Nice quiet park. The park is nestled inside the garden side area. There are neighborhood, picnics and nature activities held at the park. The new equipment and sidewalks makes the park perfect for family fun.

Love having this cute park so close to home. Great playground equipment, pretty flowers, plenty of space, a stream (graywater but still nice) with a bridge, pretty sign detailing bugs and flowers. Just really love this park!

Edited to add photos of the new playground (Aug 2022)

My disappointment at how small the park looked was quickly turned around when we found the signs pointing us to the footpath adjacent to the spring. It's a pretty big, pristine creek nestled in a neighborhood.

This is one of the 'hidden treasure' parks in Lexington nestled between Garden Springs and Gardenside, and honestly one of my favorite parks! It has a basketball court, tennis court, walking trail with workoutand stretching equipment scattered along the path, and also a gorgeous stream with the "Silly Walk" Bridge spanning across it.. and much more after the current renovation! Great park! 5 ☆'s!

Gardenside is just a really lovely neighborhood. The park has a creek with a nice bridge. The walking path has exercise equipment. They took out the playground during covid. The neighborhood organization volunteers and maintains flowers and cleans the creek together. There's one covered picnic area, and several benches around the park. If you're a Pokemon Go player, there's plenty to do there. There's a waterfall on Appomattox.

Wonderful little park. There’s a small natural spring nearby, that flows into the crystal clear stream that runs through center the park. Minimal parking, and a pavilion with picnic tables. Small play area. Very nice though. I enjoyed taking in the peaceful bit of nature there. Thanks Lexington.

Wonderful, private gem of a park. It's fenced in and attracts Canadian geese, Mallard ducks, and on occasion, a few Herons. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of 'City life'. It's a great place for families(babies to seniors). There are plenty of benches to relax, read a book, or feed the ducks and geese, which literally walk up to you. This is the perfect spot for a picnic. The pond offers an excellent backdrop for a photo shoot. There's lots of wildflowers. It's definitely worth a visit!!!

What a great park off the beaten path. It's fairly distant the different equipment which is good with Covid around. Theres excersize stuff for older people that I found myself enjoying quite a bit (I'm out of shape so its like it was made for me too). The kids loved it and the bridge. I really liked the trees and plants that were labeled so you knew their species. It was a fun nature exploring science learning park.

I have been to this park numerous times with my other dog.. I lived on Celia lane for 10 yrs and walked the whole neighborhood with my dog..I worked nearby at the hospital so it was a good fit for me! Going back with my new dog brings back good memories!

Clean, quiet and a safe place to take your kids for an afternoon of outdoor activity. Love that I can get back to nature without even getting in my car!

This is a great, small neighborhood park. It has a playground, basketball courts, exercise equipment, a walking path, tennis courts, and a picnic shelter. I especially enjoy the small creek that runs through it.

This is an excellent and well maintained little park, and be sure to walk across The Bridge Of Silly Walks.
I wonder if the Ministry Of Silly Walks approved this approved this bridge?

Nice Park for all ages. Not on a busy street. Would choose gardenside over valley park everyday....

This park is nice for kids and they've also added workout bars that you can use with instructions, really good idea.
