Cafe Bella Vita Italian Restaurant

I dined here for Thanksgiving dinner. Many times, holiday service is spotty. You don’t get a good representation of what a restaurant can offer when there is a holiday menu. I found their menu to have a lot of great options, including traditional Italian dishes, as well as traditional Thanksgiving fair.

Most importantly, service was great. While the restaurant was quite crowded, the service was never hurried, rushed, or lacking. The wait staff was on point.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing, not too noisy or chaotic. Even the restrooms were immaculate. I met the owner and thanked her for a lovely Thanksgiving meal experience. We will be back to dine and try their regular menu one day soon. Highly recommend Café Bella Vita.

The portions were enormous and the place was surprisingly elegantly appointed for a place in a strip mall!

For $40 we got essentially a 5 course meal: bread, salad, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Basically 2 whole meals for $40. Not too shabby!

Their salmon with champagne sauce was quite good. Their tomatoes were unfortunately just so-so which is surprising given it was summertime when we dined. The "parfait" was literally just ice cream and the other desserts were pretty average as well. Clearly not a place that employs an Italian pastry chef.

One of the waiters seemed very cranky to be there but the other staff were charming and lovely.

I had a fantastic time at Cafe Bellavita in Staten Island, where we celebrated my sister-in-law's surprise birthday party. The food was perfect, the staff was amazing, and the ambiance was lovely.

We ordered a variety of dishes, from pasta and salads to chicken and fish, and everything was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, the flavors were authentic and well-balanced, and the presentation was appealing and appetizing. The portions were also generous and filling. We also enjoyed some wine from their extensive selection, and they even offered some kids meals for the little ones.

The staff was incredible, from the hostess who greeted us warmly, to the servers who took care of us attentively, to the chef who came out to wish my sister-in-law a happy birthday. They were all friendly, professional, and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed, and they even brought out a cake with candles and sang along with us.

The ambiance was cozy and elegant, with a nice decor and a relaxing music. The restaurant was spacious and clean, and the lighting was soft and romantic. They gave us a nice private room where we could enjoy our meal without any disturbance.

Bella Vita, fantastic restaurant. It exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Delicious food at reasonable prices, and the attentive service added to the overall enjoyable experience. Additionally there is live piano music on Fridays and Saturdays, creating a delightful ambiance. Highly recommended for a perfect blend of great food and affordability.

The staff and the place itself is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The food is also an 11/10! I had my birthday party here and come here every week! Definitely recommend for a simple dinner, anniversary or party!

We go to dinner quite often with my son and daughter in law. In the 30 years this place is open I’ve never actually had dinner here. We went last night and the food was terrific. The place was beautifully decorated and it was an overall great experience. What took it from great to excellent however was our waiter Nick who was the most attentive and professional server we’ve had. Owners, don’t lose this man and reward him for his hard work. Service like that is exemplary!

Great food and service. They will adjust the meal to however you like it. Even make it vegetarian or Gutten free if needed. One of my favorite places to eat.

I have been to Cafe Bella Vita many. They NEVER disappoint. The food is tasty and plentiful. The tomato sauce is perfect and compliments the veal, chicken and macaroni entrees well. Service is both friendly and competent.

Staff is friendly and helpful with menu questions. Went with friends and loved the food as always. Ordered the veal genovese and it was outstanding! May be the best veal dish I've had in a very long time. Fried calamari is tender and crispy. Clams on the half shell very good. Haven't had a bad meal ever at this restaurant. Excellent service and great food, doesn't get better than that.

We had my daughter in law’s bridal shower thus past Sunday. The room was beautifully set up. The staff was unbelievably accommodating no matter what the request. The food was delicious and plenty of it. Everyone enjoyed the party. Thank you

The food, service and price were excellent. Went to Bella Vita yesterday with a group of friends. We ordered from the price Fix menu and were surprised at how generous the portions were. The food was was seasoned well and the presentation was above average. The owner came to our table and was very welcoming and engaged in pleasant conversation. We will definitely go back again.

My uncle hosted a 60th birthday party for my aunt here tonight and everything was phenomenal. I rarely write reviews, but I was really blown away by how amazing everything was. All of our courses were delicious; portion size was great and presentation was perfect. Like the food, service is also worth raving about. Our server and back waiters were all attentive and professional. Looking forward to dining here again in the near future.

Celebrated my Uncles retirement party here. It was such a wonderful experience. Service was great and food was delicious.

Although this restaurant has been there for decades, somehow last night was my first time there - and I'm glad we finally found it. We had a really great meal, great service, great drinks, and reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back... probably this coming weekend.
