Cedar point is a great platform to enjoy the north woods. It has great features for the family and a beautiful lake for fishing. It is a special place.

Owners were very helpful, friendly and we cant say enough about their willingness to work with us after we experienced a family loss. We stayed on a RV lot overlooking the smaller lake in back. The sunsets were beautiful. It was quite, peaceful and the neighbors were the best. Its a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Even though it was at the end of the season, we saw a lot of wildlife. The grounds are well kept, clean and it reflects the pride the owners have in their resort. Thank you for a great experience!

This was our fourth year staying at Cedar Point and we already booked for next year. Mike and Tracy are incredibly nice and helpful and are always willing to offer fishing advice or answer any questions. We really enjoy having a spacious cabin for our family to stay in that is so close to the lake with its own dock. It’s super nice having an ac unit and heater as the weather is unpredictable and we used both this year.
Also love having ice cream throughout the week! We look forward to this vacation every year, see you next September!

Beautiful resort on Northstar Lake. We used the camping facilities and had a great time. You have to try the roasted doughnuts!

Rented their largest cabin, and it was just as nice as the photos online. Our family of 9 had a beautiful lake home to stretch out in. The lake is beautiful and though we didn't catch "The Big One", the grandkids caught many small ones to create a memory. All our needs were met by simply asking. We rented a pontoon and it was beautiful and comfortable for many rides on the lake. Highly recommend.

We have stayed at Cedar Point for over twenty years. We have rented cabins and also camped in the campground. They are installing a new pool as of June 2021. They offer great amenities such as free use of kayaks, canoes, water toys, swim raft, dock space, multiple lawn games, and WiFi. The Lodge offers scheduled activities for kids of multiple ages, playground complete with pirate ship and sand table. Recent adult offerings included yoga at the pool. Group/family bonfires with free roasted donuts are a fun way to meet fellow guests and make new friends. They sell snacks, fun ice cream flavors, ice, bait, Deva fishing jigs, boat gas, souvenirs and clothing at the Lodge. There is a guest laundry. We have experienced good fishing here. Pontoon rentals available. Owners Tracy & Mike are very accommodating and do their best to help you have a great vacation experience. Our kids have nothing but fond memories of Cedar Point!

Clean, organized, and well maintained cabins, plenty of space for socializing and sleeping. Very friendly and helpful owners! Would highly recommend ordering the cinnamon rolls. Fishing was difficult, but owners did a great job offering suggestions and tips. Would recommend Cedar Point Resort to anyone that enjoys the outdoors!

Our family stayed in the beautiful large log cabin that is secluded from the rest of the resort. It has a wonderful screen porch overlooking the lake and has it's own private dock. We enjoyed the beautiful lake, feeding ducks and chipmunks, swimming in the pool, fishing, (games, puzzles, movies, books) that you can checkout from the lodge for free. The owners of the resort are super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this resort for those who are looking to get away and enjoy nature!

So much to do! Complimentary use of outdoor pool, kayaks, paddle boards, and water bikes. We stayed with family at the Red Pine Lodge. Nice and spacious.. Enjoyed pontoon boat rental, fishing, swimming, volleyball, ice cream, lazy mornings and campfires at night.

We camped in site 7 for 5 nights. The fall colors surrounded us with beauty. The resort only has 5 non-seasonal sites. There are docks by the campsites and the resort. They have a lodge and deck to hang out for internet. There is no internet in the campground area. The hosts (Mike and Tracy) were very friendly and helpful. There is a playground for the kids with swings, teeter totter, merry go round, monkey bars and pirate ship. I felt like I visited my childhood. We also enjoyed playing horse shoes. This resort offers a nice place to come for campers and cabins. The lake is beautiful. They have free to use water bikes, paddle boats, kayaks and canoes. They have a swim beach. There is a boat launch on property that is a bit of a tight squeeze but convenient. 🌞
We hope to return next summer with more family. There is a swimming pool and game room but they are currently closed due to covid. I have Verizon and had moderate reception all week.

This is our 8th year coming to Cedar Point and it is a home away from home. We stay in the cabins. If you have a family, this is an incredibly family-oriented place. However, if you're just hanging with friends and fishing, it's also amazing. Every year we go we see all types of people and all are accommodated.

The owners, Karen and Tim are incredible. I just read the only one star review and I couldn't disagree with the "Google user" more. I can personally attest to the fact that Cedar Point is not partial to anyone and all are welcome.

Great place. Nicely renovated cabins, clean and well equipped. Everything around the grounds us neat and tidy. Owners are great and responsive. They organize special events and food specials at the lodge all week which is nice. Lake is great too...super clean and clear.

You can not find a better resort to spend some time in the great north country of Minnesota. The accommodations are outstanding and Karen and Tim are wonderful host's. Fifteenth year running.
