The Grate Haus

Had a great experience working with The Grate House. They explained everything and were upfront with pricing when we visited their showroom. They installed our new insert, cleaned, sealed and repaired our chimney. They also sealed up our old clean outs that were falling apart , and cleaned up after themselves…all in one day. We have really enjoyed using our fireplace this winter, after not using it for the past 10 years.

Recently had a Pier, 3 sided direct vent fireplace installed at my home. The Grate Haus and their entire staff did an excellent job! I had an idea in mind with photos and met with Allyson at their office. A few days later the owner, Nathan- came out and went over the details. He was very thorough and professional. The scheduled completion date was a few weeks out. We ended up using the rough cut multi-color ledger stone. Dylan and Chase were on the install team. Everything was perfect. I really enjoyed speaking with Dylan and Chase as they were very personable and conscientious during the build. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship at every level. Superb worksite clean-up as well. Can't say enough good things about the entire project. It was their previous Google reviews that led me in their direction, I was not disappointed. Thank you.

We got our Hearthstone in October 2021 and have been so pleased with the purchase! Grate Haus was very informative. Patient with our decision making. And timely and professional with good communication every step of the way. The stove has been fantastic. Woke up to -9 degrees outside. Put it to work and kept the house 68° while using in approximately 800sq feet downstairs. Thank you Grate Haus!

Great customer service, when our house was built we had two gas fireplaces installed by the builder and they didn't come with blowers. So after a few winters we decided to get blowers installed and called The Grate Haus because they are local. They took care of us and ordered what we needed, when blowers were in the service guys came and installed. Very nice and professional this entire business is, so glad we called them. We are very happy with our blowers, they make a huge difference in the warmth now in the rooms. Very Satisfied!

The Grate Haus installed a Kuma wood stove for us. We love it! Nick and Johnny were very respectful and took pride in their work, which is hard to find anymore. We had a small issue and Nathan was very quick to help us resolve it. So glad they were recommended to us!!

Service was amazing! The tech called me when he was close to our house. The service was great. They were very knowledgeable, polite and thorough while fixing our gas fireplace. When they were done, the clean up was so good you couldn’t tell they had been here. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I purchased a wood stove from Grate Haus, including install. We could not be happier. The install crew was very professional and helpful, doing a very clean and high quality job. Communicating with them was easy, Allyson was great! We highly recommend!!

Excellent customer service! They returned calls and emails right away. Support staff were professional and friendly. Greg was a very knowledgible of pellet stoves. He was quick and thorough. The only complaint is that it took a long time to get something scheduled. I guess that's what happens when you're that good. I would absoulutly recommend them. My dogs are as happy as I am :)

If you are looking for a company to install your new fireplace look no further………“The Grate Haus” did a great job with the installation of our new fireplace (Heat & Glo Slimline 7x). Nathan the owner was very informative and helpful when it came to picking out a fireplace. Dylan and Nicholas did an outstanding job with the installation………pleasant and professional, detailed, excellent workmanship, very neat… respectful of our house putting on shoe covers and using tarps for floor protection. Have been enjoying the fireplace daily since the install.

After Grate Haus owner Nathan replaced our old wood burner in 2021 with a new catalyst burning stove it took awhile to adapt. At the beginning of the 2023 season the stove began to have difficulty drafting even though the entire system had been cleaned routinely each season. We contacted Grate Haus with our concerns and Nathan made a house call. Found out the catalyst was plugged and required a good cleaning. The stove is now drafting like it did when first installed, and we have added a new step to take in our stove cleaning routine. Thank you Nathan and Allison for your help and for standing behind your product and your installation. Outstanding customer service!

Very nice folks to work with. I had a chimney cap put on and they showed me photos of my cracked and crumbley crown, that needed to be replaced. The guys came out and worked hard all day and did a nice, professional job! Very satisfied and would highly recommend! Very friendly service...

Wow! Grate Haus did an exceptional job on our gas fireplaces. They have never looked so good! I don’t think they had ever been cleaned before and they were really dirty-we could hardly see through the glass. Their service was professional, prompt and courteous. An excellent job all around. I would highly recommend!

Was super pleased with the knowledge and service that both Nathan and his install team has. I was able to get the perfect stove and ash pad that fits my 1000 sq ft home. The process from start to finish was seamless.

Gas fireplaces need yearly service to maintain their efficiency. This is our 2nd time to use Grate Haus for maintenance on ours. Their service is outstanding & serviceman Keegan is excellent. Fireplace is spotless, looks & works like brand new again, and their rates are quite reasonable. Will definitely continue to use Grate Haus. Highly recommend to anyone with a gas fireplace to call them for service - request Keegan!

Greg came to service our existing Empire Boulevard linear fireplace. While not a brand they sell, he was able to address the issue. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

I wasn't very pleased with the guy that came and cleaned my chimney, but the folks that came and installed my gas fireplace made up for it and they did a great job. They were very respectful of property and answered all my questions and concerns. I am enjoying this gas fireplace insert so much.
