Richmond Public Library - Main/Civic Center

One of our favorite things to do as a family is go here for a few hours. The kids librarians are so kind and love their jobs. The catalog and checkout are easy to use, and we never leave without a good selection to take home. Greatly appreciate our local library!

Helpful staff including Security. I witnessed a librarian go out of her way to track down a laptop for an elderly lady to borrow. Friends of the library is a nice little book store with interesting books at reasonable prices as well.

It was my first time visiting this library it was larger then most I've seen. The children's area I like an will bring my (Grandchildren) to explore to their 💕 (Hearts content) there is a large variety of assorted 📚 's(Book's) different languages to learn! The Staff was very knowledgeable in their (Field of expertise)! So what are U all waiting for come on down to (Richmond Library located at 325 Civic Center Plaza) Cross street is Civic Center & Nevin. God 🙌 Bless U all.

Renewal of adult library card/privileges.
I recently needed to renew my expired library card. On the first call they, the system was able to give me 2 more years of access to audiobook collection. My ostensible purpose, Libby app system allowed my renewal of “China, by Edward Rutherford “ a 34hour effort. Even with Covid keeping me in I need more the 21 day loan period. Thank’s Richmond Main

Your local library is your most under used resource!! The children's librarians are amazing! The have many services available, including a seed lending library to grow a garden, and a tool rental program.

Due to COVID, the library is closed to the public. Storytimes are online via Facebook.
You can check out books online or call them. Then schedule a time for pick up.

This has my favorite Internet access stations. Station 9s audio plays on its speaker, and station 17 doesn't work with my audio.

Called on 12/13/17. They do accept donation books again. Wednesday 10:00-1:00. Saturday 12:00-2:00.
