Ms. Lee was very helpful assisting getting my personal property tax paid off.

This is one easiest treasurer's office I've ever dealt with. They are quick to answer the phone and pleasant to speak with. You can tell you're calling a small town with kind people.

i moved out of this county in 2017 and also sold the car i had and did everything correctly through the DMV and yet they still keep charging me personal property tax for some reason. no email to contact anyone and no one on the phone has been of any help. ive spoken to someone several times over the years to tell them they need to update with the DMV and yet here i am with another letter saying i’m delinquent and they’re going to put a hold on my registration to a car i sold going on 4 years ago 🙄

I have resided in several States and Counties, I have never encountered such unhelpful antiquated administration as Lancaster Treasures Office. Terrible Customer Service, mailed documentation that did not get recorded, transferred several times on the phone to get the correct answers and received different answers depending on who I spoke to. Only one person was polite and helpful. For an office this size, everyone there should know how to answer questions properly with a smile and a thank you. Very Disappointed.
