Joy to Go

I have been going to this Chinese restaurant for 20 years they make the best food in town. We drive from Cincinnati when we go and see our children in Columbus and we have to stop by and take us some food home. We're there at least once a month. We used to live in Columbus but we moved to Cincinnati.

Been in Columbus, OH for 5+ years and JOY to GO has consistently tasted GOOD even without vegetables! As you can see my order in the pictures (My go too). I ordered Shrimp fried rice and Lo Mein with no vegetables! If you are seeking solid good Chinese food with prices to match portion!

Pretty great Chinese food, and I'm extremely picky when it comes to Chinese food. Sesame chicken was delicious, beef lo mein was good, and the fried chicken wings were especially flavorful and crispy. I don't like most Chinese places in Columbus except for Joy's Village on High and now maybe this one.

Best Chinese food in the city an the only one I'll eat at. Ok the food is what it's advertised to be and never have to wonder or worry about it

Prices were higher than the average asian restaurant in the city but the food was good.

Menu has a wide variety. I have tried at least 10 different dishes and they all are good. If you want pork in the fried rice there is an upcharge of 4.00 which I think is a bit much. Staff is always friendly and accommodating to changes in items such as no bamboo in a dish.

I live far from this restaurant, but it's the only Chinese food restaurant I will eat. Always fresh food and always ready on arrival. The chicken wings are amazing! All of the food that I've ordered I've never had a complaint.

Actual Chinese ppl run this place. It's by far the best in Columbus no competition.

Wow!! The food at Joy to Go is excellent. I love Chinese food and have been eating it for over 25 years, especially during my military tenure. However, this place by far is one of the best in this City. It's always hot and fresh, the egg rolls are fresh and hot.

This is my go-to spot for Chinese takeout. The Pad Thai is also good. I have never been disappointed in the food. They are very efficient even when extremely busy. I was so impressed with their precautions when the COVID pandemic started. They built a Plexiglas wall between the cashier and the customers, with a small door to exchange money and a larger door to exchange food. This made me feel very comfortable getting takeout here when I was still hesitant to go to other restaurants.

We order from here a lot. We used to always eat at Eastern bay which is in upper Arlington which is a great place but it's so far away from where we live now. We couldn't find a new place with food anywhere near as good until we found Joy to go. The food is awesome, and the prices are great, especially the amount of food you get for what you pay. And they are fast! Last time we called they were so busy they had to put us on hold for a minutes but still had the order ready in 10 minutes. The quality and taste of the food and the value for your money knocks the Competition out of the water in my opinion. If you're looking for a good affordable take Chinese take out, definitely give this a shot.

Been going here for a couple years and the food is amazing, the lo mein is a 10/10, rice is just right every time, chicken wings are also delicious, everything including veggies and meats are always well cooked and seasoned and the sauces are solid. Food is always hot and fresh.

Very well priced lunches and the staff is super nice! They were accommodating of my special dietary needs (I can't eat rice). The food itself was obviously fresh. I had the garlic shrimp, and it was a little sweet for my taste, but my husband enjoyed his orange chicken. Totally the place to go for take-out!

Excellent food so call ahead to avoid a long wait. Everything I've had has been hot and amazing. Very generous servings. I'm not a tea drinker, but I've made an exception for theirs. Definitely get the sweet tea👍

I went to Joy to go for the first time and ordered several different items and everything was delicious. The shrimp in my shrimp fried rice and my shrimp in garlic sauce was clean, nice size and cooked perfectly. All of our other entrees were cooked to perfection as well. The iced tea with lemon was really good too. This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant.

Had not been for a while. Love this place but the last time we got take out, my egg Foo young was a tab bit burnt and they never gave me extra sweet and sour sauce when I always asked when I ordered. Went this past Saturday, as it had been a long while since we got food there. It was fabulous! This was always our favorite place but the last couple of times it had seemed not quite as good but it was excellent again AND they even gave me extra sweet and sour sauce! Best food in the city! Service is great also.

EVERYTIME I go I’m never disappointed! The food is delicious, they are clean, very sanitary, food ready in good timing, and also very patient! Thank you for being the reason I eat Chinese food again!!!! Can’t wait til next time!!!

Egg rolls not the best, but everything else totally makes up for it

Today was my first visit , I'm not big on fast food Chinese but it was very delicious, very clean and friendly . I couldn't eat it all very filling. I had General Tso chicken with pork fried rice and wonton soup , with egg roll sold separately and they did give me sweet and sour sauce . Deserve' s my 5 star rating
