Lots of great businesses and plenty of good parking. Easy access and fast exiting. Great place to shop or eat.

Southland Bagel is my bagel place . They use cream cheese instead of American cheese and I am happy to tell you that it is a yummy difference! Quick and friendly service and you can join a points club to get free food!

A best kept secret to those outside of the immediate area. Quaint shops, Critchfield Meats a treasure.

Love love LOVE the Southland Shopping Center. So many great shops and groceries. Farmer's Market on Sundays, Tahlsound Music Festival, Southland Street Fair, Sunshine Grow Shop, so much to love about this area.

Great neighborhood environment. If you are craving fried chicken. Make sure you stop by the Sav-A-Lot there and give theirs a try, better than KFC and cheaper. Also there birthcakes are super moist. If you come on Sundays in the summer, they have the Farmer's Market which is great for all your homegrown veggies and if you are lucky a free show by a local musician.

Must try the fried chicken from Save-a-lot deli!!!! You will never think about KFC or any of the other commercial fried chicken restaurants EVER AGAIN... I only buy my fried chicken at Save-a-lot deli! But you be the judge, then you will understand where I'm coming from.😊😋

I love this place. I actually have some of my jewelry at Homegrown Collective's on Southland Drive. Theo is great, they appreciate the customers, as well as local artists. Very unique shop. Love it! #jewelrypod

Southland is a wonderful area of town and offers lots of great shops and delicious food. Good Foods Co-op offers a nice little restaurant and healthy grocery options. Save A Lot is a full grocery with a spectacular deli offering yummy take home lunch and dinner choices. A sweet neighborhood coffee shop, Winchell's, Willie's Locally Known and the Ketch are just some other bar and restaurant options. Shopping, bowling, and other fun activities help round out the Southland drive area. If you haven't checked out the area, you really should.

I Love Harbor Freight... They have affordable good quality tools and accessories for everything from, moving needs, garage workshop for all types of hobbies and jobs, to home upkeep and decor.... They even have cool yours for kids off all ages.
We also love Dickies... The best BBQ in the city... With free I've cream.... And cheaper than other's. We also love Bud's gun shop.... There are so many more wonderful stores to shop... It's a place you can complete your errand/Todo lost in one place!

My niece and I visited the Dollar Tree and the cashier was really friendly and chatty but not overly in any fashion. Fast service store is setup nice easy to find what we need

Very diverse offerings abound here. Good foods co-op, habitat for humanity Restore expansion, Marrikhas massive rebuild nearing completion, Sunday farmer's market rocks, Geno's formal affair, tattoo shop, gas, car repair, coffee, tax prep, CPA, Lexington Healing Arts, Willy's Locally known, Mai Thai, of course Save a lot and more and more. One of the best places to truely get all your shopping needs met. Do not forget to check out Winchell's for awesome local and regional cuisine as well. Winchell's and soon Marrikhas can also handle large parties and we were the first to get Winchell's to cater a rehearsal dinner for our wedding.

I don't get on this side of town much! So many store's. The dollar tree is clean and stocked well, and friendly & helpful employee's!

Southland Street Fair is a splendid outing for music and eating. Kids enjoy the train and games.

There is not a street in Lexington better than Southland Dr. It is a beautiful spot with great energy. The food, the shops, and specialty shops are under rated.

Eclectic shops and great vibe throughout. Hometown collectives is a must visit. Great people and perfect one of a kind gifts.

I like southland. My favs are Winchells, Critchfields, Liquor next to it & the $tree is one of the best in town

Nice historic part of town. Everybody must tru lynch at new meat shop there. And kentucky chocolate

I grew up in this neighborhood and it's changed a lot since I was there but it's still a great little Street, lots of quaint shops and nice restaurants.
