Akron Falls Park

Nice area for a nature hike! Falls were flowing a bit today. Great spot to just soak up the fresh air. Area is down hill but there are nice path paving the way for a great view. Wasn’t able to make it down to the falls because darkness was falling quickly but I enjoyed listing to the water flow and hearing the sounds of nature.

Lovely park that shines as a great fall foliage walk. Nice trail that goes along the water with playground, soft light, shelters for parties. Fairly clean and nice view of the little waterfall.

Akron Falls Park is located right in Akron, New York. The trail is an out and back trail that is a little less than one mile in length. The trail is relatively easy and flat for the most part. I ended up going to Akron Falls Park after a good rainstorm, but the falls has the tendency to dry up pretty quickly if there's been dry weather for a bit.

Such a large park with lots of trails to take a walk and enjoy nature. The falls are nice, the viewing area for the falls is spacious, but does have limited views. Trail down to the falls viewing platform is a short walk down an incline, but handrails to help if you need it. Playgrounds and pavillions around the park. Plenty of parking.

Even in the rain this place was magical. Short walk to waterfall on a very well maintained trail. Nearby the playground for kids.

So nice stopping and taking a nice, easy walk to see the Falls. The steps down to the Falls is well maintained.

I enjoyed the quiet, serene experience at this park. The trails were maintained, and kept clear of garbage. We hiked down the falls trail. In just a short period of time, we were able to see many different varieties of wildlife. Overall this trip to the Akron Falls Park, was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend this park, to anyone looking for a peaceful time!!

Beautiful park. Parking is close to the falls, a park, restrooms and the trails. Was a little tricky to navigate the trails with all the ice but it's not impossible. Use caution if you're not comfortable walking on icy or narrow paths in winter.

The falls are awesome to check out while mostly frozen over, as well as the tree branches that are close to the falls. You'll see they have ice/snow that sticks to the branches and makes them look 3d. It's really quite special!

Absolutely Gorgeous waterfalls! Easy to access, marked well and great trails. Even has a built in bench at the overlook. Loved it!

One of the many places in Buffalo that is a must see. Never expected to have such a beauty in backyard. Took 30 mins to reach this wonderful destination (clicking pictures during the hike is also included). If you're looking for some good place to hike with pets and kids, you wouldn't be failed to get surprised.

A natural place to visit . . . in zero-emissions vehicles. Can't wait for Erie County to install the EVSE specced for the site.

Very nice park, several playgrounds, including a recent, high quality one. Nice trails along the water. The view of the actual waterfall is a little limited (you can’t get very close) but that’s understandable. There’s usually a ranger on duty which is nice for safety. Park is very dog friendly and has functional restrooms. It looks like there was once a concession but that has been long unused.

Beautiful park. A lot of area to walk. Bathrooms, playground, tennis court, basketball court, shelters, etc. .

Beautiful waterfall. Well maintained trails. Incredibly easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Overall an excellent spot to check out if you are looking for a quick break while on a multi state road trip across I90.

Great place to visit in fall and summer time. There are several places to eat, sit and do like picnic.. Nice falls are there. There are also trailing path to feel the adventure.
