When my daughter first dislocated her knee, we saw a couple different physical therapists in the area. She did not connect with any of the providers and would not do her exercises at home. Then we happened to book an appointment with Ryan at Peak Sports and Spine in Maple Valley and she immediately connected with him and the team. We have received tremendous support from the entire team, they are each wonderful, supportive and knowledgeable. Since starting, my daughter has had her knee, hip, ankle and shoulder worked on. The only reason she is able to get back to her sport so quickly after an injury, is because of the amazing team at Peak Sports and Spine in Maple Valley. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done my daughter, and now I'm starting to see them for MY shoulder injury I suffered from 2 years ago. It's taken me that long to get help, and already after just one session, I'm seeing improvement. I want to slap myself for not starting when my daughter did, otherwise I'd be back playing my sport too.

Kennedy, Cindy, Christian, and the whole staff were all amazing! I started physical therapy with Kennedy for a knee injury and after nine weeks of therapy I now refer to her as the Knee Whisperer! I’m happy to report that I am nearly injury/pain free!

The program she designed for me and the exercises she instructed me to do made all the difference in the world.

I am sincerely, appreciative and blessed!

My journey with Peak Sports and Spine in Maple Valley began in January 2023 under the most challenging of circumstances, suffering from a complex ankle fracture while playing flag football. This injury was severe, necessitating surgical intervention that left me with two metal rods and an astounding 23 pins and screws in my leg. It was a daunting start to the year, and undoubtedly one of the toughest periods I have ever endured, both physically and emotionally.

Two months post-surgery, I was introduced to Abby, my therapist, at a time when I was unable to even walk. From the moment I entered Peak Sports and Spine, I was greeted with a warmth and welcoming energy that was palpable. The radiant smile of Cindy at the front desk, a truly amazing soul, was the first sign of the compassionate care that this remarkable team extends to their patients. Cindy, along with all the therapists and staff, made an exceptional effort to create an environment that felt like a second home.

Abby, on my very first day, approached my injury with an unparalleled level of care, love, and professional insight. She had me complete a questionnaire to gauge my pain levels and my ability to perform daily tasks. This process was repeated monthly, allowing Abby to precisely track and evaluate my progress. Within approximately six weeks, I was walking again. It wasn’t a graceful performance initially, but the sheer joy of regaining my mobility so quickly was indescribable.

Over the following months, Abby dedicated herself to improving my walking form, meticulously addressing each minor detail. As an athlete, this level of precision was incredibly important to me. Abby demonstrated an extraordinary ability to not only focus on the physical aspects of my recovery but also to provide emotional support. She showed genuine interest in my life and was adept at diverting my attention from the difficult situation I was navigating. Simultaneously, she remained diligently attentive to my progress, skillfully communicating updates in a manner that was both positive and easy for me to understand.

Over the course of these six months, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Abby and the wonderful team at Peak Sports and Spine. The time I spent there, twice a week for an hour, will be greatly missed.

Reflecting on my experience, it was a journey that will forever be a part of me. I am humbled and profoundly grateful for the love, positivity, and professional expertise that everyone at Peak Sports and Spine, especially Abby, demonstrated throughout my recovery. Their unwavering support played an instrumental role in my quick and successful recovery.

If you find yourself in need of physical therapy and are uncertain about where to begin your journey to recovery, I wholeheartedly recommend Peak Sports and Spine in Maple Valley. Their exceptional care, dedication, and positive environment will undoubtedly aid in your healing process, just as it did mine.

All the staff here are amazing! They were able to get us an appointment within a couple days, have been so great to work with and are all so friendly! Ryan has done a wonderful job working with our daughter, after she dislocated both knee caps, encouraging her to keep going, providing the perfect exercises to strengthen the muscles, helping rebuild her confidence after such a crazy injury and being encouraging to her (and us) every step of the way! I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Abby is amazing! She knows her stuff and focused on the areas causing my sciatica. I left another facility because of lack of knowledge. Everyone should be going to Peak!!

I came in for a broken tibia and couldn’t be more pleased with my time at Peak! The whole team is amazing and so helpful with anything you need. I worked with Ryan mostly and he’s the best i’ve ever had, which i’ve had my fair share of physical therapists. Thank you so much for everything you guys do!

I came to Peak to fix my knee after an injury. They got me in very quickly. Had a positive, friendly, can do attitude. Used a very scientific/medical approach and explained their strategy in easy to understand terms. Followed through with consistent therapy and exercises, keeping me well-informed along the way. My knee was fixed within a few weeks and I am now ready to go skiing again. I would highly recommend. They were awesome to work with

Ryan is amazing. I met him in the Highlands branch and followed him to Maple Valley. He helped me before and after my rotator cuff surgery. He helped me head into surgery strong so that my recovery was super easy. He is a PhD physical therapist, super knowledgeable. Personable. You will enjoy going to physical therapy. And you will see results right away.
