Yunnan Style Rice Noodle

Really adore this restaurant and visit regularly for the various rice noodle soups. The noodle soup only cost 💲 13.99 but offers high quality soup, tender beef or fish stew, and vegetables. I have tried tomato beef soup, spicy beef soup, mushroom soup, and they were all extremely delicious. Very good value! Highly recommended. I also love their dishes other than noodle soup. Many things are tasty such as lotus slides

It took me a year before I could try this place, but I'm sure glad I did. Probably one of the more authentic tasting Chinese restaurants in the area. Save yourself a trip to Berkeley and just come to Yunnan Style. Also hits the spot if you like Vietnamese food like pho and bun.

So good! Wonderful food, flavors, portions and kind people. The prices were really reasonable for what they offered - the soups are big.

If you like hot, spicy and sour flavors and meat I recommend the 双椒肥牛米线 the rice noodle soup with red & green pepper and thin sliced beef.

Wow, what a hidden gem! The food is excellent, and they have some really delicious Szechuan options that are totally unlabeled. This rivals our favorite Szechuan restaurant in SF. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is so good. Food is so cheap, and food portion is huge. Parking can be a pain to find. Highly recommend.

This place was my favorite Sichuan restaurant, I was upset when it closed. I am glad some of the dishes can be still found here. Not a lot of Yunnan style dishes, the noodles we tried and the lamb were superb. Will definitely come back.

Don’t underestimate the dine-in. It’s not a pretty setup. But the dishes come out hot, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. Prices are very reasonable, considering what dishes cost these days. We get the Sichuan water boiled fish and it’s a huge generous platter with way more than enough fish, Napa cabbage and sprouts to eat in one sitting. They have a very efficient dine-in where you order from an app/website. Highly recommended!

Highly highly recommended! The noodles are so delicious, perfect texture, with lots of toppings included. The portions are huge. The broth is awesome. I'm really glad to see a great new restaurant in the area with a unique specialty that is hard to find! I also really enjoyed the steamed chicken in chili oil. Definitely ordering again soon.

I just moved to the neighborhood and think I finally found my favorite Chinese restaurant! So authentic and delicious. Growing up in China and living in the US, I never liked most Chinese restaurants here—the flavor of the dishes were never right. Not this place!!! Rice noodles were DELICIOUS and taste just like what you’d find in China. Tried their wonton soup also and it was so good and reminded me of childhood meals my mom would cook 😭 definitely try this place!!!

Amazing soup! I mean, amazing. Not a date spot for sure but they know what they are doing in the kitchen. And yeah, it wasn’t the cleanest but reminded me of “normal” old days before all hell broke loose in 2020.

Their food is so good! Really well portioned food, fast and delicious. Food is very authentic and the portions are so generous. I love this restaurant. Take our service is very efficient, well-packaged and Covid safe. Looking forward to coming back for more food!

My first visit, takeout. Tea smoked chicken, sauted string beans and dry style beef chow fun. I really liked the first two; I've had better chow fun elsewhere. I will go back.

Authentic and tasty. Unlike ramen that gets soft and sticky when you get home, rice noodle still tastes good after 20 minutes drive.

Basic Hunan , and Chinese food, with an emphasis on noodle dishes and congees that I don't know enough about. It neither blew me away, or disappointed me, pretty solid Chinese food for the El cerrito area near Moser street

Delicious food, recommend the rice noodle with yunnan soup (white broth), stir fried pea sprouts with garlic, wonton in chili oil, and Chinese beef burrito.
