Visited this park while traveling through town to let my toddler burn off some energy. One of the nicest parks we've seen in a while. Separate play grounds for small kids and big kids. Lots of activity zones to keep little ones entertained

Only had to stay for a very short time but we still had a great time. It’s clean, nice view and there’s a lot of activities to do. Good place to take pictures as well. I love how dog friendly this place is.

Jacobson Park in Lexington, Kentucky is a hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. The park offers a beautiful, tranquil setting with a large lake and plenty of green spaces for picnics and relaxation. It's a fantastic place for a leisurely stroll, a game of frisbee, or a family day out. The playgrounds and splash pad are perfect for kids, and the well-maintained walking trails are great for a peaceful walk or jog.

The park also features a dog park, making it a favorite spot for pet owners. The fishing opportunities on the lake add to the recreational options.

While Jacobson Park is a wonderful destination, it can get crowded during weekends and special events, so timing your visit is key for a more peaceful experience. Overall, it's a fantastic place to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature in the heart of Lexington.

We are new to the area and this was just a real Gem of a park! We really enjoyed the various jungle gyms and playground areas including the splash pad. The splash pad is not huge but it's very well maintained and clean. There's a lot of nice picnicking areas in the general vicinity of the splash pad there's also a great little bridge where there's tons of waterfowl that you can feed. We did the paddle boats as well. We also observed a really nice basketball court, dog park, disc golf course with lots of participants using the course as we were there. It's just a beautiful park! It's on a beautiful Lake where you can also fish.

Great park with many ducks. It also has a play area for kids and plenty of free parking. It seems there is fishing during the non winter season.

I visited this place back in 2012, but I didn't get a chance to explore all of it.
But recently we had a group meeting with barbecue and corn.
It was amazing it looked like new place to me.
You breath only fresh air . I had a chance to explore all the site in short period, I realized that this place, continue to exist for multicultural family and friends to have fun in quiet and peaceful land.
This place contribute to the family development and composure.
I didn't see any playground for children despite seeing people with dogs and plastic bags.
I didn't use in any of those portable bathroom, but they exist at any site.
This area is very fun and great for picnic.
Every site has a huge shade and tables.
Bring your confortable chairs especially foldable, for comfort and tranquility.
I recommend this place for adults family meetings and getaway.

Me and my family love this park, it is so much fun every time we come here. I enjoy the water, the play ground, the BBQ areas, the nature with the ducks and geese. Just everything here is lovely. There are good fishing spots here and a kids water park for them to play and get wet. I just really love this park. Definitely family time well spent here! Bring your friends and family and furry family as well!

Jacobson Park is a great spot for families with kids! The play area is a great, with swings and slides to keep the little ones entertained. The lake is stunning, and it's always fun to watch the ducks and swans swimming around. Plus, there are sand volleyball courts, dog parks, and plenty of trails for a nice walk. It's a great place to spend the time with the family and friends!

Beautiful, big, and fun park. They have pattle boats and kayaks. You can fish in the lake, the park is huge, and so is the splash pad. The park is also very clean, i recommend coming here.

I have had my Childrens Birthday Parties out here numerous times! Its amazing! There is something for everyone here!! Playing with your dog(@the dog park), playing with your kids on the newly remodeled playground, relaxing, having a picnic(there are numerous grills), fishing(with a license of course), paddle board, flying kites. Shelters are rentalble through parks and recreation. You can do just about whatever you want there except drink alcohol. I've been to that park for many ages and stages of my life, my kids lives, my parents lives. Its a great place, beautiful, and you can even find a quiet place to read if you want.....

The playground is a great park for kids, especially kids who are a little older. Lots of different things to do and explore! There are a lot of ducks and geese around so unfortunately there is also a lot of poop on the outer parts of the playground.

I love this park! Jacobson has everything! From a huge playground with all 'the fixings' to a crystal clear mini-lake with paddle boats and kayaks for rent! More review to come!

First time here and LOVED it! Beautiful lake to fish at. Lots of people just doing what they loved. A few people had kayaks in the lake fishing. Lots of different activities going on. Playground for the kids, clean bathrooms (as a mom very important, bc kids touch everything) Didn't see any hiking though. Next to a golf course for you golfers out there!
