All Star Movers & Storage

Their advertisement was spot on 'excellent service' and that's what I received. I was referred to All Star Movers & Storage by my realtor Ken S. and I'm pleased to say this four-man crew was spectacular!

It started with a virtual tour of my mom's home with Cheryl D. This virtual tour was done via smart phone and I walked through each room so she could determine the size of their truck, crew size, time to complete the job, storage size and estimate of job.

Paco, Alex, Juan and Mario arrived on their scheduled day and were ready to work. They all joined my walk through (a quick recap) of what needed to be done and they got right to work. I had two destinations, #1 storage facility (during commute traffic, 15 minutes south) and #2, my home (45 minutes north, back in commute traffic). So it was critical to load the truck efficiently.

It was clear each guy knew their role and they all used their time efficiently, and worked well as a team. Not a slacker in the bunch! They were always polite to me and my cousin Teirey, as well as to each other. No request was too big or too small, and they never made us feel like a request was an imposition.

Because I had a few add-ons, one couch and a sectional (which are certainly big pieces), I wasn't sure if the storage space I rented would accommodate these additions. The person at the storage company made me feel a bit nervous and thought the movers would get halfway done loading it and then realize they didn't have enough room. Paco, the lead mover, was so confident, he said, "if it doesn't fit I'll pay for the move." I took Paco's advice and sure enough we had room to spare! That's what happens when you're experienced and confident—and he certainly was! Paco's advice saved me a lot of money by not having to rent a larger storage space! (Thank you Paco!)

Paco, Alex, Juan and Mario were impressive and you made All Star Mover & Storage look like the best in the state! If these four men are examples of the hiring practices by All Star Mover & Storage, then kudos to you as well!

(A personal note: This was my mom's home for almost 30 years. She passed away February 11, 2024. It took a while to get used to the idea that it was time to remove every photo she hung and every Tchotchke she bought representing her many travels. She was proud of her yard, every plant she grew and every hedge she shaped, including her well manicured lawn. She has two daughters and countless photo albums representing our lives. It wasn't easy watching her possessions wrapped in plastic, packed into cardboard boxes, sealed with tape and then disappear into the back of moving truck. Her possessions now stored in a 10'x20' storage space less than 10 miles away, will be divided, sold or given away in the coming weeks. Her home is now empty, and one day soon another moving company will show up to unload the possessions for a new family.)

I wanted to compliment your All Star Team of movers who came in and packed up half of my household for a move this past Monday. Harp and his Team of Nacho and Manuel were Outstanding!!. They were very professional and Personable from the start of the pack out to the delivery the next day. Very organized in the process and did not waste any time in packing my furniture up, loading on the truck and the Off load at my final destination. They were great to work with, arrived on time and had the load out completed quickly, far faster than I was imagining it would take. I also wanted to Compliment Kiki, the gentleman who set up the move and the operators I talked with at the company. All of you were very professional and informative and made me feel very at ease about the move and any questions I had. You Guys ROCK!!!

My experience was excellent. Both Rob and Mario arrived early before 9:00 am, and they were great very helpful and fast. Very respectful of all of my belongings. I would recommend them for as many jobs as possible. Rob and Mario represented All Star Movers & Storage very, very well. If you ate handing out perks or Bonuses for a job well done please put Rob and Mario, at the top of your list.

I had a very pleasant experience with All Star Movers. Right from the estimate to the actual moving day, everyone was thoroughly professional, polite, and efficient. Our moving date was a bit uncertain in the beginning, but they were very accommodating. They do tell you to give them a week's s notice in case trucks are unavailable.

We had a number of items for our one bedroom apartment that was underestimated at scheduling, and we were given a change in estimate to avoid going over original estimate time and paying extra. Rob and Yuri were a great team and efficiently managed to load everything in the truck. Highly recommend Rob and Yuri for moving needs, they were experienced and friendly.

I needed the movers to move everything from the level which had hardwood floors that were being refinished to a lower level while the work was being done. Later, moving the furniture back to the hardwood that was not yet "cured" (takes about 3 weeks after it drys) required delicate carefulness on their part to not scrape the new finish and they excelled at this! In addition, there was an antique armoire which comes apart for moving and when they reassembled it the door no longer closed because the wood had changed a bit during the storage period. They send a qualified person to fix this shortly thereafter. I was really impressed that they stepped up to do this. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes a business that performs well and stands behind their work.

Very prompt and professional group of guys that was used to move my 1100 lb gun safe into my home. They were a very nice group of guys to work with. From the first call to get an estimate to the job being completed, the process was easy. Thanks guys

These guys were INCREDIBLE! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or better guys to handle our move. There were stairs at both our old apartment and new house but that didn’t hold them back at all. Every single piece of furniture, box, glass, tv etc arrived perfectly in tact with not even a scratch on anything. My husband and I kept looking at each other throughout the day with smiles on our face telling each other how great this team was!!! Can’t say enough good things. (:

Excellent service. Called to confirm time. Moved my mom’s whole house and delicate antiques with the utmost care. Great, calm attitude. My anxiety about the move left within 5 minutes of their arrival. I won’t use any other mover now. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Just completed a complex move which involved a move from a house to an apartment, storage for some items and delivery of those items to another house. Conditions were difficult due to rain and mud. Paco and his team were excellent and got everything in place without any problems. We are very grateful to all the hard workers. Thank you!

I just moved about almost a month ago here In Dublin and I wanted to thank Jason, Michael and the other young guy for all the help. The move was fast and easy, only moving down with a 5 minute drive. They nicely moved are things without any damage and also helped pack away some things that were not even boxed yet. We were done with the move within 5 hours. Big help and I appreciate the good hard working effort! We are enjoying are new apartment.

These guys were amazing!

I got their services for a baby grand piano. They got here on time, they were incredibly nice and professional, and time efficient. 10/10 would hire them again!

We hired them when we moved from our one bedroom apartment to a house. Everything went smoothly starting from booking the appointment all the way to the actual moving day. I spoke ko Kiki over the phone for quote and scheduling the move. He is very professional and straightforward with the prices and what to expect. We end up having 2 guys and a big truck for all the stuff we have.

I got to admit im really impressed with the guys who did all the moving. At first i thought 2 people might take longer to finish and it would cost us more. But i was wrong. They did it in a breeze and end up spending 3.5 hours loading and unloading all our stuff. They didn't call professional movers for nothing. Very fast and efficient. So if you need good movers I will definitely recommend this company.

I just moved from Castro Valley to Newark and I used their services and it was absolutely amazing. Jason and Michael were my movers. They both were very efficient, nice, and understating. They wrapped all my furnitures with so much care and made this move much easier than I thought it would be. They went above and beyond to make sure I’m happy with their work; they even helped with a minor fixing on my table. Even though their job is not easy, they always had smile on their face and they were super kind! I’m very happy with my move and I’ll definitely use their services for my future moves!
