Outstanding service for the entire time Mike has been in business -- we followed him when he left his mechanic position in South Lansing and opened his own shop.
I don't remember who originally recommended that we utilize Mike's services, but it was about 21 years ago and the guy was right: Mike is terrific.
Mike has cared for our cars over the past 20+ years, and now he cares for our kids' cars as well.
Mike is careful, smart, detail-oriented, personable, and honest.
I fully trust him with my cars, my kids, my dog... Mike is the best.

Mike is wonderful, he is super knowledgeable and responsive. He diagnosed our car’s problem simply by my description over the phone and suggested we check the oil. We won’t be taking our vehicles anywhere else and would recommend him to anyone! Thank you for all you do!

been here many times over the years for various repairs. always good, reliable service. my most recent, I had a wheel bearing replaced. this is an expensive job no matter where you go

most of the expense is in the part, and yet their pricing for the job was very competitive if not cheaper than some other shops. and they do a variety of work, not just one specific type. good place to go!

Mike's is a great place always fast and friendly service, reasonably priced. Mike is always ready to help and he will let you know if he cannot help. He is a very honest and trustworthy person. Even the LPD and Sheriff's office use Mike's for vehicle repairs. 👍👍👍 I'd give Mike's a 10 out of 10. 😊

Best experience ever with an auto shop! Submitted an email regarding my needs (I have two vehicles both over 10 years old and both imports but I maintain and plan to keep them as long as possible). Mike contacted me promptly and we discussed what he could do and what he recommended based on my information. I scheduled an appointment and even showed up early, and Mike was all ready to get things going for me. The estimated cost and time to complete the work was more than fair. The work was completed in time and the costs were even less than I anticipated!

It was so refreshing to deal with honest, dependable knowledgeable, professional people at an auto shop! i never got that uneasy feeling that I was being taken advantage of and I plan to bring both of my vehicles to Mike as long as he lets me! I've been going to Mike regarding my auto troubles for years. Each time, he has offered me guidance on the best route to repair. He has never tried to upsell me and has fixed every issue without fail and in a timely manner. His labor costs are fair, as well. I will continue to go to him in the future as long as he remains in business.

I have a VW Tigaun. Took it to Wiiliams Auto for a noise coming from my back left tire, Williams replaced the arm bar lever , $1200 later, noise still there. Come to find out it was the wheel barriers that needed to be replaced, called Williams for estimate, $1200. Then called Mike's Auto Care $600 .... If you have a foreign car that needs basic repairs...call Mike's....... Brian

We have taken our vehicles to Mike for the last 3 years. He has always been courteous, honest, helpful and fair in dealing with us. He truly wants to remedy our vehicle issue and not charge an arm and a leg like a lot of car dealers.

Mike was very honest and helpful. He didn't try to trick me into getting some elaborate repairs I didn't need. He was very straight forward and considerate. He knew I was in a crappy position and he helped get me what I needed to make it through at the lowest price possible. I would definitely go here again and reccomend it to others!

Honest! I was told I needed $1,000 worth of shocks and struts but took it to Mike for a second opinion. He actually said I didn't need any work done. This was a couple years ago and now he is my mechanic. Today I called early in the morning and left a message. He was overbooked but still got me in and took care of at a reasonable price.

I seriously will not take my car anywhere else. I had a junky car for a while and Mike was super honest with me every time something went wrong. He'd keep telling me he could fix the issue, but he consistently told me the car was a money pit. I could see he had my safety in mind. They go above and beyond here. This is a place you can trust without a doubt. :)

Got a same day appointment today. They addressed each issue I wanted looked at, and Mike gave me a call with an estimate (consistent with a quote 8 months prior) before they did any of the repairs. He gave me a good opinion to hold off on a fix and the car was done by late afternoon. I will be bringing my Galant in within a few months!

Mike and Lori understand the simple rule of honesty in business. A trustworthy mechanic is worth so much and I have sent everyone to them. Great work by great people!

Helpful, honest and straightforward. They work really hard to repair your vehicle in a timely fashion and communicate with you each step of the way, even when the outcome is not what you'd like to hear. I will definitely return in the future for any repairs.

Very helpful and friendly staff! They understood that I was driving my first car and were patient, let me know about a few issues and how promptly they ought to be dealt with instead of pressuring me to buy everything in one visit. It really feels like they care about their customers! I'll definitely be back in the future. :)

I had work done here on 2 vehicles in past years. Recently, I took a vehicle to another shop , thinking I had one problem, but found out that I had another. The problem I had was caused by a small error made at this shop over a year ago. I took the old part to Mike and explained what I had been told. I knew the repair was out of warranty, I , only wanted to let him know. Mike was apologetic AND wrote a check to cover my loss -even after I told him that it wasn't necessary.
THAT'S INTEGRITY !
All other repairs have been appropriate and priced fairly. I'll be back.
