Hidden gem in the northwoods. Solid patio seating with plenty of fresh air (diner style inside if mosquitoes bug you), thorough menu with lots of breakfast choices. Excellent selection of baked goods. Bonus stars for staff attention to Covid and social distancing. You feel safe.

5 stars for sure for great service, location, and food. None of the following notes should take away but could be important for your visit:

1. Internet (3ish mbs) is satisfactory for casual work. If you need to eat some data, still might want to head to Grand Rapids. Tip: Both breweries are running +50mbs.
2. Creamer options are dairy only. If seeking oat/coconut/soy/etc options, be sure to bring your own.

Great place for lunch. My BLT and fries were great. Becky's table service was attentive and friendly. We had a dining room to ourselves.

Such a cute place to eat far away up north! We had a wedding nearby so we went eating Pine Cone several times over the weekend, because we are in deep neck of the woods? So not much of options around. On a Sunday with a big group for breakfast to wrap up the weekend before hitting the roads back to Twin Cities, the waitresses and the owner did a wonderful job hustling our orders and very friendly employees!

Another thing is, we are deaf and not once there's a communication barrier with them, like we usually have with hearing people on daily basis. I think they were overwhelmed, but they got hang of it! ☺

I've dined at the Pine Cone several times over the years and the food is always well-presented and delicious. This morning I ordered the French Toast w/bacon and it didn't disappoint, perfectly prepared and lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar on a plate that didn't show any fingerprints from the kitchen. It's the little things that matter.

Just before closing I stopped back for a late lunch. The 1/3lb cheeseburger came with a generous side of chips, pickles and the raw onions I requested. They were quick to refill my ice tea as well.

They have a friendly & engaging staff that always seem to be cleaning the tables, chairs, floors and countertops. The dining area is peppered with interesting hometown bling and there's an outside dining area for the folks that enjoy our clean Northwoods air.

While up north for the past 5 summers The Pine Cone has become a favorite stop. Everything from breakfast to great soups and taco salads.

Went for breakfast and it was delicious! Brought back cinnamon rolls for the rest of our family at the resort we were staying at, they were a big hit! Wanted to go back for ice cream and lunch, but ran out of time. We’ll definitely be back next summer!

Great food for great price! Staff is super friendly and do a excellent job! Very clean, Highly recommended. Drive is super fun also coming from the south. Definately be back. Great place to stop for a ice cream treat also.

Great little place with yummy food and friendly service!! I went twice with my family over the holiday weekend, the staff was very patient with the toddlers and extremely accommodating to all requests. The Deli Delight sandwich truly was a delight!!

My husband and I went camping in scenic state park for 4th of July weekend. We ventured out to Marvell for breakfast in the morning and found Pine Cone. Absolutely charming restaurant with beautiful decor and flowers, big patio, excellent service and tasty food. A must visit while you are in the area!!

Great place for breakfast or lunch if you're in the Marcell area. Friendly attentive service along with great food makes our favorite breakfast place in this part of the state.

A lovely outdoor seating, beautiful flowers! We ordered a chicken Panini and a half cold ham and cheese sandwich. The staff were very nice, parking a plenty!

Wonderful food at great prices! This is a favorite stop. Only improvement would be Gluten free items, but with the all day breakfast, there's always something good without wheat flour!

Breakfast was delicious, fast, and served with smiles. This is a great place anytime - take-and-bake pizzas, ice cream, breakfast/lunch. Do not pass up!
