Avalon Oak Creek

I toured Avalon Oak Creek earlier this morning and the community was absolutely beautiful, extremely well maintained and in a great location! Danielle was the leasing consultant who helped me and she was so kind, helpful and very knowledgeable. I absolutely loved the units and the property was gorgeous. It was clean, safe, quiet, and very spacious. Lots of closets and storage space too. All of the amenities were recently renovated and was done beautifully and all brand new. The pool is HUGE, with lots of seating and the gym is perfect. I am so excited to potentially move to this community.

I had a great experience finding my apartment and moving in at Avalon Oak Creek thanks to Jeanette Simon, the Sr.Community Consultant for Avalon Oak Creek. Jeanette is so knowledgeable and she helped me every step of the way. I am so happy to say today I got the keys to my new apartment!

I've been living at the Avalon Oak Creek now for over a year. the grounds are immaculate and the homes are well built and maintained. The community center employees are top notch professionals and have always communicated professionally and compassionately to any and all issues. Special shout out to Jonathan Mashaw who has been always quick to respond and incredibly kind and helpful during my time living here. He and the rest of the team are top notch and make living at Oak Creek a wonderful experience.

Ralph is awesome. We had an emergency maintenance request this weekend and he came by from quite a distance away to help us. He solved the issue and as always was super friendly, helpful and prompt. He truly went above and beyond and we appreciate his helpfulness.

Moving here has been an absolute dream. Everything in the apartment from the floors to the ceilings are so well made. I really don't consider this an apartment complex. It feels more like a condo/townhouse.

The noticeable difference here is how quiet it is! I was not used to this at all. (We do live at the very back of the complex and don't face any other units, which is probably why it is so quiet.)

One of our top reasons why we love living here is because of all the things we can do in walking distance. We are able to walk to Trader Joe's (takes 3 minutes), walk to Chumash Park (maybe 2 minute walk), and we've even walked to the Starbucks on Kanan from the park.

We have gone in the pool 3 times in the last week (in the afternoon and in the evening) and nobody was in the pool. Felt so private! The pool is also extremely clean and way bigger than I remembered.

Since our balcony is facing the back of the complex, we do have a view of a warehouse. But it doesn't bother us much since they are only open during the week while we are at work anyways.

The one thing (the fact that there is literally only one thing is amazing) that I wish they had was a spray nozzle for the kitchen sink. It doesn't have the faucet extender so it is a little difficult to spray down big pots in the sink.

Another HUGE plus to this place, ceiling fans! On the lowest level you can't even hear the fan. So we sleep with it on all night.

But probably hands down, one of the #1 reasons why we love living here is the parking. You get 2 assigned parking spots in the underground garage. You have a remote that opens the gate and a key that opens a door on the side of the garage. It's super safe and secure. And then any above ground parking is free to whoever. Not having the stress of no parking (like your average apartment complex) is a huge relief. Yes, this apartment is more on the pricier side, but I'm telling you every penny is worth it. The extra hundred dollars you pay a month is paying for privacy, parking, landscape, the pool, the gym (which is amazing), peaceful surroundings, distance to everything, hiking trails, high quality hardware, large living spaces, speedy maintenance response, super friendly staff, etc.

Also, they have food trucks every month that come and park at the complex! I mean, come on....

Lalo and Ralph from the Maintenance Department were exceptional, they stayed in contact with me, arrived quickly and took care of everything that I needed fixed in my unit and got it all done right away and they were extremely efficient. Thank you!

Love Avalon oak creek! Very beautiful community and the staff is very pleasant. I have been working with Jeannette Simon, and she is so helpful and responsive! She has made my moving experience so easy!

Danielle gave me a wonderful tour this morning! She was very sweet and knowledgeable on the property. I loved how spacious the apartments were and clean the community is. Looking forward to bringing my husband back to check it out!

The leasing office is amazing. Jonathan is extremely patient walking me through the application process and I am so excited to move into a newly renovated home. I recommend Avalon Oak Creek.

Had a major noise disturbance with my water heater alarm.Called in and Ralph came all the way from ventura just to fix it. I really appreciate the speed at which this problem was resolved. It was probably annoying for our neighbors to hear as well and I'm sure they appreciated it too.

I moved to the community several months ago and my experience here thus far has been wonderful. I hope sharing my review after this amount of time helps those who may be interested in looking into moving to Avalon Oak Creek.

Nermine in the leasing office was excellent in guiding me through the application process and showing me my unit. She responded to emails quickly and followed up with the maintenance team for an inquiry I had when I initially moved in. She made what could have been an average move-in experience into one of the best I have had.

My experience with the maintenance team has also been great and they have always been quick and professional when I had any issues that had to be resolved in my unit. The app used to open tickets is easy to use streamlines the whole process.

The area itself is beautiful and amenities are great. If you are looking into renting in this area, you should strongly consider Avalon Oak Creek!

We were looking for home away from home and we found this great community Avalon Oak creek. We came to this place and met with an amazing person named Nermine who assisted us and helped us in all the steps. If she would not be there to help us we would not have leased. We had to go 4 times to the leasing office and she was always available for us helping us and answering all our questions. We are so great full for all her help and Avalon is very lucky to have her. Very excited for our move in

Jenny was of great assistance to me in understanding my lease options and explaining how the technology package works. and best of all she is in the office almost everyday!

Just a comment that I am sad that Jose Solis will not be working for the Avalon Oak Creek. Every time I requested service in my apartment he did the work with excellence, very professional, kind, and trust worthy. I gave him five stars.

Avalon Oak Creek is a wonderful place to live. It’s a peaceful community with comfortable living spaces. The leasing office staff is always kind and welcoming, maintenance is quick and thorough, and the neighbors are pleasant and relaxed. The only thing I could ask as an improvement would be some sort of storage space in the garage. The apartments themselves have a respectable amount of closets and cabinets but for bigger items it would be nice to have a large space available.

The maintenance workers here are top-notch they make sure everything is working at 100% and they never stop until they find and fix the problem. The maintenance here is number one.

Amazing place to live! The moving process was as easy as it can be thanks to Jeannette Simon's help, the amenities are beautiful, and the location is just perfect.

Leasing process was very easy. Apartment is in a great area! Lots to do nearby Thousand Oaks.

My wife and I just recently moved from Irvine, so having a space that is less crowded with lots of available parking is fantastic.

Lalo has amazing customer service skills and came in to help us with a few minor problems from moving in. Very professional and fast service.

Only gripe I can think of is the office defaults to voicemail, but they still get back to people quickly, so not a huge deal for me.

We’ve been living in this community for more than two years. I’ve been meaning to post a review for awhile, and today’s events indicate that it’s time. The community is nice in many ways, but I’d like to write about the maintenance team specifically. Late this afternoon, our tiny dog snuck outside while I was walking into our home. Lalo and Jose (from the maintenance team) found her wandering out front of our building, took her in, kept her safe, and by the time we realized that she was gone, Jose had taken her to his home, where he and his lovely wife cared for her until I got there. Initially, Lalo had offered to drive to Jose’s house (after business hours) to retrieve her for me… when I have considered reviewing the community in the past, it’s actually been in response to the level of service provided by the maintenance team here. Jose, Tim, and others have shown up promptly every time I’ve put a request in, for any task great or small. They’re friendly, efficient, professional, and tidy when they come in to adjust or repair anything. Truly, I couldn’t ask for more. And today, they saved our dog. :) Again, a huge thank you to Jose and Lalo, also Tim and the others, for their kindness and for always going above and beyond.
