Kimchihana Korean Japanese Restaurant

This place is the best Korean BBQ in central NJ. The banchan is excellent with different types of kimchi and veggies. The BBQ is the star of the show. Our favorite is the kalbi but we haven’t strayed outside of beef. Their other dishes are solid as well. My daughter loves the rice cake and dumpling soup. The tofu stews hit the spot in the winter time. Just keep in mind that it gets smoky inside so don’t be surprised when you go home smelling like BBQ.

We here for Dinner with family, the Choices were good, I loved the hot and sour shrimp, also we had the option of BYOB 😉

Our server helped us a lot with the cooking , the pork was brought to us cooked .
We had a nice time, friendly staff , ample of parking and many options to choose from the menu . Kids didn’t enjoy the shrimp Sinai so much , the tofu soup was a bit sour so that too wasn’t so enjoyable by them . On the whole we had a good experience.

Good portions and quality. Service is just ok. Best side dishes I've had in NJ so far. Great value Lunch menu. Food from Regular/dinner menu is a bit higher price than other Korean restaurants but good quality makes up for the higher price.

Authenticate Korean food! Recommend the seafood pancake, very crispy and tasty. They give us 8 snacks before the meal, which are a lot comparing to other Korean restaurants.

Family owned restaurant, amazing flavors in all the dishes. Ordered the seafood scallion pancakes, and they were hella crispy, till the time we left. Banchan is really good and keeps on getting refilled too.(that seems to be a Korean practise, wish I knew this earlier ) Kimchi stands apart here, the waitress was very kind enough that I could purchase Kimchi for savoring it later too. Ordered the shredded beef and scallion soup, and that was flavorful too.

We had Korean BBQ with maki rolls, Korean soup, and Korean seafood and green onion Jeon (known as pancake). The food was as amazing as I expected. The waitress gave us plenty of banchans and bbqed the meat on another table to give us more room and privacy to chat. Once the meat was ready, she stopped waiting on us. I dropped my chopstick accidently, but it was hard to get her attention because she was busy waiting on other dinners. The management should hire more people for more pleasant dining experiences and also for their staff members' well-being.

This place is my go to home style Korean restaurant. They have the best banchan that I've ever had 🥰

I am always happy eating here- the side dishes are the best and you can always get seconds on them if you ask. Food is always fresh and I have been going for many years with friends and family. Highly recommend especially (if you can’t get to Palisades Park…lol)

I haven’t tried any of the Japanese food but the Korean food is great. There’s a liquor store right by this place so it’s great that it’s BYOB.

I love the Jeyook Bokum. Spicy and lovely flavors. I also love all of the pickles that they bring before your meal. The Korean bbq is great but ideal for 3 or more people to get the full experience.

In the pic is the Bokum with squid which is also quite nice (the Jeyook/pork is better imo)

This restaurant is a long standing pillar for Korean cuisine in the area. I have fine memories of my parents bringing me here in my youth, and celebrating special occasions as an adult. Specialty meat is grilled in the center of the table with charcoal, which elevates the flavor beyond what gas grills can provide. Of course, the rest of the menu items are very well made and the banchan small plates are generous. The prices are not cheap, but the experience is a very good value. I highly recommend this restaurant, and will likely continue my patronage as long as it stands.

Authentic Korean food. I recommend the bbq and meat soup. The price is more expensive than Korean buffet nearby, but the food worths it.

Goto restaurant when I am in the area. It is one of the oldest Korean restaurants in the area. Very popular among Korean-Americans.

They offer a big variety of Korean and Japanese food. Very generous with portions and offers you refills on the side dishes. The spiciness of the food can be adjusted. The Korean woman who served our party was very nice and quick. The entire staff wore their masks correctly. This place used to be full of people on the weekends and it’s sad to see it so quiet. I hope their business thrives.

We come here often for celebrations and love this place. Service could be better but food and side dishes are great. Our favorite is to get the BBQ and naegmyun. We also love the intestine soup here. It's really good.

Pretty okay cold noodles. Side dishes are very good.
