The hospital was extremely busy and some things fell between the cracks.
They put up with grumpy old me. The coronary division was first class and
I cannot say enough good about them. The overall staff was exceptional as well.
I want to thank everyone at McLaren for your help. Not perfect, but thankful as can be for all of you.

Everyone here is kind and helpful. It's been a long time since I have been treated this well at a medical practice!

I still have my husband and it was thanks to Dr.Reddy and in 2005 my husband was giving only 6 mobths to be here with us and thank God we still have him.

Dr. Skaf is a wonderful cardiologist. He is knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate.

Friendly staff, checked in right away and was called in at a good time. Nurse and back lab crew very nice and understanding. Clean areas. Doctor explained test results and answered all questions.

For about a year and a half I've been a patient of Dr. Skaf. I'm quite happy with this guy and his professionalism. I believe he is very good at this and would recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist.
I've read some of the comments about the front office staff... I can't comment as I've not had a whole lot of interaction with them. I think if you've had a bad experience... take it up with their supervisor.
My one issue is the office mask policy at this time... it should only be optional, not mandatory.

Had an office appointment and was told I needed a procedure. Office pushed to have it done there, but insurance forces me to have it done at the hospital. I called a week after original appointment to see why I haven't heard from the hospital regarding scheduling and they stated there was no order, that they would request Dr. Tumma for order (which should have been handled day of original appt. a week prior). Next day I called scheduling at the hospital and they still had not received an order. I once again called the office and was told that Dr. Tumma still had not written the order even though it was put through as a "Time Sensitive". I have to wait to have my surgery until I have clearance from Dr. Tumma. This is ridiculous!!!

Finally all taken care of.

Love the doctors but the wait time for an appt is too long and the phone system is ridiculous. Way tooo long on hold.

Dr. Tumma Makes me feel like I’m a number in his computer. He’s very judgmental and rude. During my three month visit he got irritated because I forgot a list of my medication‘s. I’ve been seeing him for almost 4 years. All of my medication‘s are in the computer. He abruptly , mid conversation walked out of the room and did not return. I sat there and waited for him to return and realized that he was not coming back to the room, so I ended up leaving. it was extremely alarming and unprofessional.

They are the only Cardiology place in the area without driving a distance.
The NP for Dr. Tumma is very irritating. She is condescending and rude. You question her or say something opposing and she gives you attitude about it. She is very unprofessional.
We hating having to deal with her and because of her we will not return. We'd rather drive elsewhere.
She has no good bedside manner. And knowing people have anxiety she just amps you up saying this test, and this test, etc. Then the Dr. comes in and orders half of what she said was needed. Why put people through that un-needed stress. Advice....LISTEN and try to understand your patients. Don't just treat them like they don't matter or that they are just a dollar. Dr. Tumma hold fire her.
