Springhill Geologic Park

We really enjoy this area! There's a gravel walk to a picnic table. Shortly thereafter, the path turns into a dirt trail. The trail is an easy loop that's probably a mile or less. My kids easily do the entire thing (we hike quite a bit but this would be an easy trail for beginners). They love collecting the neat rocks and trying to spot lizards. There are no restrooms but it's a fun, easy hike close to home!

Really pretty. Lots of different little paths with critters. Only note is to be careful, one of the downhill parts has a dead deer, it's off to the side but still something to keep in mind if you have pets or kids.

Cute little park, dog friendly. Located on the west face of the mountain, so hike in the morning hours in the summer. t's a slow moving landslide, and there are two signs explaining the geology of the area and what happened. Lots of wildlife and flora native to the area, and you can still see some parts of the slide.

This more of a trail head than a park. The trail has a few loops and is probably no more than a few miles total. There are a few shaded areas, which makes it more tolerable in the summer. It does not connect to any other trails outside the neighborhood. It is a great place to walk the dogs.

Such a fun small trail/hike to take your dogs and enjoy the weather! Found it on a whim! This place will definitely be a new spot of ours!

A great short hike that our young kids loved.

It is a short and nice hiking. You can see from a distance three wonderful views the North of Salt Lake , The Great Salt Lake and Antholope Island views.
