I’ll give them a 2 because frames came in when they said it would. Don’t bother with coming here. Save yourself the trouble. The upselling is borderline entertaining but past that, I got glasses in just to learn they are new “digital frames”. After I got the sales pitch on why these are great, I was told to try them for 5 days. They’re still terrible. Now I have to go back with prior glasses and start all over. The only reason I came to this location is because I hate shopping and I’m not a fan of trying frames on my big head. I wouldn’t recommend.

Edit* changing to 5 stars. The issue was my optometrist's office and transcribing the paperwork. After posting this review, they called and wanted to know the details and make it right. I dropped them off at a different store in Battle Creek. After showing the store that the original paperwork was incorrect, no questions were asked. Two weeks later, the glasses arrived corrected. Not sure you could ask for more.

I want to give an ultimate two thumbs up to Dr. Goodman and all the staff at Rx Opitical who were helpful, professional, friendly, and accommodating. My new prescription is perfect; I don't ever remember seeing better. And, my new frames look great! Thank you, look forward do doing business with you again when I need glasses next.

Excellent experience getting my daughter her first pair of glasses. Kaylee was so nice and helpful. Our whole family goes here for our glasses.

The Doctor was amazing . She was thorough, answered all my questions and explained everything so well to me. Then the staff was so helpful, knowledgeable, & fun. I was so impressed I called and got 2 of my grandchildren scheduled.

Jennifer was phenomenal from the start to the end she was focused on me and my care. It was obvious. She made me feel comfortable I. Every frame I tried on but was also integral in choosing the perfect frames. She went out of her way to make my experience perfect. This company should base their model on her.

The gull road team did a great job today. I had a conflict which came up and asked for a reschedule which they were able to accommodate even with the extremely long wait times for getting appointments. Everything else with the appointment went well and smoothly. Thanks to the team.

Lindsey was very sweet, helpful and easy-going to work with! She even got me some samples on top of what I came in for! One of the other girls working there went out of her way to make my daughter and I feel welcome as well, asking how our day was going, I felt very appreciated, it was so nice.

I wanted to write about my experience with my eye appt with RX on Gull Road...Dr Weller is awesome..and make me feel totally comfortable and was very knowledgeable and thorough. Jennifer helped me pick out my glasses and took my measurements for my glasses. She was THE BOMB!! I can't tell you how awesome she is! I had her help me last year...and I specifically made my appt around her schedule - just to make sure she could help me again this year. When you find someone THAT awesome...You don't go anywhere else! THANK YOU Jennifer...You made my experience incredible...as always!

Dr Weller & Staff were “Great” in helping me with my eye exam to fulfilling my new prescription glasses. I can now see again! Thank you. Highly recommend this staff & Gull Road location to anyone needing glasses. Excellent Customer Service.

These people who work at the RX optical on Gull road Kalamazoo are wonderful and very professional. I have moved to Lansing but I still come back because the atmosphere is so nice and professional. The ladies are wonderful all of them!!!

I had a bad string of luck getting an eye exam before my experience at RX Optical—Pearle Vision cancelled my appointment because I wasn’t sure whether I was going to purchase my glasses from them or not. Hiemstra Optical cancelled my appointment the day of.

I called the RX Optical call center in the morning and spoke to Susan, saying I wanted to schedule an appointment and if they could do it in the next few days. She said they are usually booking out two weeks in advance but they had a recent cancellation at the Gull Road office but it was in 20 minutes. I said I’d take it and she was able to contact them and make arrangements for it. She was so reassuring and helpful and committed to making it happen. Susan is definitely an asset. So I was already pleased with my RX experience after my call with her.

And then I got into the Gull Road office, somewhat frantic, and everyone there was so friendly. LeighAnn, Mary Ann, and Dr. Weller. Everyone was beyond helpful even though they were dealing with a system outage from the storm. Despite the last minute appointment, despite the system outage, they really made the whole process easy. It’s clear from my interactions across the board that RX has a culture of excellence and is committed to putting people at the center of their work. A lot of places say that, but RX walks the walk. You’ve gained a loyal customer!

Love this place! I come yearly and always have great experiences.The opticians are very good at conducting thorough, accurate exams. When they reopened recently with covid restrictions, I felt there were a few things that would make it more customer-friendly. I decided to share my comments on my customer experience with the new set up. I was amazed how much they cared about my suggestions. I went back a week later and could tell they listened. I had a great appointment and I now have so much respect for them as a business. I'm not used to big name stores valuing customer opinions so much. This has made my family loyal customers. A+ guys!

My Sister and I came to pick out glasses frames. There is a large selection of choices for Medicaid clients. I was very surprised! Also, the staff is very nice and attentive! This location is very COVID-19 savvy as well. The frames that are tried on are then set down on a table below each section to be cleaned and sanitized before another person comes into contact with them. When you enter the store there is hand sanitizer, masks, and a temperature check!

Ariel is amazing and Jennifer is just beyond awesome. I had such great care and service. Thank you for helping me during this transition with my glasses. You all rock.

Dr. Weller is amazing! This was my first time going here and Dr. Weller did a fantastic job of explaining everything he was doing during my eye exam, and what is findings were. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, and was so nice. Christie was also very helpful! Just all around awesome staff that truly show they care! I am very pleased and won't be going anywhere else!

I will NEVER go anywhere else!! The staff is absolutely the BEST!! The Doctor is great, he listens to what you are saying and truly makes the effort to fully understand. The staff goes out of their way to make your experience wonderful and they DO NOT fall short one bit!! This is about the Gull Road location ONLY though!! Other locations I have been to were not nearly as good.

Warm, kind, friendly: perfectly professional. Very knowledgeable staff is incredibly helpful. Doctors are patient and thorough during examination and consults. Support staff treat young and old, rich or poor, all races and backgrounds with respect and kindness. This should be obvious but rc optical stands out from all eye care I have recieved over the years. I appreciate their time very much.

I was traveling with my son for a baseball tournament and Saturday morning before the game he tore his only set of contacts. I verified the prescription with them and they double verified it with his local optometrist. The staff was so friendly and caring. They ended up giving him a new set of contacts, case, and solution, FREE!!! An unheard of in todays day! Thanks so much! I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

I'm a paramedic. This morning, when I got to work I lost a screw in my glasses. I didn't have anything to repair it myself and I couldn't see to do it. I stopped by the RX Optical on Gull Rd. I was in and out within 5min. No charge. Amazing fast service. Thank you.
