This was our 4th year in a row camping at Moose Hillock. We typically camp in the fall for the feast of Sukkot, although we have also camped in the summer so we could check out the massive pirate ship pool. We always have a great time. The facilities are extremely well maintained, the people are super nice, and the campground is peaceful. In the fall when there are less people camping, they space out campers, so you really get wilderness vibes, and its amazing. At night its quiet, dark, and tranquil. A few years ago we had a site for 10 days and unfortunately, it rained most of the trip. Our site was at the end of the road and the drainage would have been fine if we just had our popup, but we also had a tent and it wasn't great. I mentioned this when booking our site this year and they move us to a completely dry location with a spectacular view of the brook. Also, Joe who runs the place, went out of his way to let us use the pavilion for our bible study since it was pouring rain out, and even joined us! Honestly, I've never camped at a place so dedicated to making sure you have a good stay with them. We will most certainly be back.

We had a great time at this campground. We stayed for a week with friends and family. The tent site we had was beautiful and spacious. It was covered with trees and had a beautiful creek right behind us. The price for the sites includes 2 adults and 3 children. Each additional person is charged $18/day. There are so many fun things to do and the pool is absolutely beautiful. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful also. There wasn’t great cell phone service but isn’t that part of the camping experience? We hope to make this a tradition and come back every year. Thank you for a great vacation.

Good sized campsites. Some privacy between sites. On-site camp store and snack bar near the pool. Great heated pool, the kids love. Two different sized slides. Theme nights and activities throughout the week.

Laundry facilities are available but somewhat unreliable unless you download an app. Doing laundry used to be easy and straightforward. Now, you have to download an app and understand computer error codes. The machines will take coins, but not reliably, and you have to download an app to get a number to call to get your money back.

You can rent a golf cart to get you around. Our site was about 1/4 of a mile to showers and about 3/4 to pool and store. You can also rent private cabanas poolside.

Overall, very nice facility. They have a sister facility in Lake George. We've been to both. We think the LG facility and pool is a bit bigger, but both are nice.

This campground is fantastic. The property is beautiful. My family hiked the property and it abuts the national forest. My kids had a blast swimming in the streams and natural pools. Joe the owner is a great person and does a fabulous job around the campground. They are short staffed so he has to do everything. We would see him working from 7am to well past 11pm. And everytime we saw him he would stop and chat with us and say how thankful he was the we chose his campground. My family loved this place and is by far the best campground we have been to.
We will definitely be going back.

This is a fabulous campground at the foothills of the White Mountains.
Plenty of spacious campsites with a huge outdoor heated pool and a fabulous staff.

Absolutely no wifi or cell service, at least on the sites we have camped on, so it's perfect for disconnecting.
There is wifi at the camp store and by the pool but otherwise none.

This campground is one of our favorites in NH.

However, I do not like the added fees such as an "impact fee" or the "site lock fee". Just extra charges that drive up the price unnecessarily.

Great place to bring kids. The pool and two water slides are fun, one being better for older kids, and one being smaller for the little ones. The camp store is also full of little goodies and toys that are good for children. However, outside the resort there isn’t much else to do around.

I will say this is one of the best campgrounds the kids love the pool and pirateship. I also see a couple bad reviews and as a business owner I know how much reviews can portray the wrong image I will say pricing is right in line with other campgrounds we go to the staff is always smiling and very friendly they have great amenities. Don’t base on negative minded reviews.

MAN!!! This place was amazing. By far the best camping ground I've been to yet. 1st off, hats off to the staff, and the owner Joe personally. There were some issues and he took care of them personally. I read reviews before I went and definitely some Karen's in the reviews. Its camping not a hotel. Don't know if they did this on purpose, or just ended up being the case, but most sites had a canopy of trees, so even if it was raining, you could still sit by the fire and not get soaked. Pool was HUGE and very clean for that size. A bit pricey for a camping ground, BUT for the service we received, it was WELL WORTH IT! I don't usually go to same camping ground twice, but definitely might have to go again. If you want to see pics and videos check my Facebook Emmanuel Ripley.

I love this camp ground and we go every year. I don't know why everyone has problems with this place. It's a perfect place for family time and not a four star hotel. It's camping people! Camping isn't suppose to be the cleanest and yes the bathrooms can be gross but tell the staff instead of making a big deal about it. Also yes the WIFI is the greatest nor the signal but it's near the white mountains and it's hard for them to get the wifi to certain areas. Go to the office to use it! Like I said, it's camping! If it was back in the 1980's or earlier years, there wouldn't be wifi. We had no problems with contacting people because we went to the office to do it. If you have a problem with getting some exercise by walking some hills or trails to the pool, get a golf cart or simple, just get over yourself. Get a closer site and or a bike. We weren't close to the pool but still walked it. A lot of you are just so lazy and whinny about everything. This park is amazing and they offer a lot for your kids. The park isn't responsible for your laziness or your problems and if you have health problems, them get a closer camp spot early in the year before summer comes. Plan ahead like me and my family did. If this was regular camping with no pool, it would be more work. Anyways to wrap it up, me and my family are going back this year and we are impressed besides kids screaming at 6 am but otherwise that, we are coming back. Thank you to the owners to this amazing park and their amazing son that always helps with a lot for everything. We will see you guys again very soon for fun and to talk again. This campground is worth the money! No complaints!

I have to give this place 5 stars for the staff alone. I admit, I was nervous for our camping trip here because of some of the negative reviews and a less than friendly phone exchange that I had with a woman working at the camp store prior to our visit. I was very happy with how our trip turned out though!

We are tent campers with young children, so finding the balance between peaceful camping and amenities can be tricky, but the staff helped make our hopes possible. We spent our first night in a tent site very close to sites with hookups, so lights were very bright, people were very loud, and the traffic was a lot for us to relax and feel safe with our kids playing. We asked to change to a more primitive location and the staff agreed. My husband and I began packing up, but a bunch of staff members drove out to our site to help us break down camp and move it to our new site! I was absolutely floored by the generosity! I know they were trying to hurry on their end, but it was still so incredibly kind and helpful. Every time I saw them throughout our stay, they waved, asked if we needed anything, and offered help for whatever.

The pool was great. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The camp store is very limited, but we were prepared so that didn’t bother us. Their coffee is DELICIOUS. The trails were easy little walks, great for very young children. My kids loved the playground. I wouldn’t say it’s much of a bike friendly campground because of the hills, but some older kids could handle it and seemed to be having a blast. No service for Verizon users, as other reviewers have mentioned. Very, very spacious sites with cool boulder fire pits.

One of the downsides though, is no formal dishwashing stations, but not a total dealbreaker. Be prepared to be clean with your food and trash and lock your coolers and food items in your car overnight. Luckily we did, but our neighbors did not and had a bear tear into their food and drool all over their stuff. But that’s not within the campground’s control.

It was a great stay for our family and we will absolutely be back next season.

Went in August 2022, the campsite was huge, private, and spotless! Plenty of room to back my 33 foot toy hauler in. The employees were very friendly and helpful, the store has all the necessities if you forgot anything. The pool is amazing with water slides and movies..
I gave 5 stars but if I had to complain about anything they only had movie night during the week and not on weekends for some reason, golf cart rentals are expensive at just under $100 a day but that's everywhere.. I will return next year for sure and bringing family witty their campers..

Our family had a great week at this campground. The campsite was spacious like being in the woods but not. If that makes any sense . Pool was awesome. Many friendly people but not overly crowded. No phone service except up by the office with wifi password but being unplugged wasn't so bad. The owner was a very nice family oriented gentleman. We traveled about 4 hours to get here. We will return and recommend this place to our friends.

Spent a week and had the absolute BEST TIME. The staff is amazing and kind. Prices were very reasonable. We were able to enjoy a movie night in the pool, a juggling act, local activities, bike riding around the campground. The bathrooms/showers were kept clean. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and are looking forward to returning asap.

We have been going to Moose Hillock for many many years! Yes. We have seen bears. In fact this year there were two baby cubs the Mom left them. The owner works with fish and game to insure everyone's safety. We have to remember we are invading their space. The sites are always clean and spacious. The Staff is amazing always pleasant, always wave when they go by on the golf carts. The bathrooms, grounds, pool, game room and gift shop are always clean! Yes, there are church services (make your own choice to go or not)! Candy bar bingo, dance parties and so much more, its an amazing family campground! We have made many memories for the past 16 years at Moose Hillock in Warren NH.

I had mechanical issues with my pop up camper after arriving at our site. Ed, an employee at the resort, saved our trip. He figured out the issue with the camper, and we were able to stay for our allotted days after getting the camper raised. He also collapsed it safely for our ride home. He wouldn’t take any payment for his mechanical work. A true gentleman. The resort itself was great fun, good pool and great towns all around. Recommend!

We just finished our second trip of year six. MH was the first campground we tried and I will Never go anywhere else. Our older kids can take the smaller ones to the park or for walks safety, and older hang out alone by the poolbar while Drying our bathing suits in am. Sites are huge and private, even more so up the hill and not so close to the pool. Cell service is not an issue for use, we (well maybe not my teens😂) love unplugging and having family time. There are definitely bears, being so close to White mountain national forest. It's literally bear country. It's their land, and we aren't afraid. They don't bother u anyway, are just looking for food. The owner and all the staff are insanely nice and willing to accommodate requests. Yes the pool bar food is pricey, as is any fast food at outings. Dollar general is ten minutes away for anything needed, and Walmart about 30 min. My kids talk about going back all year, we already have our two trips for 2023 reserved!
