Grocery Outlet Bargain Market

It's a cross between Big Lots (meaning hit-or-miss in terms of selection) and Dollar General (meaning that some of the packaging/sizes is non-standard, often smaller). Unbelievably low prices on some stuff--especially breakfast cereal, which (near it's best buy date) was a 1/10 the usual price. Other stuff was about what you'd pay at Walmart. But we went in just to look and quickly ended up grabbing a shopping cart because of the deals we found. The customer service is top-notch, so you might pay less but they treat you like you're paying more.

We found kid's snack here all the the time. Today I found something my kids like. Mike checked the date once again for me. He was super helpful and care about customers. I highly recommend:) this store and staff.

Every employee is SUPER friendly and helpful! They have a wide variety of products-especially for such a small store!! If you need almost ANY Asian grocery item, check here!! The prices are absolutely amazing on most items-a few are just "average" prices(at least for me-however with 5 kids I am often a Sam's/Costco shopper, so maybe thats not fair), &some may be a similar price, but for a higher quality product, so absolutely worth it(italian whole milk mozzarella-Im looking at you...I cannot even find this anywhere else in Idaho Falls)!!

Produce is amazing, very high quality, the organic sweet potatoes a few weeks back were the best, my kids were even requesting them for snacks :-) Lots of organics, lots of high quality, good looking produce!! Always good prices!! Although many times small quantities(usually there is more in back, if you need it because you have a large family like me, just ask :-))

While not of interest to me and my family, they have a wide variety of vegan/plant based items. Everything from meat & dairy substitutes to vegan frozen pizza &a wide variety of snacks!!

My younger kids(9,10,& 12)love coming in with me to see what they can find, its always like a treasure hunt for them since stock changes often(I love this too)!! They love all the unique products, it has even encouraged my picky, autistic daughter to try more things & that is a huge plus for this mama!!

I love the bargains, such amazing prices, knowing I can still get a full cart of groceries for ~$100...where else is that possible??? Yes, sometimes dates are a bit close, but my kids eat so much that's never a problem!! Heck, some of the items are in the "never go bad" category & it really doesn't matter(do cans of tomatoes ever really expire? Coffee?) You will also often get bounce back coupons on your receipt, an extra $3-5 off your next purchase, it's not alot, but everything helps in today's economy-AND its on top of their already low prices!!

We have met the owners, tonight Dave(one half of the husband/wife owner team)bagged my groceries and gave my kiddos candy bars, they were so excited!! He even remembered that I had 2 more(one was at gymnastics, one stayed in the car)&told them to pick for their siblings too. You just cannot ask for more!!!

A few weeks ago we met Chrystal(her photo at the entrance does not do her justice!!)& I believe one, maybe 2 of their children working in the produce dept. As a mom, I appreciate the lessons they're instilling :-)

It is definitely a family affair, which in turn creates an amazing family atmosphere!!!

We have lived in 11 states over the last 23yrs, I can honestly say this is probably my favorite store ever, definitely top 3 for sure(up there with HEB of TX & Woodman's of WI). I enjoy the variety, HEB/Woodmans were huge warehouse like stores that always had everything, this is a small store but with constantly rotating stock that gives it the variety of a much larger store :-)

Not sure if this is the store or Idaho Falls, but about a month ago I left my wallet at the store, likely in a cart(I think I left it in the cart, hubs loaded groceries in the car & didnt realize I hadn't taken it with me-oops), someone turned it in. Same condition I left it, nothing missing-not even the cash or "special coins" I was holding for the kids. Another amazing testament to the store & its customers :-)

Looking for snacks this time it was kinda a miss, but the store was clean and I did find some cosmetics at a great savings. Always worth checking out the inventory

Best prices in town for groceries. Everything is a little dated, but it's worth it. They have wanted posters for a mini kids shopping cart that went missing. Currently on month #3 of looking for it. I will find it!

I don't think I've ever been to a place with friendlier and more observant staff! I have a problem where I go into a store thinking I'll just get a couple things, so I skip the cart and usually end up needing one. I've had someone notice and ask if I wanted a basket or cart nearly every time that happens. Also, when they ask if I need help finding something it's so sincere. The store is always so well organized and clean. I'm here for the deals, but it's always a really pleasant experience too.

Everyone is friendly. Looking for something ask them they just might have it. I've been looking for several Korean chili paste and bean paste items. What a surprise to find them there. The dried fruit and nut selection is big. Never know what you will find. Not quite the same as it was 20 years ago but more like a grocery store than rows of boxes piled up. Not sure which way I prefer 🤔. But I am so happy we have a grocery outlet nearby again. It was one of the things I missed when we moved to Idaho. Just need a Trader Joe's in Idaho Falls now 😁.

Well actually I love to go shopping there since the store has a great variety of different vegan foods and dessert what Albertsons WinCo and Walmart do not have. And I can't afford to go to Fred Meyers or Brolims. I need bargain for my food stamps which are very little

Hit and miss on deals. Some items are great prices, and some are more or the same as other stores. Great staff, easy shopping.

GroceryOutlet is fantastic to start with. I would definitely suggest starting your grocery shopping there getting what you can, and then going elsewhere for the rest. It’s worth it.

A fun place to shop for bargains! Our kids love the mini shopping carts they have, too!!

Great place to pick up groceries. Some items are a little over priced. Just be sure to know the prices of items you need to purchace. Overall awesome place.

Good Deals, Good Prices, doesn’t always have what I need, but once in awhile find a gold mine of low priced products we like! Service is always fast and friendly.

It's a very interesting store. They carry a lot of items, some old-fashioned items and lots of other items. They have a cute area of housewares and garden things, great variety!

Don't like the previous negative reviewer keep you away. This is a great place to start your shopping trip. The only caveat is you have to know exactly what price you're paying at your regular grocery store. Like every other store some things are higher priced and some are lower. If you don't mind doing a little math, this is a great first stop on any grocery trip. It's clean and the employees are very helpful.
