Idaho Heart Institute

I have been having some Heart issues., I was initially seen by a PA she was very nice and knowledgeable. She ordered some tests and I visited with her after the tests were done, they found some issues with my heart, she then had Doctor Blank go over the results, Doctor Blank was amazing, he ordered more tests for me and started me on some medications. I have a MRI scheduled for my heart in about 2 weeks and a follow up with Doctor Blank to determine what can be done to improve my heart function. I have been really happy with my experience at this clinic. 🙏

I have been taking my Dad to see Dr. Gorman for a few years now and he and his nurses are wonderful. The medical transcribers, CNAs and technicians have also been wonderful. The receptionists are polite and definitely look a bit slammed at times. I am sure they have had their share of bearing the brunt of occasional frustration. I think the best thing moving forward for the receptionists, is to make good eye contact with each patient, be medically sensitive to any hearing or mobility issues. Don't just stare at the computer. Professionally engage with each patient and make sure they are heard. It's tough getting older, and we'll all go through it if we are lucky, so please focus on good communication and be friendly. Appointments can be scary for some and people can be nervous too. The patients also need to remember that they need to plan to wait. You're not getting coffee at a drive thru, you are getting your vitals taken and the doctors and staff are doing their best with all of their patients. Remember that they are human and are treating multiple people. Be thankful and courteous.

IDAHO Heart institute has become a familiar location. in my trips to Idaho Falls. Many appts have helped me understand my discomfort and pain in my upper torso. I am grateful for Dr Ryder & staff for helping me in my discomfort, even if it’s an aging moment. Thank you.

Dan Hunting is an amazing dr as well as the entire staff there at Idaho heart institute.

The Idaho Heart Institute has been my doctor for over 15 years. Currently, I am with Dr. Gorman. They have provided me with excellent service and medical advice and treatment. Dr. Gorman is an excellent doctor. The goal is to keep me from having trouble, but if I needed to have a surgeon, Dr. Gorman would be at the top of my list.

I started feeling chest pains while doing mild exercise (mowing the lawn) in 2021 and a stress-test EKG revealed that I likely had plugged arteries. In August of 2021 Dr. Chambers performed an angiogram and placed stents in two arteries. The positive results were immediate and so far permanent! I can do any form of exercise now without chest pains or discomfort. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Thank you Dr. Chambers and Dr. Gorman (who has been my consulting physician). Your work has been life-changing for me.

Had a great follow-up appt. Dr. Watcher is amazing. Wait times are short and I new remodel looks great. Dr. Watcher is very personable, and complete. Everyone there is great.

Today was my second follow up with NP Dan Hunting. He is exactly what we’ve needed in the medical community. He was thorough, compassionate, funny and just a real human. I finally got the answers and a treatment plan in place for my heart. He has changed my life and future. My faith in the medical community has been restored. All the staff were friendly and welcoming too. A totally different experience than 2 years ago. Thank you Dan!!

Met with Dr. Hiendlmayr today for the first time ever. I have never needed to see a cardiologist before so of course I was alittle nervous and worried due to the seriousness of potential heart concerns. Dr. Hiendlmayr took his time, asked millions of questions and really tried his best to empathize with me and my symptoms. He gave us his opinion based on the EKG but insisted on doing additional testing to verify his theory. This is something I greatly appreciated. When it comes to medical you should never assume, and always verify. He was very kind and loving to us. I can’t say good enough things about him, and the staff at the Idaho heart institute.

Dr. Wachter is amazing. Her nurse Cindy is amazing. This clinic is EXTREMELY busy because they are in high demand. If you're not patient maybe you should try somewhere else because these people have a huge case load. For myself this clinic is worth the wait because the medical staff is simply the best.

I took my elderly mother in for evaluation of heart related symptoms. Everyone from reception to nursing to pacemaker diagnostic was outstanding. They treated her with such unrushed kindness and concern. Stephanie Leonardson, NP provided such smart comprehensive care with a well thought out plan for diagnostics and treatment. My mother very much appreciated her excellent bedside manner. Thank you Idaho Heart for your care today.

Dr. Hiendlmayr is absolutely tops in Cardiologists. He looks directly at his patient when he speaks. He states what is to be done and then takes the time to ask you if you have any questions at all. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful to ensure that every patient is taken care of. I would not go to any other Cardiologists.

Love the front desk staff. The place is pretty busy, but what do expect when you have great doctors. Everyone wants to see them and they can only do so much.

I have been with Dr.Gormin for 2 years now and i have always received great care. Honest and insightful, I get the whole picture. Thanks and the staff is been friendly and helpful.

They do alot of testing to find just what the problem is. Very knowledgeable doctors!!! My surgeon was Dr. Hildamayer and I couldn't have asked for anyone more qualified!!! Great bedside manner!!!

They were prompt and concerned about my condition. Appointments were timely and I didn't wait longer than 5 minutes to get in to see the physician.

The front staff, Dr walkner, and the staff to check out are all very kind. It was a short wait time. Over all a good experience.
