VcGrooming (Studio 6 Columbus)

I was looking for a new shop to get my braids done and haircut. I was nervous initially but that all went away rather quickly. The vibe in here is great! Warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Barbers and Stylists are friendly and easy to talk to and are sure to take care of ya! I will be back :)

Last year I decided I was done biting my nails and messaged a bunch of nail salons to see who would take my short, bitten nails and put acrylics on them or help me grow them out. Leana answered the call again (and again though biting relapses, broken nails, and crazy nail art requests) with no judgment and good humor, despite how much I still bite my cuticles--I can't say the same for other places. I am really going to miss seeing her every couple of weeks. I love the neighborhood vibes of this salon, and anytime I am in Columbus I know where I am going to get my nails done. The other stylists at Studio 6 are just as talented and just as kind I'm sure, but Leana is my go to!

Lee did an amazing job with my nails! I actually contacted her the day before I had to leave for a big trip and she came in on her day off to do my nails because she knew how important the trip was to me! And she was so kind and I didn’t even feel like I was getting my nails done because we were chatting the whole time. I have wider nail beds but she was able to get me the perfect shape that I wanted. She is probably one of the best nail techs in Columbus. Will be back!

Today was my second appointment with Tiauna and Hot Tips by Tee. She was amazing! Friendly, professional, and patient with me as this is my first experience with getting manicures. She found the perfect color to compliment my style and answered all of my questions. So glad that I booked my next appointment already! The salon itself is stylish, and a fun atmosphere.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Studio 6! The service provided was excellent, and they took exceptional care of my hair. The atmosphere was peaceful yet fun, creating a truly enjoyable environment. I don't talk much but the conversations around me were engaging and enjoyable, making the whole experience even better. I must commend the talented stylists, Veteran_Cuts and Dezjondalocs, for their wonderful work. They skillfully transformed my hair, precisely meeting my preferences. I highly recommend Studio 6 for anyone seeking exceptional service and skilled barbers and stylist, you won't be disappointed. Studio 6 is an amazing space!

Super professional place was clean and everyone was so nice. Took my daughter to get her nails done… Mel totally blew us away!!! Detailed and they look perfect!

I've gone to Carma (@polishedbycarma on insta) numerous times and she never disappoints! She is the only one I let do my nails at this point. She is fantastic, and the whole studio is a vibe! Always clean and lively with music regardless of when I go in. All the other people I've met there have been so sweet too! Truly enjoy coming here every month!

Alexis did such a wonderful and quick job on my knotless braids! The service was such a great deal as it included a wash and the hair was provided! Alexis is such a fun, wonderful soul and her personality is infused in everything she does. Would highly recommend and see nothing but growth and prosperity in her future!

I got my hair braided by Moni and I must say that it was the most efficient, full service braiding I’ve had done in a while! So many braiders don’t take the time to wash and blow dry hair anymore and having a full service experience made the entire process so easy and relaxing. She handled my hair gently and took time to make sure it was exactly how I wanted! The shop vibes are immaculate with great laughs and conversations and I highly recommend anyone, man or woman, to visit this shop and have an amazing experience!

Honestly one of the best salons I’ve been to. I’ve had almost everyone there do my hair and every single time I walk out feeling fresh and amazing. Shout out to Studio 6. Much love

Carma is the best Nail tech I’ve ever had so efficient, kind , accommodating , and pleasure able. Everyone in the salon greeted me played music during the time of my appointment overall 10/10. If you don’t get your nails done by Carma you should @polishedbycarma on insta💕💅🏽

I get DolledByMoni and am definitely a regular now!! I like her work ethic and she is quick friendly and professional. Her work is exceptional and definitely speaks for herself. The customer service and friendly environment is a plus!!! Thank you Moni and Team!!!

Barbershop/Salon is clean and the aesthetic are on trend for the clientele. Shawn is professional and on time with appointments which is definitely an added plus. I will certainly return for my future haircuts. Also great location.

A cool place to get a cut, not wheelchair friendly though.

It is said that first impressions are lasting impressions. Let me just say I was indeed IMPRESSED and not just by one thing.
These may seem like small things to some, and in truth they are. But it's the small things that make such a BIG difference.
Here are a few things that impressed me about STUDIO 6.
1. Someone actually answered the phone. I actually spoke to a person, I mean a real live person. The phone didn't ring forever just to send me to VM. I wasn't put on hold and forgotten about 👍.
2. I was acknowledged and greeted upon entrance.👍
Have you ever entered an establishment and no one says anything until you do. #ANNOYING
3. The environment was clean, neat and orderly 👍👍.
Even though its a barber shop hair was not all over the floor or stuck to the bottom of my shoe.
My stylist was Andi, and honestly I cannot say enough about her. Professional, knowledgeable, creative and a very patient individual. I was greeted with a smile and a firm hand shake 👍👍. As we talked I was telling her about the service I thought I wanted. She asked questions. Explained different things about different hair styles. It was in during that conversation I realized I had no clue about the style I thought I wanted. I already mentioned being impressed by the smile and handshake. What I found to be the most impressive thing about this young woman. Not only did she educate me on various hair style options, maintenance and the upkeep of each style. She actually LISTENED to me and provided the opportunity for me to ask questions. Andi was patient and understanding of an indecisive, uninformed customer. I have experienced the annoyance of a hair stylist and yes I have left a chair or two disappointed. Trust me when I tell you, that was not my experience at Studio 6.
From the education, to the shampoo bowl, to the last Started Loc. Andi provided AWESOME service. The most memorable and enjoyable part of my service was the hair wash.
I think my soul left my body. IT WAS DEFINATELY THE SCALP MASSAGE FOR ME .👌👌👌
If you have not had the STUDIO 6 experience, I highly recommend you make an appointment for you and a friend.

My esthetician Tamaree is amazing. Super professional, always nice and prices are amazing!!. She truly cares about her work and it shows. She makes u comfortable. I have NEVER had a bad experience with her. Only person that will EVER touch my lashes! Book her!! You won't be disappointed!

I only get dolledbymoni ! service is amazing every time including a good wash and blow dry (stylist don’t really do that anymore🙄). the environment in the building is always lively and good. i recommend everyone to get dolledbymoni !

I got my eyelashes extensions done for the first time today by Tamaree and she’s the best! I definitely recommend getting your lash extensions done by her because she does amazing work! It was nothing but good vibes in the room from the other ladies! I will be back!!!
