Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lexington Dtwn Area-Keeneland, an IHG Hotel

All the staff I interacted with were friendly, courteous, professional , warm and incredibly helpful.
The place is immaculately clean no matter where you go. It's noticeable that the staff takes pride in keeping the hotel clean and beautiful. Thank you to Gladys, Roberto, AR, The lady in training whose name I didn't get, and all the cleaning staff.
This is how a hotel should be kept cleaned and run should be a model for other hotel chains.

Yes, you should stay here. Unless you hate clean hotels, that is. Everyone here was friendly during our 3-night stay. The breakfast was very good each morning, the indoor pool was a HUGE hit with the kids, and the rooms themselves were very comfortable. And CLEAN.

We thought for certain that one of their employees was some kind of super-human clone though - he was outside sweeping the parking lot, then we'd see him checking to make sure the hallway was clean, and on more than one occasion he was sampling the water (checking the PH level, I assume). He was pretty much everywhere.

My family has stayed at Holiday Inn Express on numerous occasions, and this is one of the best we've experienced. Great crew running this place - highly recommend!

This is by far the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. Every employee I encountered with was great, super sweet and kind. When we walked into our room I could immediately tell it was clean, it felt very clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was fully stocked and fresh.

Clean rooms. Plenty of parking. Everything in the room worked and had no issues. The girl at the front, Gladys, is incredibly freaking cute and was extremely professional and welcoming. I'd come back just to talk to her more.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stopped for one night on our way from Michigan to Georgia. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. There was a little noise from some little ones in the room upstairs but it wasn’t too bad and they quieted down pretty early. Breakfast was really good. Lots of different options and the ladies made sure to keep it stocked until 10am when breakfast was over. I really liked the special parking area for diamond elite members it made it an easier walk to and from the hotel with the kids and made us feel safer. I would for sure stay again if I were in the area.

The hotel seemed new. Rooms are clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast bar had a good selection of items, well stocked and cleaned regularly. Staff was friendly, well dressed and polite.

My first time staying here visiting Kentucky. It was near a farm I was visiting and the Kentucky Horse Park. It’s close to restaurants and stores. Spacious and clean room! Walls seemed a bit on the thinner side, but great place overall. I would recommend this hotel!

Super nice and clean! The staff went above and beyond! It was a BUSY weekend for them, being the Eagles were in concert in Lexington. The staff handled it like Champs! 👍

Staying at this specific location was the best hotel experience I've ever had! I say this because of the staff. I have never experienced such hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness at a hotel. Every step of the way from securing a room to checking in to...well, everything! The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was excellent and well-stocked with hot foods such as scrambled eggs, omelets, turkey sausage, pork sausage links, biscuits and gravy, breads, hot oatmeal, yogurts and anything else that you would expect for a nice breakfast. The coffee was even exceptionally good! The location is very nice with a residential area on one side, but also exceptionally convenient to many restaurants and a Kroger grocery store. The area is very safe.

We stayed here recently, the Hotel staff was super helpful and very friendly. The rooms we had were very clean and spacious, my children had a great private time at the pool. I was very pleased with this stay, the last hotel we stayed at was not and IHG brand and it was a terrible experience.... IHG/Holiday Inn Express you all Did a great Job!! Loved it!!

Wonderful staff. I live in motels 50 weeks out of the year and here's a gem. Comfort, exceptional cleanliness and the staff knows the definition of southern hospitality. The location is pivotable if you have business or pleasure in Lexington. Central to downtown and local tourism. I'll be back again because they made my stay feel personal. Holiday Inn make note of how things are run here, you could use more experiences like this one. It was a great week thank you staff , Miss RJ and Miss Dee.

I stayed for a quick overnight with my husband and our three boys on our way home from vacation. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was so kind and most importantly as a mom of three boys, they had the best continental breakfast. We will definitely be back when we come through town!

I have stayed here with my family about five times traveling cross country. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. When we arrive in the evenings there are at least a half a dozen restaurants within walking distance in Town Center, which is super convenient. I always look forward to breakfast before checking out and hitting the road, always a great way to start the day. It is a little more expensive than some other places but well worth it for the quality and service.

Probably the cleanest hotel I've been to. The breakfast buffet was on point! All staff we encountered was beyond amazing. Any messes were quickly cleaned up. (My daughter spilling her cereal in front of the elevator!). We enjoyed the pool too.

Great place! The staff showed true pride in the cleanliness of the hotel and guest experience. I was told the next morning that we were checked in by Chad (hope i got that right) and he was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. Lettting us enjoy a beverage in the lobby area to unwind and relax was a prefect end to our day.

The building is really nice and very well upkept. Kudos to the staff for the cleanliness of the lobby, and other public areas, especially the lobby restrooms! The room was very nice! Everything was modern, up to date and very clean. I loved how BRIGHT the room was. The furniture was clean and fitting. The beds were clean and comfortable. The rooms had high ceilings, that doesn't mean much of anything but I liked that modern detail. Also, me being a tall guy, the shower head was higher than 6 feet!! Which means the shower was pouring down on top of me instead of being at eye level which was great! This hotel was really nice and the price was very good as well. Even cheaper than some hotels that are not nearly as nice, and I say that being an advent traveler.

We had an excellent stay. Our King room was spacious and clean. We were here 4 days and The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Especially Dee! We enjoyed the wonderful free breakfast served each morning along with a free Guest Appreciation Spaghetti Dinner on Wednesday night! Included salad and garlic bread. Highly recommend this hotel. We will stay here again if we find ourselves in Lexington once more.

This is a really well kept hotel, the room was beautiful and clean. The staff were extremely helpful even tho I did run into an issue with my bath not draining they sent maintenance out immediately.
They give you free water bottle when you check in which is a nice gesture
The breakfast is actually really good for a standard hotel breakfast, they had 2 types of eggs, bacon and sausage, fruits and all the regular dry servings. The location isn't too far out of down town, I think the 100+$ savings per night is worth the 5 min drive into town. I would stay here again.
