This is a must stop in Lexington! The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a very cool collection of rare and hard to find bourbons too. It was fun to see some of the old bottles available. Every bottle is for sale! The staff answered all my questions and provided great selections. They treat you like a friend looking for suggestions instead of like a customer They want to make money off of. Would absolutely recommend. This is a great place even for those who are not big bourbon drinkers.

Garrett made the best old fashion I have ever tasted. very knowledgeable about bourbon, and a fun highlight of our trip!

Found this place on a whim while walking around Louisville. The place has an incredible selection of bourbons and love that you can do flights in store.

Five for the service, 👍Davis, five for the selection, equals happy friends! Very impressed with the selection of rare bourbon, of course, something like that I don't think you would drink! You'd buy it for your collection just like rare wine. Anyway, it was a real treat walking through this establishment. I bought several bottles from select barrels for my friends!

I don't know much about bourbon, but Garrett took the time to thoroughly explain the differences between specific products. I was able to sample a few bourbons too, which helped me select a bottle I enjoyed.

Overall a great experience with friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable service.

I recently visited Justin's House of Bourbon (Lexington) before a Kentucky basketball game, and I had the most amazing time! The staff is extremely knowledgeable, inventory is extensive and specialized, and they have some of the most unique vintage whiskeys at their in-house bar.

I was looking to grab a new barrel pick at the time, and Garrett did an amazing job walking me through several options, describing tasting notes and flavor profiles, and I ultimately landed on their new 7-Year pick from Ben Holladay ... absolutely delicious!

I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for their next favorite bottle or a rare dram of vintage Kentucky goodness, and be sure to ask for Garrett when you drop in!

Ryan, Caroline, and Alan are all phenomenal members of the bourbon community. Top notch barrel picks and a great selection of dusty/allocated pours at their bar if you’re trying to taste something. If you’re visiting Lexington and enjoy bourbon, look no further than stopping here!

Traveling home from the lowcountry of South Carolina I passed through Kentucky. My love of bourbon drew my attention to a proprietor who touted himself as the House of Bourbon. It took about an hour to divert a round trip but it was worth every mile. He has an amazing selection of rare bottles at market price and mini extremely rare bottles which thanks to new legislation in Kentucky were purchased by Justin through private sellers in order to make them available to you. He has a full selection of Blanton's and the complete collection could be purchased here as well as pappy Van Winkle's, stagg, George t stagg, EH Taylor and many more. He also had many store pics which are available to taste at his sample bar on the premises. The samples are very reasonably priced and if you purchase a bottle that you've sampled he will include the price of the sample and to the purchase. He is knowledgeable and his amazing facility is stocked full of top quality bourbon.

If you are in Lexington, this is a must see location for anyone who appreciates bourbon. The location in of itself is nostalgic, and it only gets better as soon as you walk through the door. This is without a doubt the worlds largest display of rare Bourbons. The Staff were incredibly inviting, professional and exceptionally knowledgeable.

Every Pappy, and Old Fitzgerald bourbon that has ever been made is displayed (at least in one bottle) at this location, we were also able to find several vintage Four Roses at this location.

This is a must stop location for any bourbon lover, add it to your bourbon trail!

Brent at Justin’s was a terrific help. His knowledge of bourbon and his tastes were spot on. Very helpful behind the bar and with the products on the shelf. Probably sampled more that I should have, but considering the last time I tried to sample, the Gov. had shut all the bars down. Thank god they are back and I had a great time!

As someone who isn’t knowledgeable about bourbon, I needed help buying bourbon as a gift. I knew the brand/brands I was looking for but even then it was a little overwhelming. Garrett was knowledgeable and super helpful, so in the end, I felt good about my purchase. Highly recommend!

This place is incredible! The service there is amazing and the entire staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Could have sat at the bar with Scotty and Alan all day! Best smoked old fashioned in town! The store pick selection is nuts and they let you try before you buy. Walking distance to Rupp Arena and several amazing restaurants. I highly recommend!!

Scott was informative, helpful, and kind. This boutique style bourbon house, is beautifully smart in its feel and offers a wide variety of carefully selected bourbons. I will be a loyal customer to this local business!

Staff is extremely knowledge, and just down right plesent to talk to. They have a great selection of your non-allocated bottlesa at good prices so you can do all your shopping in one place! Their collection selection is just breathtaking. People always complain they're overpriced, but not really. Sure it's expensive, but if you want the convenience of walking into a store and picking up Buffalo Trace OFC, Blanton's Black, Col Taylor 18 Year Marriage, or anything else that's unobtainable, expect to pay up. Will definitely stop in again when I'm in the area!

Justin's House of Bourbon is an excellent spot to find rare bottles for special occasions. They have a wide range of rare bottles available and also feature a tasting bar inside. Come for the rare offerings, not for cheap prices on your favorite bourbon.

Stopped here on a weekend trip to the city. The atmosphere is great, everyone is really friendly, and you have a lot of tasting options. They convinced us to buy a different, cheaper bourbon than we were initially buying, just based on knowing what other types of bourbon we enjoyed. That really impressed me. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good bourbon selection, even if you know nothing about it.

What an amazing place to learn the history of bourbon. And the atmosphere is amazing in itself. The best select of hard to find I have seen period! Wonder place to sample bourbon but to top it off Scotty was so helpful in the history and knowledgeable of bourbon. Scotty was amazingly helpful with what I was looking for. I will be back for sure. Looks like another road trip with the fellas! Nashville Whiskey guys 2021!!
