Los Cabos Baja Family Mexican Restaurant

We stumbled across the place when checking out the elk antler arch. The food was great. They have wonderful thick salsa. Our whole family enjoyed it.

Food here is fantastic. I don’t know why anyone would waste their time eating the garbage at Agave when this place is right down the street. This place is better and more authentic than Mexican places I’ve been to in the South. Everything we ordered was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back. We’ll do our part to spread the word about this hidden gem.
The owner is a crotchety elderly man doing everything EVERYTHING by himself. I feel bad for him because it’s very hard to find good help in this town of very aimless youngsters who don’t want to work. Other places may have more employees and faster service but I would rather wait a little longer and enjoy a great meal.

This place is has amazing. Tasteful, and delicious food. Took a little bit of time, only one person doing everything, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Awesome and 100% recommend eating here.

Nice place, pretty decor, there is only one person in the building working so if you’re an impatient person don’t come here but he did a great job and food was good!

Our family of 4 all loved what we ordered. Salsa is a little spicy, but good. Like other reviews say, there’s just one guy doing it all. There was only one couple there when we arrived, so the wait wasn’t bad at all. He’s definitely very quiet and just does his job. But stayed on top of water refills and like I mentioned, the food was great!

I LOVED the authentic Mexican food here!! I ordered the flautas and the plate presentation was good and the food as well. The service was awesome! The owner was so nice to us. Hard work shows in a family owned restaurant and this place definitely displays that! Would recommend and return!

4 adults ate here today... our first visit. ( we usually eat at the Mexican restaurant across the street). We read the most recent reviews and knew service would be slow—- we were in no hurry!
All 4 of us loved our food and will most definitely go there again, when we return next summer. Very clean, great choices on the menu!
Yes, 1 person working as waiter, cook and bus boy (I assume the owner) ; very nice!. When asked, he told us times are difficult due to Covid. 😥 He had been here for 14 years.
Restaurant is one of very few open on Sunday in the Valley!

Gentlemen was the only one here and he was awesome. It took awhile but it gave the family good quality time. The salsa was great and so was the food. Not to mention it was memorial day and the patron next to us bought dinner for all the veterans in the restaurant. We will come back!

Absolutely THE best Authentic Mexican Food in Afton. Made fresh with care from scratch so it takes some time but Carlos is an excellent host. COVID has taken its toll so help a brother out. Your patience will be richly rewarded.

Very good food at a good price. If you want like hot salsa, it's the best.
Seems like it's a one man show so if you're in a hurry don't go, but if you like Mexican food it's very good. I will go back.

Best quesadilla ever, really fresh, perfectly cooked. Sides of beans and rice served in little taco shells, with super guacamole and sour cream. The best Mexican food I have tasted, and the best presented.

The food here is AMAZING! Service may be a little slower than most are accustomed to, but the wait is worth every bite. Get the beef flautas!

He has lost all of his service due to Covid so the owner has to do everything. He does everything he can to help. I would support this restaurant before agave!

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Salsa is amazing. The molcajete and enchiladas were incredibly tasty. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love the Carne Asada y mas. The gentleman that prepares your food is a true artisan.
