This Chinese restaurant looks and feels like a truly authentic spot you’d see in tv shows and movies. The waitress was good as gold. She was happy to serve us and constantly had a smile on her face. Each item we ordered was absolutely delicious.

I came here the first time wit a client and her husband I worked for in 2016 and til this Dayi still come here have taken all my family here also the grandson they food is so good I only come here for Chinese Food staff are so nice love it 5 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐from me

Obviously not a true 5 star restaurant, but I weight this rating for quality, tasty, affordable food. This food is not "cheap", but by Bay Area standards it is a "deal.". Pretty much everything served here is a B+ or better, but some dishes are downright excellent.

This place is a dive, but a good one. We drive over here from Marin County because there simply is no Chinese food available over there of this quality and authenticity, much less real sea food.

Place could use new carpets and a paint job though...hasn't changed much since the cellphone was invented.

We love this place! Everything is the real deal and delicious! Our special favorites are the hot and sour soup, the dry fried pork ribs, green beans and (Surprise!) Pumpkin, and the yummy walnut prawns. If you like Chinese restaurants, I think you'll love this one.

I don't know why it's taken me so long to write a review for this place. My family has pretty much been going here consistently for about 15 years now and it never disappoints! Our true go to restaurant that makes everyone in the family happy! The food here will satisfy all your Chinese food cravings! And everything is always so delicious! Their portions are generous and their waitstaff is always so kind! Truly love this place.

I love this place! I've been going since I was a kid and the food quality has remained great. It's run by a friendly nice family. You have to go during lunch time to get their lunch soup (the best egg drop soup I've ever had). I honestly adore this place and I want them to cater my wedding. I usually have the sesame chicken, chow mein, chicken fried rice and broccoli beef and all these are great! The music is so relaxing and since it's in a weird location it feels like a hidden gem that's almost never crowded.

Peking duck dinner..our first meal at Little Hong Kong...anyone who reads my reviews knows I look for excellent Asian restaurants..our duck came with (gai lan) chinese broccoli a soup made with the meat and bones of duck.a plate of shredded duck meat and delicious duck skin on a bed of rice puffs(I don't know what else to call them) and buns and a sweet sauce..
I have been wanting to stop here for awhile. They close at 9:30 pm..this is the first time I got here early enough..AND I'LL WILL BE BACK! LOOK FOLKS A CHINESE MENU IS TO GIVE YOU A HINT OF POSSIBILITIES .. I CAN'T EAT OYSTERS SO I ASKED TO LEAVE OYSTER SAUCE OFF.. YOU CAN TYPICALLY ASK FOR YOUR DISH YOUR WAY.. if they have the ingredients they will accommodate your every desire.

I used to come here all the time when I live in El Cerrito, lunch specials! It has been a good 12 years since I have been back and the food is still just as good as ever. Quality has not changed. I think what really makes this place is their vegetable friend rice, it has bok choy, mushrooms and onions you can see. Its just so tasty. I could eat that as my meal. Everything else is delicious too! I never had a bad meal there. Oh, and you get plenty of food too!

I love there food excellent costumer service and traditional food..

This is my go to place to meet my mom for a quick, satisfying, and inexpensive lunch. It can be busy at lunch time, so I usually arrive at 1125, just before they open at 1130. Some of the sauces can be a little bit sweeter than you might find at other authentic Chinese restaurants, but there are plenty of options to choose from to find what you like. I would be very sad if this place closed.

I just discovered this fabulous Chinese restaurant. Having lived in San Francisco's Chinatown, I gave really picky tastes and this restaurant hit all the bells and whistles!! I was very impressed and hope to visit during the weekend morning to see if they have dim sum or juuk.

Richard, the owner, has gone to great lengths to create a genuine and delicious Chinese food experience. Everything is good and you cannot beat their prices for the lunch special. They have all the staples you would expect from your local Chinese restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is cooked quickly yet thoroughly. I highly recommend the clams in black bean sauce, if you're into that thing. Besides that, you can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu.

Great value, food & service!

We were passing through town and looked up Chinese food and decided on this. Best decision!! The food was incredible for my entire family. No complaints. The women working there were so kind and sweet with my children (even when they got a little too loud 🤦) I never felt unwelcomed. The bbq pork was amazing!! So were the potstickers. Five stars all the way. Thank you for making our last meal in California before we head home to Idaho a good one!!

I always get the same dish, Chicken and shrimp with green beans and vegetable Fried rice 🍚 😋! But some of their other foods are also good. They also have a great lunch special.
