Berkeley Public Library - Tarea Hall Pittman South Branch

Was there on Saturday. Picked up some garbage outside. Staff was **Magnificent** with children. Safe. The card catalog online was clear and very easy to access. They did not have the book I wanted, but I guess it's rare, but again they are fantastic librarians.

The feeling of the library is new and modern. There is a nice sunny room large enough for events. Bus route 12 bus stop is right outside the library. There is also a tool lending library here that includes kitchen items. The computers have quality headsets for use here. The books on display are upbeat thought provoking.

This is where I attended a writing club on Thursdays from 3 to 5. I have to say I really don't like most of the library books at Tarea Hall Pittman library because I wish there were more books on science and computer science. I go here when I have appointments nearby. Also it is more relaxing than Central with later hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Also wondering why Jennifer Doudna doesn't talk about corecipient of the Nobel Prize Emmaneulle Charpentier in the biographies; most of the content of the book is about people and colleges yet not exactly science. I have reasons to suspect CRISPR cas9 is fake science and besides there is a newer gene editing technology called NICER according to the newsfeed I get.

I appreciated the writer's club that was going on but the leader reached their goal for their own writing project and we could use someone to take over that role. The tool lending library is here but I haven't used it yet.

Awesome resource, the tool library sounds amazing. The library is nice and clean, highly recommend stopping in. The only improvements i could see would be having a resource pamphlet that outlines Berkeley local support orgs for those struggling and a water fountain that is bottle friendly.

Awesome library. Quiet and clean. If you're looking for a large selection of books, Central Library is where you need to go. This is a chill place to bring your tablet/laptop, your personal books, notebooks, and work on your projects in a quiet and clean environment that is quite cozy as far as libraries go.

The staff are so helpful. I love visiting this library branch with my kids.

This library got a makeover not too long ago and came out looking great. They did a good job incorporating energy-efficient features.
