Kazumi Japanese Steakhouse

Great steakhouse. We live about 45 minutes away and have been planning to come here for some time for a special occasion. My girls loved the experience. The funny chicken that he tossed around had my daughter laughing hysterically. And the rice. Man I saw him add a lot of garlic to the rice and that must be key because it was delicious. I am going to try that at home for sure. My daughter said it's the best rice she ever had. Most places the soup and salad are iffy but it was pretty good here!

We had an amazing time and dinner! I got the Red Snapper and scallop Hibachi dinner, my husband got chicken and shrimp hibachi. You get plenty to eat, more than enough and the chefs were fun and talented. Amazing flavor and the seafood wasn't at all 'gamey' or fishy taste, was delicious. We will be back!

The Crab Rangoons are so delicious! Chicken pad Thai was spicy and flavorful. But the Rangoons were the real star of the show!

Food and service was great! My husband also ordered sushi and it was amazing! Can't wait to go back.

Great hibachi and sushi here. The staff are all great and the hibachi is entertaining. The regular dining area is nice if you don’t want the show and dinner with others and you can still order the hibachi plates along with other specials. They have Sunday specials and others during the week. Bathrooms are always clean.

I had a great time having dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, the food was very tasty and the servers were very friendly. Parking was easy and the price was right, so I definitely recommend this place! I had Crab Rangoon which was delicious, a salmon skin salad which I have never had before, miso soup, desert like a fried cake and some sushi, believe it or not, but it was less than $35!

We are really glad to have Kazumi as a local dining option. Staff are friendly and helpful. Choice of hibachi or dining room, as well as sushi bar. The dining room is a nice calm vibe with a warm ambience. If you choose hibachi, be prepared for an exciting, loud display!

We’ve enjoyed the entertainment of the hibachi, and the skillfully prepared entrees. Lots of options for proteins. Extensive sushi rolls and sashimi as well.

I always get the BBQ squid. It’s perfectly charred with a sweet savory sauce. The pieces of squid are beautifully displayed, juicy and tender.

Today I enjoyed the green dragon roll. The crunchy tempura lobster combined with the spicy crab salad and avocado made for a flavorful bite with complementary creamy and crunchy textures.

I come here every year for my birthday for the past 9 years or so, I gotta say this is the best restaurant in Muskegon. The food is absolutely top tier and watching the hibachi is so fun! Love this place!!!

This place has always been fun to go to. Since Covid started I’ve gone 3 times for take out. I’ve been super impressed. Most of it comes in a sturdy container with dividers. The soup is so good. They salad is just like when you go in person. I’m the food was delicious... maybe even better because the cook was not putting in a show while cooking.
Update: we went and sat on the non hibachi side and had just as much fun. You can still order the hibachi dinner but it’s not cooked in front of you. They have lots of other food options that were delicious. I forget they have sushi… and sooo many options. And the hot sake is delicious.

This place isn't just a restaurant- IT'S AN EXPERIENCE!!! This spacious restaurant offers so much to western Michigan. Top notch customer service, amazing hosts, servers, and cooks. A wide variety of foods and their menu offers somthing for everyone. The cooks made me smile and laugh but THE TASTE IS OUTTA THIS WORLD! YOU MUST TRY THIS HABACHI

Enjoyed lunch with my son for his birthday. It wasn’t very busy. The service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed lunch sushi specials and chicken hibachi.

This place is AMAZING! I cannot stress this enough.

My friend and I were spending the day in Muskegon when she said I should pick a place to go for my birthday dinner. I told her sushi is always on my mind but I didn't have any idea of places in the area. Luckily being a local guide helped me out and it gave me a notification of other local guides recommendations for the area. I quickly found this place and suggested it to her.

I cannot explain how delicious their sushi is here. I want one closer to home!

We ordered the crispy spicy, east meets west, out of control and Muskegon roll. They were all great but the crispy spicy and east meets west were to die for!!!

Best hibachi grill on the West Coast of Michigan!!! Chef's are fun and entertaining for all ages. We dine here once a month. Sushi is always on point.

We got mostly sushi and a little bit of hibatchi. We were very happy with the service and cleanliness of the restaurant, although it was a little dark. The food, however was amazing, excluding the salad dressing, which was little watery. The restrooms were a little messy, but nothing to be worried about.

We sat at the hibachi. Our chef had great cooking and showmanship. Everything was delicious.

Delicious food. If you choose hibachi (grilled meat), someone will cook in front of you - it is a great show! Hibachis come with very good fried rice, noodles and veggies, grilled as well. Sushi rolls are great too. Eventhough restaurant was full, food came fast.

Everything was very good and the serving sizes were great. I got the steak and shrimp and it was worth it. The noodles are good too.

The sushi is always delish!!! Love stopping in for a quick lunch. The grill side is a must to try! It's definitely a fun experience if you haven't been here before.

We reserved a table for 8 where they cook your food in front of you. It was a cool experience. It's a little pricey but there is enough to take home to eat the next day. Food was good.

The minute I walked in to this restaurant, I immediately wanted to stay. The waitresses and chefs knew more Japanese than English but that is what was so interesting. The chef had a smile on his face when interacting with his customers, laughed and had fun along with us. The food was even made perfectely. Nothing but 5 stars could describe this restaurant. Great food, great service, great entertainment, and a great place.
