Great trail. Beautiful vistas and well maintained. On Weekends it is very busy. Watch out for road bikers who go fast, often travel two abreast and do not warn of passing. Everyone else is great.

I love biking on this trail! The entire trail is paved which makes it great for using road bike. It is 17 miles long and features beautiful woodlands, cherry and grape orchards, and rolling hills in the distance. I try to bike here every summer during my annual Traverse City trip! Have made lots of good memories here.

Wonderful paved and marked trail through the beautiful countryside of Leelanau. Just be aware you will have to cross road but not heavily trafficked. The trailhead has air and tools to fix bikes, loved the ride! You can also take the Bike n Ride for $3 with BATA back to the trailhead if you go to Suttons Bay and don't want to ride back.

This trailhead has a decent number of parking spots that gets you just out of Traverse City and onto this paved trail. The trail takes you through wooded areas and farmland to Sutton Bay. There are a number of portable bathrooms which was nice to see along a trail.

Please don’t expect the cars to slow or stop for you. We saw someone crossing unexpectedly and there was a lot of honking and little braking.

Great access to trails. Ample parking and a pot-o-john. Wish there was water available.

A picture-esque well-maintained asphalt Trail with friendly people and interesting stops along the way. FYI Traverse City to Suttons Bay is uphill

Best trail and trailhead ever. Wish other cities would put in these type stations for bicyclists.

Excellent trail to ride bikes and walk. Well kept and really like the yellow lines being put down to define the trail. Favorite trail so far!

Didn't know I could review a trail. I have loved this trail for the past 20 years, there are always amazing new sights to see. While I'm a little sad they paved over all of the two track, I cannot complain that the entire 15.5 mile trail is paved. It was awesome walking the trail this weekend! Such a great way to reconnect with family.

Great trail - lots of activity but not too crowded and everyone was good about the rules of the trail - staying to the right if they are slower.

This trail is awesome. It's like a magical wilderness experience right in town. The folks that put this together had the right idea. Plenty of benches, signs and smooth level pathway. I was even able to fill my bike tire with one of the free air pumps.

This is a beautiful well cared for trail with rest areas and benches along the way. It is well wooded and just beautiful scenery. There is some parking close to the trailhead.

Comfortable ride, trail well maintained. Went to Suttons Bay, had lunch and rode back to the trailhead, @ a 26 mile round trip.

This trial has almost everything! What a great place, views, water, seating, and portable bathrooms. Going to bring my bike next time so we can see more.

Great bike ride past vineyards, apple orchards and hop growing out in the countryside. We had to cross several roads along the way.

Just a couple of us older guys longboarding the trail-way. It was a blast of an afternoon as we kicked from downtown TC along the west bay.
