Cuyahoga County Board of Revision

After dealing with Cleveland Water I sometimes think Cleveland public services are doomed but these guys are great. The secretaries are very responsive and answer everything politely and respond to email and phone call quickly. The hearing employees are also very nice and professional. No issues here whoever runs this place should run Cleveland Water... though I have seen some very minor improvements in Cleveland water in the last couple years.

Not enjoyable, very difficult to present information, the Board seems bias and looking to maintain values even if statistics do not reflect. The Board is not there to be impartial instead follow whatever appraisal department come up with. My experience, the Board also pick and choose whatever evidence they want. If you have rental property with recent sale they will ignore the price you paid as the value and justify it on a income formula that has no research for accuracy. It is a ricked formula that does not accurately reflect true income. If you bring income statements with low income Board might refuse to take it based on time issue, or if you have all this evidence to justify value they might take a another sale for another property and claim it to be comparable most likely not similar at all. I have noticed if you are connected over the years things go much better for you.
