Golden Donuts & Diner

Good old fashioned diner serving some deliciousness for either breakfast or lunch. I had the double cheeseburger with bacon, cheeseburger, fries, cinnamon rolls, their breakfast sandwich (BEC), coffee, and their chili. I have not been disappointed. You may order the meat your style. For me, preferably medium well. The burger is massive and it’s taste deliciously impactful. If you dine in, you will listen to some nice tunes from specific eras and genres. You may dine in and or order take out. Prices are decent. Staff is amazing. Parking in front of the restaurant. Excellent prices!

Great food at perfect prices and amazing staff!! New to this place but I see now why they have very faithful regulars (whom the staff know by name!) Definitely a gem and my only regret is that it took me so long to check them out after arriving in the area.

THE HIBACHI DISH IS GREAT. COOKED ON THE EXACT POINT, EXCELENT FLAVOR AND A REALLY NICE SERVICE.
AND... YOU HAVE TO CHECK THEIR RECORD COLLECTION ON THE WALLS. IT'S AMAZING!!

Everything was amazing.

The coffee was great. The food was amazing. The tunes were out of this world.

The Golden Buster, consisting of potatoes, cheese, ham, gravy and eggs was to die for.

The donuts are made in the back and are awesome too.

I can't wait to come back.

This review would have had 19 donuts for me to show off, but because they are so delicious they sold out of most of their inventory before I was able to get there. 😭 Honestly, it’s probably good that I was only able to score one apple fritter because it would have been a pretty overwhelming temptation to justify practicing for my next eating competition.

All I can comment on is the donuts because I’ve never had any other menu item, but I’m sure everything is delicious...

As for the donuts, they are some of THE best I’ve ever had. They still make them old school, fried in oil, out of what seems like a batter made on site, like formerly good companies like Dunkin Donuts and Der Dutchman used to do. The fritter was crispy and sweet on the outside and soft and sticky and flavorful all the way through. THIS is what a fritter should be. And the fact that I recently had such a disappointing realization of Der Dutchman’s downfall (reference my review) makes this all the sweeter.

Delicious as usual. Great service, good atmosphere. It's like Cheers...neighborhood place where everyone knows your name, even when they don't, it feels like they do. Nice place for a quick brunch/lunch meeting with my daughter and business partner.

Some of the best hibachi food I've ever had. The place was spotless and the people were so kind that worked there.

I grew up with my grandmother coming to this establishment all the time. The fact that business around this place have come and gone and they are still there is legendary. The service is outstanding. The menu is sublime. Especially the apple fritter french toast. It's cozy for a couple. Great for kids. Has everything even Asian food. I will always keep coming back.

Authentic and delicious donuts! Delicious flavors, fillings, and icings. If you like a lot of filling or icing this is the place for you, they don't hold back! I loved it and can't wait to go back and try their breakfast too.

Truly a unique place. From the album covers on the walls to the 70's diner feel to the music playing in the background to the mom and pop feel. Our orders were delicious, not one complaint among us. Definitely try the bacon burger and an apple fritter for dessert.

Biscuits & gravy are exceptional. Old school diners are harder and harder to find.

Donuts small time diner and hibachi all in one place I was nervous trying it but so worth it. Absolutely delicious and the server was so nice. And their coffee is actually delicious too.

My friends and I were teleport at to this land of Ohio. We wandered the streets until we saw the Golden Donuts and Diner. By the time we sat down Katrice had already gleaned our drink order. We sat and within seconds the order was placed and the army of staff militantly in step delivered our drinks. Within a reasonable amount of time our banquet had begun. It was full of flavor and hit the spot. We will now take a nap before starting our day but thank you Katrice.

I try to stop every morning for a couple doughnuts. I like their maple long johns & apple fritters.

Love this place to get my breakfast sandwich about two or three times per week bacon, egg and cheese on Texas toast.

This place has always been in my area and I never really paid much attention to it until one of these days I decided to give it a try with my little sister…BEST DECISION EVER. The food is so flavorful, the aesthetic is nostalgic, and the staff just makes the experience even better. My main reason of going was because I saw they had donuts, and I looove donuts, I was not disappointed at all. Quite literally some of the best donuts I’ve ever tried. I’m starting to go here regularly for my breakfast before heading off to work, a nice breakfast sandwich with their delicious Cajun sauce, an amazing jelly donut, and a large cappuccino, LOVE IT!!!!! For anyone curious about giving this place a try, STOP THINKING AND JUST GOOOOO.

This is the absolute best breakfast spot. Down the street from home in the neighborhood. Friendly welcoming owner and the waitress is the Best. Best donuts in town. Eat and spend local. Right on Lockbourne. Open 630am to 2pm

This place is fantastic. It has super friendly staff, solid food, and really affordable prices. If you're a fan of old school, no-fuss diners, this is a great spot. It's housed in an old jolly pirate location, and has a nice nostalgic feel to it. I highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for a breakfast spot.

Nostalgia doesn't do justice describing the atmosphere and people. The food is delicious and the sweets are timeless. A staple in the community for decades and God willing decades to come.
