Bobae Coffee & Tea

We had Bobae cater our work event with boba tea and desserts and they did great! Customer service was spot on, very helpful in deciding flavor options, were on time, and most importantly it was DELICIOUS! Great work event idea!

Super helpful bobaristas, my first time coming in and they were very informative and kind! Great at recommending drinks and we loved our drinks. The honey lemon green tea didn’t have an on the nose lemon flavor but at 70% the green tea flavor is really complementary to the honey flavor. Great staff for sure though, I felt it was so educational and I can’t wait to come back!!! Thanks to everyone who works so hard to provide excellent customer service to make it such a great visit!

I stopped by here on a whim: to grab a quick cup of tea to then go shopping nearby. However, upon walking in, the atmosphere was so inviting and relaxing that those plans weren't right out the window. After ording my drink and getting a few gluten-free snacks, I couldn't help but feel invited to sit down and just enjoy my time here for a bit. I always have my painting supplies with me, so I was able to get some work done.
Everyone who came in was greeted warmly and was given excellent customer service. I got the "Red, White, and Matcha," and they freshly pour the ceremonial matcha at costomer pick up to make sure the drink is optimal for each customer being served. The drink had fresh strawberry jam, and I opted for almond milk and it was lovely.
Just dreamy. I hope to stop by more often. It's a great space for relaxing and getting work done. I'm so glad I stopped by.

Kieran was the absolute best!!! We had no idea what we wanted when we arrived and she helped us get the perfect teas for ourselves! Highly recommend her and bobae!

I got Thai tea with boba and my husband got strawberry lemonade with lychee jelly 👍 very good! Thai tea is always a hit or miss for me and this was perfect sweetness! I think it’s because I’m lactose intolerant so they didn’t put the condense milk but that was perfect for me. Also the boba texture was on point and if you love boba you know what I mean 😅 we don’t normally come out this way so this was our first time and we love it! Thank you!

Bobae runs are a staple for me and my sister and they should be for you too. This adorable coffee & tea spot offers lots of fun options to try, as well as small treats (macarons with asian flavors, baked goods, etc). I think my favorite part of the experience is their seasonal menu, where they offer a batch of themed drinks each month based on fresh ingredients and combinations. Pic shows their Thai tea & fresh pumpkin seasonal combo. Once mixed it is godly. I always look forward to the time of year when they have fresh mango & offer a MANGO STICKY RICE DRINK. Extremely addicting and healing for us SE Asian folks, lol. The staff here are incredibly helpful and are happy to help you decide between choices and explain sweetness, topping pairings, flavor profiles etc. Shoutout to Kennedy, but also everyone there rocks. You can always expect above and beyond kindness and thoughtfulness at Bobae!!

Great customer service and great vibes here! But the boba was the star! They have nitro style drinks which are very interesting. They also have seasonal drinks as well. If you are looking for some great boba and great service look no further than this small store in Woodinville.

The vibes of the shop are very relaxed. Very colorful. The person who took my order was friendly and helped me navigate the large varieties of drinks the shop had to offer while educating me on what makes them different from other boba shops. Overall, I was very impressed with the place. I ordered the September special, jasmine and peach. You can taste the difference in quality in comparison to other boba shops.

After a long morning at work, I always feel the need for a nice cold treat! Bobae does not miss, one of the best if not top 3 Boba spots for me in all of PNW. Alexis was my server today and lead with initiative, kindness and had amazing recommendations! Keep up the good work guys; 10/10 service and 10/10 drinks.

This dine in location is fabulous, but you know who specifically is freakin fantastic? Kieran. She’s the bomb and got me hooked on their lavender goodness, the Moonlight Saphire. When I want to try something new and let her know what I like and maybe not so into, she has never done me wrong. Whether it’s this location or Kirkland, love her smile and recommendations. She is amazing at explaining what’s new and what she’s serving if you have the fortunate pleasure of having her showcase your drink upon delivery. Thank you!!!

I came in and loved the calming atmosphere of this place. Celeste whipped up a drink called the love potion and she did everything very fast and efficient. She’s super sweet and an incredible barista. Thank you Celeste for making my drink it was bomb!!

We stopped in here near the end of february to try out and the woman who greeted us was super knowledgeable and friendly. We got a cute pin, some beverages, and she mentioned the limited time donuts they sell and said they still had reservations so we paid for that as well. Unfortunately when I went to pick up the donuts they claimed they didn’t have a record of our order and that they can’t even process reservations at the counter. The cashier definitely did though and our purchase was over 50 which wouldn’t make sense for two drinks and a pin. They also wouldn’t give us a refund. At first they asked me to email the address on their business card, but they also took down my name, email, and number and said someone was asking the owner and they would get back to me, but they never did. I didn’t email because I thought it was handled and someone was going to call back. So now we call this place the donut scammers. The drinks were tasty though.

EDIT: Literally two hours after I posted this they emailed me a very heartfelt apology for the mistake and delayed response. They also made it right by offering to make me the february donuts I missed to pick up on this month’s donut day. Thank you!

The server who helped me (I think her name was Lauren) was super helpful and knowledgeable about all the drinks and knew exactly how to suggest options that suited my tastes. I also have some dietary restrictions that she was able to accommodate and I loved the choice I ended up with.

I have had the pleasure of going to the Woodinville location of Bobae consistently for a year now. The owners—Karma and Joey, but, their whole staff as well—run this creative space beyond reproach. They have really embodied Starbucks’ philosophy of the third place. Bobae is a safe, welcoming place where the staff genuinely care about you, whether it’s by following pandemic protocols and wearing masks, or by taking the time to not only learn your name, but, remember it.

As for the bubble tea, it is spectacular. They have popular staples such as Nitro OG Milk Tea and Nitro Bae-Kok Thai Tea that I love. But, it’s their rotating monthly creative menu that really seals the deal for me. It really gives everyone the opportunity to try out something new. And the fact that it’s only available with a known end date makes it a bittersweet affair, but, there’s always something new to discover and enjoy the following month! My favorite month is whenever they bring back their ube series. I know I’m not alone in this feeling.

They also make delicious cream-filled doughnuts every month. They are limited-time only and I think the most recent batch (February 2022) sold out in two minutes. Yes, they are that good.

Bobae also has a brand-new location in downtown Kirkland right next to Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen, which has splendid food. Anyway, the Kirkland location of Bobae is pick-up only and the interior is incredibly romantic. Remember, Bobae is a creative space, so, they take aesthetics and atmosphere as seriously as they do their bubble tea, loose tea, coffee, baked goods, etc.

Just a really good place with really good drinks and friendly people to make them for you. What could be better?

stopped by here because i was curious and love a little drink when i’m shopping. i’m super uneducated when it comes to boba and a lot of the time i feel like an idiot while ordering, but the employee at the register was the sweetest girl ever and answered every question i had. she nailed the recommendation (black pandan i think is what she said it was?). it’s absolutely delicious and if you’re looking for a drink that’s creamy and sweet i would certainly recommend that one! i wish i caught the name of the girl working, she had dirty blonde/light brown hair and was really bubbly and helpful. if you’re someone who is anxious about ordering at new places (you’re not alone hehehe) she is truly the dream employee to encounter. thanks so much for all the help!

Incredible drinks that are always made with care. Bobae’s high quality ingredients truly make a difference. The Bobaejicha is the best drink on the menu. Their staff is absolutely wonderful, shout out to Keirin for their 5 star service 😎

My new favorite boba stop, my boyfriend and my new favorite treat in the world is the Oreo mochi Ube cookie!! Also love to get more freshly roasted coffee for home here. I also appreciate anywhere that cares about more clean and better sourcing ingredients/ organic options!

Great customer service from Keirin at the Woodinville location!! She was very accommodating with our modifications to the drinks and explained the menu selections well. I’m so happy with both my delicious drink (Love Potion, which is wonderful. It’s sweet and fruity and is probably my new favorite drink) and the wonderful customer service. Thanks so much, Keirin!!

I went in looking for a Taro milk tea, but I ended up getting something better. They don't serve artificial flavors, so they didnt have taro, but Alexis suggested I get a thai tea with a cheesecap. It was delicious. 10/10 recommended.

I would recommend this place to anyone who loves quality ingredients, people’s, and atmosphere. Shane served me and was very nice and welcoming and helped me become familiar with the new menu. I would recommend the cloud series for anyone who is craving something light and creamy with their in house made cap. Keep up the good work yall !
