Holiday Inn Lexington - Hamburg, an IHG Hotel

Room 221 was clean and stocked. The sliding glass door for shower was a little tough to close may have been off track.
The bathroom door would not stand open, I propped it open with the iron. I like to just walk in bathroom without opening it each time.
The hotel lobby is beautiful but had a strong egg or sewage smell.
They have a restaurant thought it might have been they cooked or boiled eggs.
The lady at check in was super sweet and helpful.
We will put this in our favorites with IHG

Great place to get away for a weekend with shopping, food and more close by. I will be honest, I have been a Front Operations Manager for a Holiday Inn in California for several years and the staff is great don’t get me wrong however, the uniforms or lack of could be a bit improved. They are wearing their own clothing and some wear things that you think should be or would be considered against brand standard. Overall the rooms are great, the staff are friendly and helpful that combined with the location make this a top notch spot for any business or vacation you may have planned.

The young person who greeted us was so welcoming! He was knowledgeable about the hotel & area and started us of great. The room, however, had water damage and a mold problem. I could tell the employees cleaned the best they could but by night time the room was damp and musty.

We had amazing service the entire weekend we stayed. Everyone was so nice and helpful especially Camron, Roberta, and Crystal. The rooms are super clean. Highly recommend!

Front desk staff was amazing. Everything was clean and well maintained, bar staff was very friendly. Generally stop at Holiday Inn Express locations for the free breakfast, wasn't planning to stop that far north but wound up there and would definitely go back. One of the best Holiday Inns along I-75.

Maegan, sherry, Maegan which is the front desk associate. She is very accurate very knowledgeable and extremely nice. Her customer service is through the roof. Any manager would love to have her work for their company. Sherry She’s an awesome manager looks after and helps her coworkers to thrive and make the customers experience. Very very comfortable and easy. Looking for a clean hotel with very very good customer service these two ladies can definitely help you out. This is my second time staying and I haven’t even got there the second time but I will definitely stay here whenever I visit my bestfriend in Lexington Kentucky. This is the hotel I’m staying at come out and check them out. They are the best. Customer service is awesome. Thanks Marquise

First off, the staff was awesome to deal with. They were very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. Very clean place. Pool is very nice. The bar was a nice added touch that had some great local beer and drinks.Great location. Lots of really good restaurants nearby. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and spacious. Will definitely stay here again

We originally stopped at the Holiday Inn Express but the computer was down. Lane went above and beyond, used her own phone and made sure a room was available. Gave directions, she was amazing. Genek took care of us from there. Wonderful additions to your crew. Will continue to be Holiday Inn guests

Can't say enough good things about this establishment.
Check in was fast and easy. Numerous restaurants and shopping attractions in the area.
Staff is extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Management went above and beyond to address a small issue with one of our rooms.
Highly recommend if you are staying I'm the area.

Wonderful, clean hotel with amazing employees that are super friendly and care about your experience whether checking in or eating breakfast. Yummy breakfast too! Only downside is location to what we were in town for was far away but that's my fault.

Very nice and very clean hotel. We had an issue with our first room and they didn’t hesitate to get us in a different room. I would absolutely stay there again.

This was a really nice Hotel. It is brand new and so everything was perfect. The lobby was decorated very nice and has a full service restaurant in the lobby area. Our breakfast was free and we could select from the menu and everything was cooked to order - not the typical buffet . The food was really good and the service was too. We were just passing through Lexington; I wish I could have stayed longer here but will return to the Holiday Inn again. It has a great location too.

Nice new quiet location for the hotel. Check in was very nice and got some good recommendations for lunch and dinner ideas from the staff. All of my stay preferences where met. My only complaint was that we didn’t get new towels during the 2 night stay and we had to make are beds are selfs. Also parking was a bit tight seeing how there is another building for restaurants right in front of the hotel. Over all good stay and would definitely stay again!

Very nice stay. The staff was polite and accommodating. Only issue I had was when I was charged an extra $50 for my reserved room. After waiting on hold with the front desk for about 4 minutes, I was told it was for “accidentals”, and it would go back on my card as soon as I checked out. Overall, a pleasant place to stay. It was quiet and very clean.

We did a 1am check in and the staff was pleasant. Hotel and our room were nice, neat and clean. Price was fair. It was in a great location! Worth the 5 minute drive away from the freeway.

New hotel with nice furnishings, a lobby bar and restaurant. Our room was spacious enough. Lots.of drawers and nice size closet. Helpful and pleasant staff. Location is excellent. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, many within walking distance. We have family nearby which worked well for us. We will stay again.

We have certainly enjoyed our stay here. I personally love the design and "retro" look of the hotel. The staff has been exceptional. Should we return to Lexington we will stay again.

I have had a connection to Holiday Inn since my childhood because my dad, who was an architect and another architect designed the first Holiday Inn that opened in Memphis, Tennessee in 1952. My dad would love the new look for this hotel. Thanks for a great stay.

Brand new hotel very nicely decorated. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable accommodations. Great location when visiting family, will book again.

Update: Stayed here again a year later on Thanksgiving eve 2019 and again were very pleased with our room and our friendly service.

very nice location near I-75 and all the shops at Hamburg. many restaurant choices. The hotel was super clean, rooms were nice. Definitely recommend!

The rooms were nice and cleaned very well. Staff was friendly and funny for what little I had to interact with them. And it was nice and quiet with comfortable beds, good wifi that could handle my online games, nice bathrooms/shower and plenty of channel options. Would definitely stay there again
