Excellent coffee and espresso drinks, interesting chai drinks, delicious pastries. Patient, helpful staff. Beautiful large outdoor garden with soothing sounds of fountains, and plenty of seating. Off-street parking! Large clean bathrooms.
Next time I’ll come for a proper meal!

Cool spot. Waiting to take a test at Berkeley Adult School and had 2 hours to kill. Right across the street so that was convenient. Got the pancakes and they were delicious. Nice and fluffy but not too fluffy. If I'm in the area I'll be coming here again.

Very nice Cafe with beautiful seating outside. They serve breakfast all day as well. I usually get their Alex In the Morning breakfast, and my bf gets their burgers that comes with a side salad and amazing fries. Teas and coffee are also amazing. Highly recommend. Nice place to do computer work too.

Neighborhood gem - featuring Body Healer Latte and a whimsical garden, Leila is a reliable Sunday brunch spot full of charm, art, good time and sunshine. Though line was always long at the order counter, it moved really fast, so everybody can get their freshly brewed healer latte ASAP then walk towards the backyard and start sinking into a cozy seat in the garden. Per Leila’s quote “Love for all” and their extensive menu, it’s apparent not only they feed, they also soothe and heal.

Time seemed to be slowed down in this cafe. You started to notice the bird drinking water, coins at the bottom of the fountain, paintings on the wall, and companions sitting across, not looking at phones at all.

Food was fresh, organic, best sources they could find, local with sustainability awareness.

San Pablo Blue smoothie and Chlorella Matcha Latte today were spot on. Healing power and anti-aging at full force.

We were happily recharged here in all layers 😊

I had a delicious and generously sized smoked salmon omelette, and leftovers became a wonderful breakfast the next day! My table mate said the crispy bacon was top notch! The menu included several fabulous-sounding choices, so I'll just have to come back! This cafe is everything you could wish for: the food is great, and varied! They also make an remarkable array of coffee and tea drinks. They have a secret garden oasis in the back, and if it's raining their dining room is inviting, and features cool local art work. This cafe is also more than the each of its parts: the owner is a real mensch! I was there with the amazing members of Emma's Revolution after their recent mega-concert, and he made us all welcome. I had the eggplant sandwich 🤤 I really love it. It’s hard to try other things on the menus since this is so good! And the salad portion is massive which I’m very grateful for. I’m having a hard time finishing the salad since the portion is pretty big but you gotta have your greens 🥬 so I’m about to do it 😉 I’m sure the rest of the menu is epic. Good vibe! Nice garden with pants and fountains. Good place to hang out.

Such a cute spot with a beautiful patio! Walked here while my car was being serviced and had a matcha latte and pastry while reading in their stunning patio- so green! And the running water fountain was so peaceful, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Service was super friendly too. Totally recommend 👌🏽

Definitely a cozy spot with a non-chain coffee spot vibe. The food though, is top notch! I had the breakfast burrito with bacon and avo and it was very very good. Great mocha too! The back yard is dog friendly and definitely a spot you can take young children and not get any looks.

This is the cutest cafe with a nice parking lot, which is always a perk. The variety of indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor garden area being very quaint, was nice to choose from. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. And I cannot get over the vegan breakfast burrito, it was delicious and moist and filling! I cannot wait to go back just for that!

Delish vegan options and an amazing backyard!! The vegan scramble is sooo good and so much food <3. Drinks are a little pricey but the basil ginger lemonade was out of this world delish!! Also went with someone who was gluten free and she found lots of good options.

This place is sooo neat! Small little place in the front and a huge outdoor patio in the back! Which is gorgeous all year around. Their food is so very yummy 😋 I got the steak hash, the egg on top was the perfect touch 🤌✨

They have a large outdoor back patio with plenty of spacing so there prepared for covid. They have a small attached parking lot and plenty of street parking. Definitely a great place to visit when you're in Berkeley.

I love the place for me is like magic it has such a positive energy that you will have an awesome experience!!! Ordered a tea and a bagel with humus and fresh tomatoes cucumber .. so yummy
The lemon rosemary ginger and honey is such a healing combination that your pamper your soul !!!

What a gem. I got the Italian sausage scramble and a coffee. The scramble was tasty and the portions were generous. Highly recommend breakfast here.

We came here solely because our daughter’s name is Leila , and thought it would be cute . The owner and barista were so friendly from the beginning. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I had the Leila’s omelette and my husband had the breakfast burrito. He said the coffee was excellent .
We’re from out of town but would return to the garden on a warmer day if we lived here!

Never knew this place existed. Friend invited me to breakfast and I loved it here. Food was great, service was quick, and the seating in garden area was super relaxing.

Honestly this is the most greatest cafe near here! All of the employees here is super kind, and the food and smoothie there is insane. I really love all part of this cafe!

The best cafe in the East Bay! Been eating here for 10years. Anything you order will be fantastic. Also a giant outdoor seating/garden area. Top notch.

The usual good food. Had links & eggs with fruit instead of potatoes today. Came for midweek breakfast during mid morning. This is our first time back since the pandemic rules started 6 months ago. They are following all the safety rules. If you order a meal they will serve you in large patio. See photo. Restroom clean & regularly checked by staff.
