Jeff and his team were incredible with our house sale. The write up on our house they did was so well done, and we sold really quickly. We had a total of 13 offers and 50 walk throughs in one week. My husband and I are relatively inexperienced buyers and Jeff, Danielle, and Nicole were patient and highly available as we looked for a new home. We were really uncertain what we wanted, and they were happy to show us tons of different options from major fixer-uppers to completed duplexes. They stuck with us until we found a perfect fit. Our new house is exactly in our price range in a safe neighborhood on the east side of Grand Rapids. We will definitely use them again.-- give them a call if you are on the fence. You won't regret it.

I had a terrible experience buying a Blahnik represented home. To start, I was interested in buying this house without a realtor. So I called their office and told them of the situation and that I would like the 3% commission to go towards the sale price of the home. The home had been listed for nearly a year with 0 offers.
After this initial discussion I followed up with his office for two months before finally reaching Mr. Blahnik on his cell phone. When I asked about all the ignored phone calls he said it must be an answering machine thing. This was clearly a lie so I confronted him about it and he said he would not be working with me without a realtor and he will assign me someone from his office who would take the commission. Anyone who can think for themselves knows you do not want two people from the same group representing you on a purchase of home. Because I had been looking for a home in this area for so long and limited options I called up a personal friend / realtor and decided to have him represent me. We were able to get things moving to the house which I made an offer within 10% of the asking price and the before Jeff took it to the buyer, he asked when "I was going to get serious." Mind you this house has been on the market for 1 year and had zero previous offers to this point. That generally how you think a professional real estate agent would act. I almost walked on principal at this point but luckily my good friend kept me into the deal. On top of this he inserted himself into the sale of my home by calling the buyers agent of my home to verify the offer that we had already provided him the agreement for. Which I'm sure violates all sorts of ethics standards. Despite a few other hiccups along the way we were able to close on the home. After closing we did have some questions regarding electronics that were missing and security codes that I have not received. To this point the Blahnik group has yet to answer a single question and I doubt has even followed up with the previous owner. Long story short his behavior almost cost the seller the deal, and as a buyer I would do anything possible to avoid working with them. And if you are looking to have the Blahnik Group represent you on a sale, just remember I called for 2 months trying to buy this home only to have my calls ignored.
