I had two packages showing as delivered based on the tracking numbers, but they weren’t in my mailbox (I live in an apartment complex). I suspected that they were put in the wrong mailbox, and called the post office the next day around noon. Lisa was very friendly and helpful, and echoed my suspicion that it was probably just in the wrong mailbox, since she could see on her end that the packages had been scanned in the correct area. She immediately notified the carrier, who corrected the issue in a timely manner. Excellent, warm, and kind customer service.

I gave this location a five star only because of Lisa. I've had issues with my mail, Covid has made things much worse. When my regular carrier is out....because let's face it your mail carrier is a human person with human problems and sometimes has to take a day off.... is when I generally have issues, understandable somewhat. No matter what problems I've ran into Lisa has always fixed it she goes above and beyond and I truly want to let her know she's appreciated... my normal carrier is pretty awesome also :-)

As a former Postal Worker, I have seen the abuse that some customers give these workers. I have seen a carrier lay in the front yard of a customer where she slipped on ice
and fractor her hip. The customer whom was home never came to check on her. Not even when there were about to hit her mail truck. So before you off about your mail carrier, ask them what they have to put up with everyday.

Because I have changed my address and I still don't receive my mail there I changed it 5 to 7 times

Marking my items as delivered but never delivered. Losing valuable packages in transit. Just a couple of the things I have experienced recently with USPS in Jackson. This is awful. I'm out nearly $200 because of the mistakes at USPS this year alone. If you have other places to use for shipping I would highly recommend using them over USPS. Customer service is impossible as well.

Why are 3 of my packages arriving in Detroit and being sent here in Jackson in the county where I live then sent back to Detroit then back here to Jackson to get delivered???? Something isn't right about that?

Absolutely horrible experience. Even worse customer service. I had to get the Jackson county sheriff involved to actually get any help. Mr Ransom deserves to be fired. Cussing at customers, lying to customers and then refusing to even answer the phone after he hung up on me. Then hides when I go in to try to get answers. Absolutely worthless!!!

You can never get ahold of anyone so calling is pointless. They’ll claim they can’t deliver your mail due to not being able to access your location which isn’t true. Would give 0 stars if I could. Deplorable customer service

Absolute joke, had a package supposed to be delivered today that I needed to fix my vehicle but instead of it coming to my house it was sent back to distribution center in Detroit after just coming from there yesterday. This place needs to be audited by usps higher ups badly

I followed the tracking for my package on the day it was to be delivered. I was right outside when it was supposedly tried to be delivered. I have no fence or dog and my house is just less than 100 ft. from the road. The time that was reported was 5:07 pm. Never seen a mail truck and no package was delivered or note left. Called post office. After being on hold for 1 hour and 47 minutes. I was told it would be out tomorrow in the mail..good luck with that. My mailman comes anywhere from 3 to 8:00 at night. I even seen him come last week with his inside truck light on cause it was so late. People pay to receive items 2 days not 4 days. And they wonder why other mail services are so busy and taking away business.

My package tracking number stated it arrived at the Jackson post office from the Detroit Distribution Center 16 days ago and hasn’t moved since. I don’t understand why it was sent to Jackson as my mail is normally routed to the Howell branch. Tried calling Jackson P.O. several times but no one picked up. Also submitted a Service Request online three days ago but have not heard from anyone yet. USPS management should be embarrassed by the poor level service they provide. This incompetence will only improve when the USPS is privatized and employees are held accountable. I also have experienced long term delivery issues from the Howell branch but at least they pick up the phone when called.

Ordered with two day shipping. There's no extreme weather or mitigating circumstances delaying the mail. Package arrived day 3 at their facility. It sat there for a whole day before being checked in. When it was finally checked in, carriers had left for their routes for the day. I needed that package by today. I offered to pick it up. They told me it was mixed in a pallet and no one was willing to look for it, but the good news is my two day shipping would finally be delivered sometime on day 5. Utterly useless by then.

Twice in the last couple of months I've put small padded envelopes into the mailbox at the Jackson Distribution Center (1500 N Elm Ave) and they have been put aside and not scanned into the system for a week or more. The last time I posted them on March 21 and they weren't shipped until March 31. I'm afraid to use this mailbox!

My mail carrier does not deliver all my mail. She stated she wouldn't deliver my mail if my name wasn't on my mailbox. That's only for apartments. She gives mail to children that are in my yard, whether they live here or not. She has given mail to my neighbor, who doesn't even live in the 320s, but the 310s. Extremely fed up. They will NOT answer their phone either to take my complaint. I feel like I am talking to a wall!

Our mail person delivers our mail to the wrong house, has been for 2 YEARS and Chery Bell claims she has no idea what is going on and then sends us letters with a contact number that is DISCONNECTED!! We pay extra shipping on items if they have the ability to go fedex or UPS. These are the most incompetent group of people I have ever seen, and I worked in retail for years! We are at our wits end trying to get our mail and packages to our house!!!! This is MADDENING!

Same story as the rest. I could only assume that whoever was supposed to deliver my packages wanted to just be done with the work day and reported that they "attempted" to deliver the packages so they can go home, or the bar, the movies, a vacation, pretty much anywhere but to my address to deliver my packages. I was literally sitting 3 feet from my front door when the package was "attempted" to be delivered. Unless the postman was in an alternate universe whilst "attempting" to deliver my packages I would have to say the claim of "attempting" to deliver is a lie.
