, the machines do not spin dry very well. Dryers are small $.25 for 5 minutes and large are $.25 for 3 minutes. Save your money and go to a different place!

But today my wife finished with the wash , put clothes I dryer with $2 worth of coins and a man kicked her out. She barely had time to pull all the wet clothes out when she was pushed out the door as he locked it.. extremely rude. I think the owner needs to apologize and refund her $2 . Then make sure the employees are trained to respect the elde t ly and disabld customers who have helped keep your business thriving.
I don't think we'll be spending any more money there.

Met with abject hostility by manager. Pricey, and coin operated, so be prepared to put on 36 quarters one at a time for a large easy load.

Disappointed that I arrived just before 7:30 to get a 9 minute tan and was declined. ?? If you arrive before 7:30 you should allow people to get a tan if you close the tanning at 7:30 and they make it before 7:30 if that's what you advertise.
The person would still be out before your closing. After paying for it and driving over half an hour kind of sucks.
