Motel 6 Lexington, KY - East I-75

Most of time…places look at you funny, or even tell you that you’re not allowed to work on your vehicle at a hotel. One of the hotel employees/managers came over and looked at my better half, as she was working underneath her car. Instead of being like a lot of other hotels, he came back with some old rags for us to use to clean up, when she was finished. And for that, I’d give them 5 STARS for the rest of the year. I’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone. The updates are nice. And it’s always pretty quiet. Customer service is excellent too!

All of the staff were very courteous and accommodating. Room service was always timely and thorough. I stayed for over three weeks, and was always pleased by how tranquil the area was. The nearby stream and adjacent creek are relaxing and quite clean.

The man at the front desk was very professional and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

So I came here on a business trip after being told about this motel first I thought all motel are the same however motel 6 proved to be a clean very and well maintained the rooms are no different then being in a Hotel and you can’t beat the prices
The occupants are working class people if you are in need of a motel don’t let the name throw you off
Motel 6 should be called Hotel 6.

One of the best Motel 6 we have ever stayed in. Pet friendly for our dog. Staff was very friendly. Ask for a lower floor room and they were happy to get us in one. The room was very clean in excellent shape. Only issue was the tub was very slick when we took a shower. They do need to lay down slip resistant tape. But other then that the stay was fantastic. Any time we are in this area this is where we will stay.

hotel was very clean, beds were so comfortable, the man at the front desk was so nice. i recommend this hotel.

Very nice staff very close to everything that is needed they are very helpful to my son Mr White and I can't thank them enough would recommend them to anyone especially considering they have a very good price range as well thanks Motel 6 for helping!

This place has never failed me in price and quality. As they say you get what you pay for but on a budget this is the place to go.

Very nice facility and wonderful experience overall. A special thank you to the woman at the front desk when we checked in. She went out of her way to be personable and accommodating, which started out our stay on a very positive note. The room was updated, clean, and quiet, with no problems encountered during our stay. I was also impressed that they actually have a speaker on the outside of the COVID shield that greatly enhances the checkin experience. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this location to others, especially if you are traveling with pets!

This hotel and its staff have taken great care of me for an extended amount of time (7 mos!) With courtesy and professionalism. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean. This is also the least expensive hotel in the city and it's worth at least twice as much. The owner has a great heart and wants a great experience for everyone. This hotel is special to me and has done wonders for the community. Thank you guys!

The room was very clean in comparison to other hotels I've stayed in. Found no roaches or bed bugs after my usual check. Towels and sheets smelled clean. I like that there isn't carpet in the rooms the wood floors feel much cleaner than old musty carpet. Also more appealing. We liked the beds but we like a firm bed so for those who don't be aware. There are sketchy people outside as to be expected at hotels but there's also security guards and cameras so that makes it better. Our AC worked fine as did lights and the shower stayed set at the perfect temperature of "hell water" which I LOVE. I hate too cold or fluctuating temp showers. The bathroom light does come on along with a loud fan. Biggest cons were lower water pressure in the sink, no breakfast served and mainly no microwave or fridge in the rooms. It was hard to keep leftovers or figure out meals this way but do-able for a short stay. There is an ice maker for coolers but it did run out of ice once during our 2 day stay. It may have refilled later not sure. Also if you have food delivered stay on top of it because ants will swarm your meal in 5 minutes or less. We learned the hard way. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. 5 stars for the cleanliness and no smoke smell in our room and comfy bed! It makes the difference for me. A microwave and mini fridge would've made our stay a lot easier though.

Right by the highway, top notch service, ground floor as requested, room seems clean. Good bang for the buck. And you can fit a bike inside 🤘

Very clean! The housekeeper did an amazing job on the room. Comfortable. Pillows are horrible, but I usually bring my own. Location of my room was very noisy. Woman throwing up loudly, loud talking, kept the kids awake. Don't want that room again! But the service and condition of the room was great. Pool very clean.

Wonderful staff and clean rooms at great prices. Staff was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Was even quiet. The handicapped room was very accessible for my wife in her wheelchair. Was treated like I was in a 5 star hotel. Can't say the same for one of the neighboring motels

We stopped on our way through town and found this Motel 6. The staff was very gracious by letting us view the room before we decided to stay. They were courteous not only in person but also on the phone. The room was bright and clean, only complaint being cigarette burns in the comforter--a plus is that it was obviously washed considering the room didn't smell of smoke whatsoever. The value for the money could not be beat. So glad we had the pleasure of staying at this Motel 6 location.

I had never stayed at a Motel 6 before, but chose it as a stopping point on my road trip back home since I had my cat and they are pet friendly - no extra charge. I was a little hesitant since I had heard bad things about Motel 6 from others, but have to say I was pleasantly surprised! Clean, modern room. Friendly staff. The only thing I wish is that there was a microwave/fridge in the room, but that was not a huge issue for me luckily! I would definitely stay here again if I ever stop in Lexington in the future.

My husband and I came in for the Lexington Comic Con and stayed at this Motel6. We were thinking that it was going to be a mediocre place considering it was so cheap. Upon entering our room, we were very pleased to say that it exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and just as pictured on the website. The only complaint we have is there should be outlets on BOTH sides of the bed, because we both use our phones as alarms, as well as keeping it close in case our children call. Overall, it was a great place to say. The staff was friendly and the location is near a lot of restaurants. We would definitely consider staying here again.
