Great place especially if you like trains. While waiting for Frank, we were fortunate that the owner ran his train on the track. Just fun! Left my set which my father bought when I was four and he passed the next year. Still have the set thanks for the fun!

If you are into railroad modeling THIS IS THE PLACE. They have many merchandise to chose from with very decent prices. I spoke with Frank (if I remember right). What a nice gentleman. He explained lots of things if I would get into this hobby.

What a delightful shop! The owner was so friendly and spent time with us while we were in the store and turned on the display trains for our boys. We most certainly will be back again and encourage you to drop by if you're in the area.

You find friendly people and a store full of history. I was told about the fire and this new building to replace the original depot.The train goes by in the back. If you love trains, you'll be pleased with the selection and their big train on display.

Stan Slade runs the place and has a great collection of new and old train items for sale. If he does not have it he can probably get it. It is one of the largest locations in the state for model train items.

Lots of older equipment that needs minimal to no work to be put in service, last I was here they hadn't gotten much stock in new items back after the fire but I will hopefully be back this weekend or next and can update on stock.
A lot of Lionel and even some G Scale.

i have an old Lionel train set that is over 50 yrs old that stopped working, the technician tested the engine and transformer and found both to be working then suggested that i check each section of track to resolve the issue. when i got home i found 1 section of track was not good, replaced it and the train is woking again. i highly recommend them and thank them for helping me resolve the problem.

I stopped in today on a fluke—I was in town to get my car serviced at the dealer. What a treasure trove of Lionel! I will most definitely be back. Often.

I probably should mention this cause they will be gone before I can get back there with sufficient funds. Stan had some really nice Freight Car by K-Line marked for PRR. All the way home I was trying to determine a source for funds

It's a great model railroading store, has all scales with a layout in the middle. The building is right next to a busy main line. Employees are freindly!

The knowledge and inventory in this store are amazing. These men working here are living train historians and delightful to talk to. Love this place.

a great model railway place, but could do with a little bit better organizing, they have nice workers as well, with the nice trackside view of the CSX rochester subdivision.

Wow! What a fabulous place. A former train depot that is now what must be the best train shop in NYS!
