I hadn’t been to the dentist in awhile because LIFE happened.. so I was somewhat intimidated to find one that worked for me since I was going to the same one since middle school but I must say I’m so happy I found Commonwealth Smiles and Dr. Kress! Immediately when I walked in I was greeted and it took no time to get me back to my seat and begin x-ray’s. I found the process to be efficient and it was awesome seeing pictures of my teeth and things I’ve never seen at other dentist offices and I’ve been to quite a few! I feel like my questions were answered, and I was given what I needed and was able to feel comfortable. And an added bonus to be greeted by Buddy the office pup! 10/10 recommend to try Commonwealth Smiles for a great experience!!

Dr. Kress is the best, I’m so glad I found her! I have a lot of anxiety around going to the dentist, but Dr. Kress has made me feel much more comfortable and at ease. She educates you about what’s going on and gives you the options that are available along with her opinion on what would be best. This place is also pretty high tech! Some of the tools she used made the process a lot easier on the both of us. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Commonwealth Smiles!

I have never been to a dentist office and feel as welcome I as did at Commonwealth Smiles. Dr Kress is fully involved in the care of her patients from beginning to end. I highly recommend.

Because my primary dentist is closed on Fridays I called Commonwealth smiles about a crown that came off. They got me in and took care of it. I’m grateful for calling them allowing me to experience a blessing through their services.

Best dental place I have ever been to! Great, friendly, warm staff and medical crew, access to anti-anxiety support for those of us with dentist phobias, clean environment, knowledgeable treatment team, a service dog in the office, and LGBTQ FRIENDLY! Absolutely recommend this place for all your dental needs! Big up to Tania, she makes the whole process easy and accessible! 10/10!

Dr. Kress and her staff are excellent. Dr. Kress takes the time to listen and she will walk you through everything she will be doing. You could not ask for a more caring dentist.

You won't believe what I learned today....are you ready for this.?
No more goo. The last time I was at the dentist, they used this nasty tasting goo to make a model of my teeth. Now all they do is take a 3d rendering of my teeth. Uhmazing.

Dr. Kress and her staff are wonderful. They are very patient and kind! I have had poor experiences with dentists in the past and Commonwealth Smiles is a breath of fresh air. They ease my worries about any fillings, cleanings, and are great communicators during procedures.

I highly recommend them! They are also very funny too!

Emergency issue-broken tooth. Dr. Kress squeezed me in right after lunch and gave me the options. Even though I'm in no pain, she assured me she could fix me up. Decisions to be made.

Dr Kress is the most caring dentist you could ask for! She is thorough and tells you what you need and she takes time to tell you why you need it. She makes you feel completely at ease. I drive from Richmond to see her in Lexington because she takes such a personal interest in making sure she is doing the best for her patients. I’ve never met a dentist like her! She’s the best!

As a first-time patient, Commonwealth was incredibly kind, efficient, and seemed to genuinely care about my oral health. Tonia at the front desk was friendly, Katelynn was personable and kept things light-hearted as she dug deep in there, and Dr. Kress was informative with my care plan. Great group here!

Commonwealth Smiles of Lexington is the best dentist office in Lexington, KY. Dr. Kress (and her dog) is absolutely amazing. Not to mention, the staff are all wonderful and super polite. They all make you feel right at home, and they truly appreciate the patient's well-being.

I have a lot of dental anxiety and this is one of the few places I've felt at ease. Every staff member is kind and professional. All of my procedures are explained clearly. I really like coming here and knowing I'm getting my dental issues taken care of. They even have a dog (hypoallergenic) to provide some emotional support! And the cost for services is very in line with anywhere else I've gone.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kress and her team! As an undergraduate student at UK, she welcomed me in for hours upon hours of shadowing. And more recently, as a part time sterilization tech! I have been able to learn so much from everyone at the office and truly love the work ethic and positivity I am surrounded with each day. Every patient is in great hands here! Working here makes me excited for my future career as a dentist, and I love helping make the office the best it can possibly be for all patients.
