Dr. Howard A. Mintz, DDS

As one who has endured a multiplicity of dental problems over a long period of time, I have visited several dentists. However, I stopped two decades ago when I visited the office of Drs. Mintz and Kleiger in South Plainfield. Dr. Mintz is truly a great dentist - good at what he does and is caring. The former alone is incomplete and the latter alone is empty. I say this because nearly 18 years ago another dentist messed up on a dental implant. It was a weekend and the dentist in question had an answering service. No response. I called Dr. Mintz’s office and I was seen on a Sunday. Let me repeat: Seen on a Sunday. The office was opened and my excruciating pain was relieved.
Over the years, he has recommended me to several dental surgeons and specialists (I learnt this from my first mishap) and he even called the dentists on my behalf when necessary.
Another bonus. As he does his job with utmost precision and care , he will tell you about his travels as well as the book he is reading. I have always left better informed and a bit more knowledgeable. A visit to a dentist need not be a painful experience....
Soon this great dentist is retiring. He just told me a few minutes ago as I visited his office. He has created a lacuna which I find difficult to fill.
