Village Pizza II

Absolutely delightful pizzeria with mouthwatering offerings. We tired the traditional cheese slice, white slice, a meatball slice and a Sicilian slice... all of them were simply out of the world.... the day's special shrimp chowder was decadent and the made to order calzone with sausage and pepperoni filling was definitely worth the wait....

Had a Great Time at this location while visiting Mom, Pizza was Very Good, Conversation with the staff was awesome. They were very Professional courteous and attentive. Place was very Clean and Great prices.Enjoy...

Love this place ! Great regular pizza, but the Sicilian is amazing .

This pizza place was great! We walked in, ordered our meals, and it came out hot and delicious

I got the calzone which was huge, it was cooked well and had great cheese. There was also a good selection of bottled beverages

The prices are also very fair, although it's unfortunately cash only which is a little rough for someone like me who's always cashless. Since the prices are so fair though, I'm willing to excuse that

I've been getting pizza from Village for over 2 decades and I'm never disappointed.
They use top quality cheese, make excellent sauce, don't overcharge for topping and will make you exactly what you want.
Anytime I'm in town and craving pizza there isn't another place to go when you know Village is open.

One of Catskills staples.

This is the best pizza around! I live in Columbia County and I know a lot of people make a big deal about driving across the bridge but it's worth the trip. I usually get a pizza and maybe some wings or mozzarella sticks. The food is excellent every time. The pizza has a thin but still chewy crust, with the right balance of flavor in the sauce and they don't overdo it or underdo it on the cheese.

If you want food on a weekend evening I recommend calling early because they get very busy around 5:30 and then you might have to wait a while.

Also, be aware they don't accept credit cards, but there is a bank across the street if you need it.

If you live in Columbia/Greene, don't waste your time with any other place, for pizza Village Pizza is the one you want!

The pizza there is amazing. I am a pizza critic and they have the best tasting pizza and it's cooked to a perfect crust. Take my wife and kids there all the time and they love it too

Best pizza we have had. Being from Brooklyn we know pizza. Try it you won't be disappointed. Polite , friendly,price are good. Highly recommend

Great pizza, a little pricey but so is everywhere now

Came here randomly on a road trip driving through. The pizza was outstanding, as good as any NY city or Bronx pizzeria I have ever been to (and I have been to a lot). The owners were so sweet and even gave my son some slices to go because he liked them so much. I look forward to our next road trip where we drive past this place again!

We were looking for a simple Pizza place where we could eat and run, this place fit the bill perfectly. The pizza slices we got were good, the girl brought them to our table when they came out of the oven and the price was good. They do have full dinners there that we saw other customers eating and they looked good.

This is the best pizza I've had in the Catskills by far! Whenever I'm in the area for vacation we always stop by and grab some food.

Was really delicious, I had the cheese lasagna and the tomato sauce this place uses is :chefs_kiss: They were also able to make my boyfriend a slice of the meat lovers and it was mammoth!

I live in Hudson where there are many pizza places. But I pay the extra bridge toll to get pizza here. If you want homemade Italian pizza this is the place to go The quality is amazing and they are so generous with their toppings. Nothing has matched them yet in my eyes. Friendly service cash or check but they do have an ATM machine on the premise now.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! We got a bunch of items after our hike and the staff was the sweetest.

Awesome subs antipasto salad and Def try their chili when they have it. It's excellent.
As a former pizza shop owner and Coming from New Haven I'm very spoiled when it comes to pizza. That being said, IMO Village has the best pizza in the Catskill area.
The employees are always very nice and welcoming.
Overall, Village is def worthy of a 5 star review.

Best pizza in the county! Been going here since 1982! Moved out of state in 2001 and always sure to visit when I get back to the area. You won't want to miss out on a slice of NY here!

Best place to enjoy a slice and a cold drink after stroll around downtown. Clean restroom. Plenty of pizza, subs, and dinners to choose from. Nice employees. Just bring cash or a check no other forms of payment is accepted.

catering trays are excellent! sausage, peppers, onions are amazing. you get a bang for your buck. Maria’s Meat Ball trays are the best in town. Thank you Maria and Angelo.
