Really glad we chose this hotel for our visit to Lexington! Everything was very clean and smelled lovely. All of the staff from the front desk to the breakfast staff were very kind and welcoming.

The rainfall shower was awesome! We were even happier to find that large, fluffy bath sheets are provided rather than the tiny towels you get at a lot of hotels. It all felt very spa-like.

The location here is also great. You're close to all kinds of bars and restaurants in the downtown area, but it is set back a block or two, so you don't get horrendous amounts of noise. (I'm not sure what the deal is with the loud bikes and cars racing around downtown in Kentucky cities.)

If I had anything negative to say, it would be that the rooms are a bit small, but it wasn't unreasonable, and it is to be expected in a historic building. We had enough space, but it might be more problematic if you had a lot of luggage.

Really amazing hotel in downtown Lexington. Nice neighborhood, history, easy access to local bars and food, accessible parking, amazing and friendly staff, and wonderful rooms. The area is great for walking; check out Graz Park or Transylvania University or some local history. The rooms are modern and very clean. Parking is on site, and you need a pass.

There is a very large Hilton not too far away, and it's not very nice. This is the hotel to stay if you want a unique stay.

Has a lovely two night stay in this classic hotel for a couples get away. Choose this location based upon value and will in all likelihood change our regular nonbusiness stay to this hotel we were so impressed.
The vibe here is just so relaxed and intimate compared to other downtown hotels. The rooms are a little smaller, but not so much that it impacts the stay. Bar while not a well oiled machine like a standard hotel bar, gets the job done.
One of the big sales point here is the signature rain forest shower. While neat it was a little much and not my favorite.

Friendly staff. Unique hotel with charm. Super friendly staff. The hotel has a tiny parking lot where parking rate is 8.00 a night. Don’t forget to get a tag for window at check in. Excellent location. Plenty of entertainment nearby.

Simply super! Stay here anytime I’m in Lexington for business. Although in an old building, was renovated with great detail, all high end modern furnishings. Love the bathroom (but not a fan of their rainfall shower head). Great service all around. Free breakfast is great - not cheap like lots of places.
Location is also nice. Quite a few unique and fantastic local restaurants in a block or two.

Hotel has great staff! The ability to take a quick walk to family owned restaurants is key. Easy to pick up an Uber from here. The breakfast was amazing and well done! The place is very clean and even smells like a fine hotel. Room and bed was great. This is a great hotel for couples or a business trip!

Motorcyclist friendly. Exceptionally friendly staff who made restaurant recommendations, tracked us down to make sure our motorcycles were parked in the hotel round-about where they could be observed and safer, and poured generous glasses of wine in the bar. Large room, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, and clean and quiet. The only detractor was that the room was a little warm despite the thermostat saying it was 68 degrees in the room. Should consider adding ceiling fans.

Amazing hotel. Quick check in, the front desk clerks are very kind and accommodating. They have a good amount of parking that is $8 per night. I got a room with a king bed that has a mini fridge, flat screen tv, coffee maker, iron/ironing boards, robes but no microwave which is unfortunate however I think there is one downstairs but the front desk. There is also a gym and little sitting area outside with a gas fire pit. There’s a bar and restaurant downstairs that is very nice. I didn’t try the food but I had a few drinks that were decently priced. There are ample amount of charging ports in the room which is always handy. There is also a lot of lighting which can be hit or miss in hotel rooms. The AC is great and the fan can be set on full time so you can have white noise while you sleep which seems to be rare these days. The shower is incredible. It has a rainfall shower with two shower Jets on the wall which is very relaxing. The water gets nice and hot. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect and you are within walking distance to an ample amount of amazing restaurants and bars. They also sell snacks downstairs if you get the late night munchies. I highly recommend this hotel.

What a pleasant stay! The staff was great! Free breakfast was above any free breakfast you get at any other hotel. Highly recommend the Sire. I loved the boutique vibe and we truly felt away from the hustle of travel while we were there. Next time we will try out the Mad Horseman and stay for small bites and drinks.

Excellent location with comfortable rooms and friendly staff! Nice bar area with outside patio and fireplace. If you appreciate the health benefits of cold showers, but don’t have the willpower to take one, this is the perfect hotel. You will have no choice since they have very limited hot water. Management is proud of their reputation for offering the coldest showers, cheerfully thank them at checkout and they will offer you a complimentary bottle of their cold water to go!

The room was great (one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in) the staff was very helpful, and we were surprised when we got there the parking was complimentary as well as breakfast. The price was great too! Definitely worth the little extra drive into downtown even if you are just passing through.

I liked the small boutique feel of the hotel.

There’s plenty of free parking which honestly was the deciding factor between other area hotels. The welcome area circular driveway has an incredible fire pit that adds to the ambiance of the hotel.

Check-in is admittedly weird. Staff sit at a desk too close to the ground, and they never stand when approached by guests. They look more like a night watchman than a welcoming hotel front desk. It’s a very flawed design and it’s not inviting at all.

My guest room was modern, and beautifully appointed. There’s certainly a farm house feel with a classy barn door to the bathroom. The bed was tall and comfortable. There were a lot of issues with cleanliness as I saw stray hairs in the bathroom and on the bedding. I almost gagged when I saw a very long hair on the shower toiletry tray.

Below the bathroom counter I noticed a used whisk toothbrush and wanted to vomit.

The bathroom towels were quite large, nice materials and they had a very pleasant fresh laundry scent.

They shower is almost Swedish featuring a rain shower head and two wall mounted jets. Me personally, this was unnecessary as the water pressure failed to make either worthwhile, and you really had to read the instructions for use, or risk being frozen or burned by the water if you’re not prepared.

Bathroom sink needed an auguring as it appeared backed up with even the slightest water.

Bedside, the clock was entirely too bright, and became bothersome while trying to sleep.

For business travel, I couldn’t get over the fact that my room lacked a true desk despite so much wasted space. Though the room had a large easy chair, and a glorified marble topped TV tray.

The closet had iron, ironing board, a single luggage rack, a safe and two plush waffle print robes.

I was affected occasionally by street noise which was disturbing, sirens, street sweepers and loud pedestrians.

Still, if they tidied up and did things a little better, it’s an amazing renovated hotel and perhaps one of the best I’ve ever stayed in Lexington. It’s close to downtown attractions and with free parking it makes downtown even more accessible as I wouldn’t recommend walking the area at night.

This is a nice hotel on the edge of Downtown. It doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but the room was huge! Super comfortable bed, lots of open floor space, nice walk-in shower with both a large rain head and front-mounted body sprayers.

The staff was very friendly. Downtown is entirely walkable from this location and the outdoor fire pit is nice. Plenty of food options in the area (all within short walking distance), the distillery district is less than a 10min drive, and the Kentucky Horse Park is about a 20min drive.

If I find myself in Lexington again, this will be where I stay.

Amazing hotel. The staff is exceptional- welcoming, professional, knowledgeable about the area and friendly. The hotel recognizes Hilton Hhonors members the best I have seen despite being more of a independently owned hotel feel. Rooms are clean and match what the photos and website represent. Parking is in a safe lot and fair price at $8. The building is older so noise does carry but this is to be expected. All in all one of the best Hilton experiences I have had

We love this place! We have been coming here for years! (Back when it was Gratz Park inn). The staff are so kind and helpful. The room was gorgeous! I adore the shower!!! The breakfast is amazing! The best part is you are in walking distance of so many restaurants, bars, Rupp Arena, the opera house, etc. 10/10 best place to stay in Lexington!

Amazing staff. Room was very clean and well kept. Breakfast was so nice I asked twice if we had to pay. Have already told my friends about it and will definitely be my go to when I'm in Lexington.

The site hotel might be the best hotel in the state.
Self parking $10
Best thick pepper bacon, fresh squeezed orange juice, and HORSES HORSES HORSES.

Horse art, a modern equine chic design, (see horse bit curtain retainers, abstract horse artwork)

Boutique hôtel feel. One elevator, cozy rooms, each designed so well.

I do stay here every time I’m in town and have no plan on going anywhere else.

We booked this hotel at the last minute and were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was clean. Parking was close and easy. It was very conveniently located. And, it was surprisingly modern for a historic and attractive old building.
