New owners are AMAZING. Every since they took over the place has been so much better, food quality and service is great. Best diner in town.

Ordered a delivery breakfast via Uber eats and they wrote back on my box have a great day too and everything is delicious! It really made my morning and how sweet they were to accommodate my requests :)

Delicious!! Do yourself a favor and get the corn beef hash. Best I’ve ever had. I ordered a side of it (with my omelette and hash browns) because I was starving. I did NOT know how much food I would get, LOL.

Horrible weather but warm and friendly service! Great breakfast with friends in the side room. We'll definitely go back.

Are you looking for the soul of America? I am just asking because I feel I found it. When you first walk in, you are greeted by multiple servers all with smiles that reach their eyes. Water arrived at my table before I had had a chance to sit down. The menu quickly followed. I was not give a chance to peruse for too long before the server came by and commented on this being my first time to the restaurant. It only sounded like a question due to intonation, for it was obvious she already knew the answer. She proceeded to let me know what the best things in the menu were, what was not available, all with the grace of a southern belle. When confronted between the choice of corned beef or sausage, her soft “bless your heart” style comment let me know there was only one choice. Two gentlemen seated right after me were greeted as only long time regulars are. It was at that moment I realized I was the only person that was not a regular, and the restaurant was pretty full due to the lunch rush.

You go to a restaurant for the food, and I will say that it was excellent. Exactly what you would expect from an all American dinner. One that has not been sullied by conglomerate corporate takeovers. The prices reflect the state of the economy. You get what you pay for though. I don’t think I have felt this level of satisfaction from a restaurant experience in a long while.

Give them your patronage. This truly is a staple of Americana.

I love this coney. It's low key, always serves good food. I usually get breakfast. They do have breakfast specials and it's close enough to not have to worry about traveling far for some good coney

First of all I asked for crispy bacon to make it clear This was one of the best breakfast I have ever had.There's something special about these home fries.The eggs were cooked perfectly and it came with toast that was toasted perfectly.Thank you American Grille.

Service was very good considering there was only one lady who had over six tables. As soon as you walk through the door you're greeted by the server and owner or manager. Very good breakfast and was not expensive at all. Probably should charge more.

Literally the best food on DoorDash in the area. Always hot and always fresh. I almost cry every time I eat here because its that good. How do they deliver this type of consistency time after time again? Idk but other places need to figure it out because these people never miss. Always hot, fresh and good. I dont write reviews often but the quality and consistency here is something special.

This unassuming diner in an off-the-beaten path location is a real gem. Service was so friendly and quick and the food is exactly what you're expecting at a diner. Definitely one of the best diners/coney islands in the area.

Went in this morning. I've eaten at alot of restaurant's in my life. Some decent. Most so so. This place is PERFECT. We eat with our senses. In every respect the food far surpassed anything I would have expected. So much so I actually complimented the chef. Moe is the Truth. Check them out.

Both visits have been delicious!! There is a great breakfast special until 11am - $5.99 2 eggs, potatoes and meat. Their kitchen fries are sooooo good, they come with onion and green pepper and thr potatoes are perfect!!!!

Place is super cool, I’ve ordered there a couple times and their food is always on point. Today I ordered delivery and they wrote a thank you note on the box! Really made my morning!

A nice and cozy little spot to dine in or pick up. This was my 1st time dining here and I have noticed this restaurant off & on over the years but never even thought to stop in. It took my Pastor to usher me into this very friendly establishment. The waitress was nice & the staff are like family. This is a quiet, read your newspaper, momentary getaway from the craziness of anyone's day. Nice.👍🏿🙂

Good diner food. Real breakfast sausage links (not those terrible compressed things) and a decent waffle. Server was polite and accurate. Very clean restaurant. Easy peasy.
