What a wonderful gem tucked away in Carle Place! My boyfriend and I went for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. The food is scrumptious and the service and ambiance are top-notch. We can't wait to go back! Kim was our waitress. She was very welcoming and gave us recommendations! The garlic bread for the table was delicious. We started off with the grilled flatbread with the mission figs - the flat bread is made in house and was delicious and the toppings were fresh! I got the Romano Crusted Chicken and my boyfriend got the The Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb - both meals were perfectly portioned and fresh. For dessert, we got an apple crisp - very good! Can't wait to go back and try other options on the menu!

Looking for something to eat near Roosevelt Mall? West End Cafe is nearby in a strip mall right across from REI. You will find items on the menu you would not be able to taste elsewhere. Great delicious American food with fantastic service is what you find in this hidden gem. Warm and cozy Manhattan-style decor with comfortable seating allows you to enjoy your food while having a great time with friends or family without going to the city. Once seated, a basket of warm delicious garlic bread is brought out to the table. They have an excellent choice of cocktails and drinks along with draft beer. Choose your appetizers and entrees then finish off with some dessert.

West End Cafe has been has been around a long time, their service & quality of food has not changed overtime. I hadn't been here in a while, this time I tried their twilight menu, it has many options to choose from, their portions are big, not what you would expect for the fixed price menu. I had the beet salad & the Romano crusted chicken, very tasty, juicy well seasoned chicken & the warm peach crisp. For the fixed price you're served fairly big portions of delicious well seasoned food. Their sparkling French Martini is one of my favorite drinks here, it's an absolute delight!!

What a pleasant surprise. I ended up in Glen Cove unexpectedly. Being hungry, I pulled up places to eat on Google and drive past the cafe. Everything was delicious. Duck wrap special was delightful and the sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. For those of you who order them know what I mean. Everything looked so good I ordered food to go as well. Thank you for making a trying day wonderful!!!!!

My date and I had the price fixed dinner. The menus offered a variety of dishes. The beet salad appetizer and fresh salmon were delicious. Portions were generous, and we both had a delicious ice cream desert.

The twilight menu ALWAYS pleases. Everything is delicious! Pork chop. Salmon. Shrimp risotto. Duck tacos. wedge salad.

Great selection of beer from local area be towards upstate catskill or here on long island like south shore craft brewery. Chef Lou is the best and the food is out of this world. The location is a hidden gem in a quiet shopping center. Must go place when in the area .

Very small cozy restaurant. It gives Manhattan ambience. Price is on the high steep side but food is delicious. I enjoyed their crusted chicken, duck tacos and pistachio parfait/ice cream.

We had dinner here and the place is a hidden restaurant in the myst of closed stores and businesses. We went for the twilight 3 course dinner for a set price. For starters we had the goat cheese beet salad, meatballs and the burrata. They were all good and only complaint was the beets tasted like they were out of a can and the metal flavor lingeres on your pallet. For the main we had shrimp with risotto, flat iron steak and the rack of lamb from the regular dinner menu. Those dishes were done right and cooked to perfection. The meats were fresh and juicy with sides perfectly paired. My little one order the sliders which was plump and juicy as well. The desserts were good but could be of better quality. The place is not for bargain diners, our bill topped $200 and now I understand why its called Manhattan style dining. Overall a good place for special occasions and not a place you wanna pay and dine weekly unless you have the Benjamins.

Everything about West End Cafe was exceptional. The hospitality, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and most importantly, the food!!! The herb biscuit was a great way to start the meal. Charred Octopus and Arugula salad was well-balanced. The Steak and Penne entree was delicious, a perfect blend of carbs and protein with a delicious sauce!

Excellent salad. Plentiful and fresh. Reasonably priced and excellent service. Good location, plenty of parking.

Wonderful, varied selection of foods. Full service, well stocked bar. The beer menu was a bit disappointing, but I wasn't there to drink .

Food here was fantastic. Definitely a good buy if you go for the price fixe menu. Had the shrimp risotto...it was so good! Drinks are a bit pricy. You will never leave there hungry.

The twilight menu is a steal! Had a great experience when we went there for my father-in-law's birthday but a very cold, impatient waiter when we went back to celebrate my in-law's anniversary.

The brownie sundae is special, so are the meatballs, pork chops and butternut soup.

Phenomenal food and service. Had the pork cutlet with arugula and creamy Italian dressing. It was fantastic.

We usually eat an early dinner and go for the twilight dinner, which includes appetizer, entree and dessert. Food is delicious. I adore their beet salad, as an appetizer or first course. Delicious garlic knot like rolls. Ample entree selection. Everything I have ever ordered was scrumptious. Portions are large. It lives up to my QQV standards(quality, quantity and value). Service is great.

This restaurant is hidden in the back of a small shopping center. Food amazing service amazing and fantastic drinks.

Excellent food cooked to perfection. The drinks had nice pours. Fried calamari and duck tacos were excellent appetizers. Shrimp with risotto was the best tasting since I returned from Italy a few years ago. Highly recommended, we will return.
