Citizen Pie

Finally - some great Neapolitan style pizza in Cleveland. Fluffy doughy crust done right with fresh toppings and unique combinations. Loved the Mushroom and the cacio e pepe pizzas, and kids loved the plain cheese and single topping pizzas.
Great service too! One of our pizzas came out of the oven overdone and they remade it before it even got to us, came out to let us know before the others came out.
Standard pizzeria atmosphere. Some beer and wine available. Grab some red pepper flakes or Hot Honey off the shelf to add a kick or make it sweet and spicy.
Will be back!

Delicious!! The chef salad was giant and meaty and only $6! The pizzas were very good. My fav was the margarita. We were able to park right out front on the street which was nice. The service was amazing- so quick and super nice guys. Definitely want to return!

Amazing Pizza! So fresh. They make it to order. Must try. We got the Margherita pizza and Little Italy. Very good.

Pizza made to perfection. Thin crust slightly toasted. Excellent ingredients and high quality toppings. Good clean pizza that is fulfilling and satisfying. Made the way pizza was made in Rome 2000 years ago. Accept no other; imitation is suicide!🙂👌

I love the food. The staff was pretty chill but attentive to be sure we love what we are experiencing. We ordered the New Yorker and I melted in my seat. If you want to travel to Italy without leaving Cleveland, go to Citizen Pie. The crust was crunchy outside and soft inside. And it's crunchy when you bite into it and the cheese stretch is 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. I will find my way back to get more pizza. Sorry, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, and Domino's. Citizen Pie is top tier for delicious and authentic Italian pizza. I recommend the New Yorker. 😘🤌🏽 I would love for them to have more alcohol options like Smirnoff bottles or wine coolers. We had the White Claw.

Wow. So traveling with finicky teens was a nonissue here. The pizza is incredible. Even the chef salad was an experience. The service is cordial and accommodating without being pushy or extra in an awkward fawning kinda way. We just drove 4.5 hours and this was our first meal amidst a days-long road trip. They may all pale after this one. Well done, Citizen Pie.

Fantastic overall experience. We ate at the counter. Got to see our pizza’s being made, fun to watch the guys do their thing. They were super friendly. I had the Spinach pizza, one of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere and aesthetic were great. Just a fun place to be. Even the music playlist playing was great. Thanks. Can’t wait to come back.

This is a cool pizza spot. We were the only two in the place. We tried 3 different pizzas, we were not disappointed at all. They have a beer selection to choose from. The pizza didn’t take long to come out of the oven.

The best pizza I've had in a long time! I love that they didn't alter the original building inside. The food was so good and it's great being able to see your pie cooking in the stone oven. Stopped by after going to the West Side Market which is right down the road. Definitely recommend!

This place is impressive! Not a ton of tables so it probably fills up fast. Staff is friendly and the pizza is incredibly delicious — the crust is cooked well and has a nice chew — toppings were fresh 👍🏻

Good fast wood fired pizza. Came for Cleveland pizza week. Had the pepperoni and new Yorker both were delicious. The hot honey was a great topping too.

Took a trip over to Citizen Pie on West 26th this weekend and enjoyed their oven-fired pizza! Ordered two pizzas: the smoked pepperoni and the little Italy. Both were very tasty and flavorful. The pizzas prices are okay but the flavors are really good and the menu has a lot of variety. I'm sure I'll be back!

Nate and crew make such a wonderful pizza, making us feel right at home and in tune to their atmosphere. Whenever I need to satisfy my pizza craving I'm going to citizen pie at W. 25th St. And Lenni knows the importance of Garlic & oil on that pizza 😋 She knows just how much. Get your pizza before or after a game or concert.. dine there or carry out

I ordered the “New Yorker Pizza” via Uber eats. I added on Burrata from the menu to put on my pizza and it didn’t disappoint. Very fresh and creamy taste. This pizza was absolutely delicious. However next time I’ll get it in person. The coke I ordered with the pie was pricey. It was $2.86 nearly (3$) for the can nevertheless this was a great lunch.

Let me just say: O-M-G. This is the best Pizza I have eaten in Ohio, since moving to the United States two years ago. The Neapolitan style pizza reminds me of the European/Italian style pizza I am more familiar with. The ingredients are so fresh and the crust is just majestic. I have visited the place only a couple of times but every time I finish my pizza I want to go back immediately. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a more authentic Neapolitan pizza place or you're willing to try a new style of pizza.

I loved the Margherita! The prices were pretty decent and staff was friendly.

Chill atmosphere, although a bit cramped. The pizza was amazing, everyone in the family loved it. The kids enjoyed watching them toss the pizza dough in the air as well as their pizza. Overall it was a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality, fresh wood fired pizza.

Finally, got a chance to grab one of these incredible calzones I’ve heard so much about, and I was not disappointed. I even drove it back home 20 miles and it was delicious. While we waited for the calzones, my daughter and I ordered a small pie, and it was done in a flash. Being 6, she’s very particular about pizza and this was one pie, which she still talks about. Not only was the pizza and calzone awesome, so was the staff we hung out with. Highly, HIGHLY recommend a visit to Citizen Pie.
